Professor Green reveals he's caught Roseola from his baby boy - after dodging the virus throughout his own childhood

Professor Green has revealed he caught roseola from his baby boy Slimane - after managing to avoid the virus throughout his own childhood.
The English rapper, whose real name is Stephen Paul Manderson, 41, took to his Instagram on Thursday to share a snap of himself in bed recovering from the common viral infection.
Appearing under the weather, he told his followers: 'The one adult who didn't get Roseola as a kid obviously had to have a son who did and now...'
Roseola - also known as exanthem subitum or sixth disease - is a common viral infection that primarily affects young children.
Symptoms typically include a sudden high fever, followed by a rash as the fever subsides. Though uncomfortable, the illness is usually mild and resolves within a week.
In March 2021, the rapper welcomed his first child with girlfriend Karima McAdams.
Announcing the news on Instagram, he shared that his partner, 40, had given birth to their son, Slimane Ray Manderson, two weeks early.
In a lengthy caption alongside the shot of his newborn son's head, he also detailed their difficult pregnancy, which he branded 'a rollercoaster' and confessed during 'scare after scare' they feared their baby 'would not make it'.
Following his post, he was swiftly congratulated by his 865,000 Instagram followers, with many of his celebrity pals sending well-wishes.
Sharing a lengthy caption alongside the post, he penned: 'I didn't wake up Monday morning expecting to meet you. In my mind we still had a couple of weeks to get everything ready, but you had other ideas...

Professor Green and actress Karima were first linked in July 2019, after he quietly split from PR executive Milly Gattegno.
They were reportedly introduced through mutual friends and made their public debut at Glastonbury Festival in late June, earlier that summer.
