Mel B refuses to invite two Spice Girls members to her wedding this weekend

Melanie Brown's upcoming wedding at St Paul's Cathedral will see notable absences from two fellow Spice Girls as she ties the knot with Rory McPhee
Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell will not be attending Melanie Brown's wedding this Saturday, according to sources. The fashion icon and former Spice Girl are both missing from the guest list for 'Scary Spice' Mel B's ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, where she will marry fiancé Rory McPhee in a star-studded event.
There's also talk that either Emma Bunton or Melanie Chisholm may skip the occasion. A source explains that Victoria, 51, won't be there due to pre-existing travel plans: 'Victoria has long-standing commitments abroad and simply can't attend. She adores Mel, and despite their different career paths, they get along well. It's unfortunate but there's no bad blood. It's just one of those things.'

Geri's absence is rooted in a more complicated history. She and Mel have had a rocky relationship, often unable to be in the same room without tension.

The rift deepened when Mel B disclosed during an interview on Piers Morgan 's Life Stories that she had a secret romantic encounter with Geri in the early days of the band - a revelation that upset Geri deeply.
Mel reportedly never apologised, and the bombshell caused embarrassment for Geri's husband Christian Horner, who was said to be 'mortified' by the claims.
It comes after neither Victoria nor Geri attended Mel's 50th birthday celebration in Leeds this May; only Emma and Mel C were present.
The upcoming wedding will mark Mel's third marriage. She first tied the knot with Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998, donning a flamboyant Vegas showgirl feathered headdress and a white-and-gold dress.

In 2007, she married Stephen Belafonte in a Las Vegas ceremony and renewed their vows in Egypt a year later. The couple separated in 2016 amid accusations of emotional and physical abuse from Mel, which Belafonte denies. His legal team claimed the couple spent through Mel's £50 million fortune during their marriage.
After her split from Stephen, Mel grew close to Rory McPhee, describing him last year as 'a family friend, great hairdresser... when I went back to England, he would come over and give me hair treatments... And as he was nurturing my curls back, I guess he was nurturing my trust and belief in a relationship.'

Mel is able to marry at St Paul's Cathedral thanks to her OBE, awarded in 2022 for charitable work supporting vulnerable women, particularly through Woman's Aid.
Ahead of her wedding, Mel celebrated with a vibrant hen party in Tunisia, complete with leopard-print bikinis, a choreographed dance, a belly dancing class, and a 'Zen party.' Her daughter Phoenix and 35 friends joined in the sun-soaked festivities featuring dancing by the ocean and a lavish menu.
The Mirror has approached Mel B's representatives for comment on this story.

Stars return to Royal Box as Wimbledon welcomes back the sunshine

Blue skies and 24C temperatures returned to the All England Club after a soggy Wednesday, with fans quick to swap ponchos for sunhats and take advantage of ideal conditions on court. Among the guests in the Royal Box were adventurer Bear Grylls, broadcaster Sir Chris Bryant and actor Rory Kinnear. Former Dragons' Den star Deborah Meaden and comedian Clive Anderson were also spotted taking in the action on Centre Court. Musician-turned-environmentalist Feargal Sharkey was seated alongside Dutch tennis legend Betty Stove, who turned 80 in April and famously reached three Wimbledon finals in 1977. They were joined by a host of sporting figures including former England rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward, Olympic sprinter Donna Fraser, and incoming Lawn Tennis Association chairman William Jackson. Prince Michael of Kent led the royal contingent. The stars were there to see Novak Djokovic face off against British Dan Evans on Centre Court, before Iga Swiatek takes on American qualifier Caty McNally. Top seed Jannik Sinner took on Aleksandar Vukic of Australia on No 1 Court, followed by Mirra Andreeva's match against Italy's Lucia Bronzetti. Later in the day, Maria Sakkari is scheduled to play 2022 champion Elena Rybakina, and British hope Jack Draper will face former US Open winner Marin Cilic.
