Cristiano Ronaldo Extends Stay With Al-Nassr Until 2027

Since joining the club, Ronaldo has scored 99 goals in 111 appearances and was the Saudi Pro League's top scorer last season with 35 goals in 41 matches across all competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new two-year contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, extending his stay in Riyadh until at least 2027.
The 40-year-old Portugal captain, who joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 after a high-profile departure from Manchester United, was due to become a free agent at the end of June. However, the extension puts an end to recent speculation about his future.
Since joining the club, Ronaldo has scored 99 goals in 111 appearances and was the Saudi Pro League's top scorer last season with 35 goals in 41 matches across all competitions.
Although Al-Nassr have yet to win a major trophy during Ronaldo's time at the club, the forward's individual performances have continued to draw global attention. He remains on track to reach 1,000 career goals, with his current total at 938 for club and country.
The new deal reportedly maintains Ronaldo's position as the highest-paid footballer in the world, with an annual salary estimated at over USD 240 million.
Just weeks ago, Ronaldo helped Portugal win the UEFA Nations League, and he is now expected to lead the national team in a sixth World Cup appearance in 2026.
The extension also comes amid uncertainty at Al-Nassr, with former head coach Stefano Pioli leaving the club earlier this week. The club has not yet announced a replacement.
