Lando Norris wins Hungarian Grand Prix in another McLaren 1-2
Mercedes' George Russell took third as McLaren celebrated their 200th F1 win over half a century since their first and fourth consecutive 1-2 this year.
Norris, on a one-stop strategy, held off a charging Piastri on fresher tyres to take the chequered flag by less than one second.
Norris moved to within nine points of Piastri in the drivers' championship ahead of F1's mid-season break.
"I'm dead, it was tough!" said Norris.
"I wasn't planning the one-stop strategy, my voice has gone, but even more rewarding because of that."
"I pushed as hard as I could, looking forward to a few weeks off," said Piastri.
"Everyone's going to sleep well tonight, great way to go into the summer break. The drivers were awesome," said McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
Polesitter Charles Leclerc was furious with his Ferrari team's strategy as he came in fourth leaving the Scuderia still waiting for their first win of the season.
Fernando Alonso, nursing a bad back, was right in the thick of things to finish fifth for Aston Martin, ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto (Sauber), Lance Stroll in the other Aston, and Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls).
Max Verstappen, in his 200th drive for Red Bull, had to settle for ninth with Kimi Antonelli rounding out the top 10 as the man he replaced at Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton, could only manage 12th in the second Ferrari.

Average age of UK cars reaches record high of almost 10 years
The average age of cars on UK roads has reached a record high of nearly 10 years, sparking environmental fears. Motoring research charity the RAC Foundation, which conducted the research, said drivers are benefiting from the improved 'build-quality' of modern cars, but this is 'bad news for the environment' as it is slowing the switch to electric models. It found the average age of cars licensed in the UK at the end of last year was nine years and 10 months. This is up from seven years and five months at the end of 2015. Petrol cars have the oldest average age by fuel type at 10 years and four months, following by diesels at 10 years and one month. The average plug-in hybrid was three years and four months old while battery electric cars were typically just two years and six months old. A total of nearly 34 million cars were licensed at the end of last year. Of these, about two in five (40.7%) were at least 10 years old, compared with 32.7% at the end of 2015. Steve Gooding, director of the RAC Foundation, said: 'On the plus side, for motorists, the design and build-quality of modern cars means they are looking good and running reliably for far longer. 'The days of them rusting away before your eyes are well and truly behind us. 'Even a 20-year-old car with a full service history can be a good bet for someone seeking a bargain buy that still looks up to date. 'The bad news for the environment is that the overall ageing of the fleet means the replacement of fossil-fuelled cars by those with very low or zero emissions is not happening as quickly as policy-makers hoped. 'To hit the Climate Change Committee's 2030 emission reduction targets without a cut in the number of miles driven, we believe that by the end of the decade there will need to be a 10-fold increase in the 1.3 million or so battery electric cars on the road at the close of 2024. 'That is going to require a huge push.'

Liverpool were one of the leading candidates for his signature. The meeting was held in Sweden with the club's representatives travelling all the way out to the country in order to sign Isak. They really wanted to sign him back then. However, at the time, Borussia Dortmund's pathway seemed like the better option for the young forward. Isak opted in favour of the German side and joined them in January 2017. The rest would be history but Liverpool had the opportunity to sign him five years later.

Nottingham Forest considering move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz
Nottingham Forest are weighing up a move for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, in what would be a potential club-record transfer, but no bid has yet been made. The club are holding internal talks on whether to move for the Brazil international, with Forest's new head of football Edu keen on evaluating a deal. Advertisement Edu has a strong relationship with Kia Joorabchian — who also represents Luiz — which may work in Forest's favour if they do seek to progress a move. But the club also have alternative targets and further discussions will be held, before any move advances. Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo wants to see the club add another midfielder to his ranks, as well as a full-back, another winger and a forward. The Forest head coach hopes to be reunited with Adama Traore, the Fulham winger — whom he coached at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Forest had considered a move for Luiz last summer but opted instead to sign Elliot Anderson from Newcastle United, with the Brazilian instead joining Juventus from Villa. However, Luiz made just three league starts in his debut campaign in Italy. He made one substitute appearance across Juve's four matches at the Club World Cup this summer. The Athletic reported on July 24 that Luiz would face disciplinary action from Juventus after not reporting for the club's first day of pre-season training. Luiz's sale last summer came as Villa needed to sell a first-team player for substantial profit to help fund further spending and avoid breaching Premier League profitability and sustainability rules (PSR). The Athletic reported in January that Manchester City were interested in a loan deal for Luiz until the end of 2024-25 as they sought to combat the absence of Rodri, who was out for much of the campaign after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Juventus' preference was either to sell Luiz or offload him on loan with an option to buy, and the move never materialised. Luiz came through the youth ranks of Brazilian club Vasco da Gama before joining City in 2017. He was subsequently sent on loan to Girona, who are part of City Football Group's (CFG) multi-club ownership, where he made 46 appearances. Aston Villa signed Luiz upon their return to the Premier League in 2019, and he went on to make 204 appearances for the club. He played a leading role in helping Villa secure a fourth-place Premier League finish in 2023-24, playing in all but three of their league games that season.
