Taking to Instagram, Prithviraj penned a heartfelt message, honouring the courage and skill that Raju brought to every frame.
'Rest in peace Raju. So many moments of magic that would have been impossible to film without your skill and guts! You will be missed forever!'

The accident occurred on Sunday, July 13, during the filming of a high-risk sequence for Tamil actor Arya's upcoming film, reportedly titled Vettuvan, directed by Pa Ranjith. The scene involved a car-toppling stunt using an SUV, which was supposed to launch off a ramp and crash-land in a controlled motion.
However, the stunt turned fatal when the car flipped mid-air and crumpled on impact. Disturbing visuals from the shoot, shared by CinemaMadness, show SM Raju behind the wheel, executing the stunt.
As the SUV launches, it spirals out of control, flipping and crashing violently, prompting gasps from the crew. Moments later, team members are seen rushing to the wreckage and pulling Raju out. He had sustained critical chest injuries by the time Raju was taken out.

Saroja Devi and MGR in the movie 'Anbe Vaa' UDHAGAMANDALAM: While mourning the demise of legendary South Indian actress B Saroja Devi, Nilgirians fondly recall the filming of the 'Rajavin Parvai' song for the Tamil movie 'Anbe Vaa' in the Government Botanical Garden (GBG) in 1965. More than 10,000 people gathered at the GBG to witness the filming of the song featuring M G Ramachandran (MGR) and B Saroja Devi. In his book 'Misty Memoirs,' D Thiagarajan writes, 'During the shooting of 'Rajavin Parvai Raniyin Pakkam' at the Botanical Garden, more than ten thousand people crowded the shooting spot. I have never seen such a large crowd for any film shooting.' Dharmalingam Venugopal, who also was among the crowd, says, 'Among the unforgettable movies filmed in Ooty, 'Anbe Vaa' provided a great experience for the local people. The shooting of the famous song 'Rajavin Parvai' at the Italian garden in GBG, featuring a grand chariot, artificial mist, and regal costumes, was an out-of-this-world experience for the local audience.'
