
Authorities take legal action against entities linked to banned Muslim Brotherhood — official
The source said that a cybersecurity firm allegedly linked to the banned group failed to disclose its true beneficiary, in violation of legal requirements, and committed additional infractions. Consequently, the Companies Registrar has referred the case to the Public Prosecutor, the source added.
In a separate case, the Companies Control Department had requested the State Litigation Attorney to initiate compulsory liquidation procedures for Dar Sabeel for Press and Distribution, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The company reportedly suffered losses exceeding twice its capital, failed to declare its actual beneficiary, did not fully pay its capital, and neglected to submit its annual financial statements.
Meanwhile, an association based in Ain Al Basha had voluntarily decided to dissolve itself.
Authorities reiterated that efforts were ongoing to monitor the activities and ownership structures of associations and companies suspected of affiliations with the banned group.

Army thwarts infiltration attempt using drone on western frontier
AMMAN — The Southern Military Zone, in cooperation with military security agencies, on Saturday foiled an attempted drone infiltration on its western front within its area of responsibility, according to a military source from the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF). The source noted that Border Guard forces detected the drone and tracked its path, applying the rules of engagement and managing to bring it down inside Jordanian territory. The drone was then transferred to the relevant authorities for the necessary procedures, according to a JAF statement. The source stressed that the JAF continue to carry out their duties with efficiency and vigilance, and remains resolute in preventing any attempts that seek to undermine the nation's security and stability.
