Alfie Hewett's Wimbledon reign ended by Tokito Oda in thrilling final
The 27-year-old from Norwich, who won his first Wimbledon crown last year, was beaten 3-6 7-5 6-2 on a packed Court One.

Hewett was four from four on break points as he took the first set in 33 minutes.
He broke Oda again as the Japanese teenager, who beat Hewett in the 2023 final, served for the second set at 5-4.
But Oda broke back before holding to level the match, and then went a double break up in the decider.
Hewett saved two championship points on serve and another in the next game, but Oda converted his fourth to secure his second Wimbledon title after two hours and 16 minutes.
'Last year was obviously such a special moment for me, but I don't think trophies compare to this atmosphere and this kind of support,' said Hewett.

The legendary former player made that abundantly clear during Friday's men's semifinal matches, growing increasingly frustrated at his BBC co-announcer, Andrew Castle, who kept bringing up the VIPs in attendance at Centre Court. Club World Cup final scuffle 'should have been avoided' says Luis Enrique

Television footage showed the PSG boss raising his arm to the neck of Joao Pedro, who had earlier scored Chelsea's third goal following a Cole Palmer brace at the MetLife Stadium. Advertisement "There was pushing and shoving, a lot of tension and pressure. The situation obviously should have been avoided," Luis Enrique told reporters. "My intention was clearly to just try to separate the players." He admitted that Chelsea were deserved winners as he urged his team to enjoy a short summer break at the end of a remarkable campaign. Defeat for PSG denied them what would have been a stunning clean sweep of trophies as they failed to add the Club World Cup to the UEFA Champions League and French league and cup double they claimed in May. "I think over the course of the game they deserved their win. They played very well," Luis Enrique said.
