CLE ELUM, Wash. - Firefighters continue to battle a wildfire burning near Cle Elum that prompted evacuation notices for people living in the area.
What we know
The Red Bridge Fire is estimated to be around 60 acres, burning about 7 miles east of Cle Elum. The fire was previously estimated at 200 acres but has since been revised.
People living on Wiehl Road, Arrowleaf Lane, Loping Lane, Nordic Lane and Pine Duff Drive are under Level 3 evacuations, meaning leave the area immediately.
Level 2 evacuations, meaning be ready to leave, are in effect for people living south of Red Bridge Road to State Route 970, and west of Teanaway Road.
At least two structures were destroyed. Multiple ground and air resources are responding to the fire.
The public is asked to clear the area for emergency traffic.
What we don't know
There is no word on the wildfire's containment at this time, though the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office says it is holding at 60 acres. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The US military is investigating its new service pistol after the fatal shooting of an Air Force guard — following claims that the gun can fire without the trigger being pulled. Following the deadly incident, SIG Sauer, the manufacturer of the pistol, expressed its condolences to the service members and families impacted by the shooting. 'We have absolute confidence in the military's ability to conduct a thorough investigation and are working with the Air Force and Army to answer any of their questions,' the company said in a statement. The shooting comes just weeks after an FBI report echoed years-long concerns about the Sig P320-series pistols. The FBI's Ballistic Research Facility opened a probe into the firearm series at the behest of Michigan State Police when a trooper pistol discharged 'uncommanded' last year. U.S. Navy/Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Sade Anita Wallace Sig Sauer has faced a mountain of lawsuits over such cases in the US, with at least 77 filed in New Hampshire alone. The company has long refuted the allegations, asserting that its brand is being attacked by anti-gun groups and 'the mainstream media.' 'The P320 CANNOT, under any circumstances, discharge without a trigger pull — that is a fact,' the company said in a statement back in March. Advertisement 'Claims that unintended discharges are anything more than negligent handling and/or manufactured lies to support anti-gun, anti-SIG agenda are false,' the manufacturer added, claiming that several lawsuits have been dismissed around the nation. It also say that investigators have never been able to replicate 'uncommanded fire' incidents with the weapons. With the M18 temporarily pulled from the Air Force Global Strike Command bases, officials have ordered its units to use the M4 rifle in the meantime.

Homes evacuated over suspected 'military bombs'
Dozens of people living in an East Sussex town have been evacuated from their homes following reports of unexploded military bombs inside a house. Police have closed Newfield Road, in Newhaven, with residents urged to leave, while a number of properties in nearby Rose Walk have also been evacuated. A spokesperson for Sussex Police said a 50-metre cordon had been set up around the property while emergency service deal with with the items. The Army's explosive ordnance disposal team was said to be on its way to the scene. The Ministry of Defence has been contacted for comment. Sussex Police said: "Police are currently responding to Newfield Road, Newhaven, following reports of unexploded munitions discovered inside a property "As a precaution, officers have established a 50-metre cordon around the area. The explosive ordnance disposal team has been called in to assess the items. "Officers are continuing to engage with local residents, and are advising those in surrounding properties to leave their homes while emergency services work to safely resolve the matter." Lewes District Council is setting up a rest centre at the Hillcrest Centre for anyone unable to return home. St Michael's Church has also opened its hall to residents. Civilians wounded as Thailand, Cambodia trade fire
At least three civilians were wounded in a Cambodian rocket strike on Thursday as its military clashed once again with Thailand over disputed territory. Fighting erupted near two temples on the border between the Thailand's Surin province and Cambodia's Oddar Meanchey. Both governments blame the other for triggering the fresh clash. The two nations are locked in disagreement over the Emerald Triangle — an area where the borders of both countries and Laos meet, and home to several ancient temples. The neighboring countries have been arguing over where the border should be drawn for years. A livestream video from Thailand's side showed people running from their homes and hiding in a concrete bunker as explosions sounded. How did the clashes break out? Thailand's army has blamed Cambodian forces for opening fire first, claiming that Cambodia targeted civilians with two BM-21 rockets which hit a community in Surin's Kap Choeng district. It said clashes began when a unit guarding the Ta Muen temple heard a Cambodian drone overhead. Thai soldiers then found six armed Cambodian soldiers, including one carrying a rocket-propelled grenade, approaching a barbed-wired fence in front of the Thai post. Thailand claimed its solders shouted to warn them, but Cambodian forces opened fire toward the eastern side of the temple close to the Thai base. Initial reporting suggested that at least three people were injured and that two people had been killed, though it wasn't immediately clear if the deaths were military or civilians. Meanwhile, Cambodia said its neighbor had violated a peace agreement and opened fire on the Cambodian army. "The Thai military violated the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Cambodia by launching an armed assault on Cambodian forces stationed to defend the nation's sovereign territory," Defense Ministry spokeswoman Maly Socheata said in a statement. "In response, the Cambodian armed forces exercized their legitimate right to self-defense, in full accordance with international law, to repel the Thai incursion and protect Cambodia's sovereignty and territorial integrity." The clashes come a day after Thailand recalled its ambassador from Cambodia and said it would expel his counterpart, after a second Thai soldier lost a limb to a landmine in a week. Bangkok alleged the landmines were recetly placed in the disputed region. Thailand deploys fighter jet: reports Thailand's military deployed an F-16 fighter jet, the nation's army said on social media, as the dispute escalated. The forces claimed the F-16 had destroyed a Cambodian military target. On the other side of the border, Cambodia's defense ministry said Thai fighter jets had dropped two bombs on a road.
