Team Vamos secured their second consecutive Filipino Club Tennis Group (FCTG) Team Tennis Championship on July 12, 2025, defeating Team BTF 4–1 in the final.
Throughout the final stage, Team Vamos displayed total dominance: Jaffar and Ali Mahdi advanced via walkover against Mohannad and Hamad. Ebrahim and Mahmoud delivered a commanding performance, winning 6–1, 6–0 against Rana and Eman. Ahmed and Abbas secured a 6–0, 6–2 victory over Mohd Salman and Ahmed Alawadi. Osama and Sayed Ali defeated Fuad and Alaa 6-4, 6-2.
Team BTF managed to secure a single win, with Adnan and Raul defeating Ahmed and Jameela 6–2, 6–2.

TDT | Manama Four Nations, One Purpose Bahrain's U23 national football team are in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan this week, competing in a four-nation tournament against Oman, Syria, and the host nation. The action begins tomorrow with Bahrain taking on Oman at the Dostuk Arena in Besh-Kungey, kicking off at 5pm Bahrain time. All matches will be held either at Dostuk Arena or Dolen Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek. Bahrain's second game is against Syria on Sunday, followed by their final match next Wednesday versus Kyrgyzstan. Tournament as a Springboard This competition is a dress rehearsal for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers, which begin in September. Head coach Ali Abdulmajeed has been putting the squad through daily training sessions since their arrival in Kyrgyzstan last week, using this tournament to assess match fitness. On Tuesday, the national team put in a strong showing, winning straight sets over Saudi Arabia. It was their second friendly win over the same opponents in the lead-up to the tournament. The set scores were 27–29, 25–19, 25–19. The win served as Bahrain's final tune-up under head coach Arnaud Gosserand, and it capped off a short but sharp preparation window for a squad aiming for their second title of the summer "When you win an Asian cup, the only goal is to win the next competition", said an ambitious Gosserand. The Competition The West Asia Volleyball Association (WAVA) has officially locked in the tournament pools: Group A: Bahrain, Jordan, UAE, Lebanon Group B: Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman This is the first-ever senior men's championship organized under WAVA, part of a long-term strategy to grow the sport across the region. Bahrain, with its recent rise in Asian volleyball, has positioned itself at the heart of that vision. Carrying Momentum Bahrain won the 23rd Arab Volleyball Championship in November last year, and just last month, they lifted their first AVC Men's Volleyball Nations Cup title.
