Berk departed after season eight, with Jeremiah Brent taking over as the design expert for the final two seasons.

Lady Gaga's Unexpected 'Wednesday' Role Comes With a Dark New Song

Lady Gaga's Unexpected 'Wednesday' Role Comes With a Dark New Song originally appeared on Parade. Season 2 of Wednesday promises a fresh wave of misadventures and spooky surprises for the beloved lead character. As Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) dives into another year of dark and kooky chaos, she will reportedly cross paths with a mysterious new teacher played by none other than Lady Gaga, whose appearance will be accompanied by a haunting new song. According to Variety, Gaga's involvement in Wednesday's new season also includes a tune specifically written for the series. Gaga is expected to release 'Dead Dance' in September 2025, timed to coincide with her guest-starring role. Gaga will reportedly play the role of Rosaline Rotwood. The character is a Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday. Gaga's team has neither confirmed nor denied her appearance during Season 2 of the Netflix series. 'So I feel that delves a bit deeper into this weird family." He added, "Everybody says they have a family that's weird but I'm like, 'name me one normal family.' There's not one I've ever met in my whole life.' Season 2's official description, per Netflix, reads, "Wednesday Addams returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Where Was 'Wednesday' Filmed?

On Location peels back the curtain on some of your favorite films, television shows, and more. Dark, deadpan, and fabulously glossy—Netflix's Wednesday, a spin-off of The Addams Family, quickly found its place as one of 2022's most zeitgeisty hits. In the days following its release, the series surpassed Stranger Things as the most-watched new series in its week of release, racking up 341.2 million hours of watch time across the world. The series stars Jenna Ortega (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, You) as the eponymous Wednesday, the daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams (played by Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones). The series follows Wednesday as she enrolls at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts, after she's expelled from her high school for an incident involving piranhas, the school swimming pool and the boys' water polo team. Cr. Jonathan Hession/Netflix © 2025 Netflix Despite the speedy recommission from Netflix, season two of the smash-hit series has been three years in the making. However, fans are treated to a host of new famous faces during the new adventures, including Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump and Billie Piper as Isadora Capri. Principal photography for the second series began in May 2024 in Ireland, with shooting taking place over six months. While much of Wednesday's first outing made use of Romania's Gothic backdrops, it was Ireland that the production team turned to this time around. On the team's decision to shoot in Ireland, showrunner Miles Millar said, 'Everything about Ireland fits the sensibility of the show. We have incredible woods. We have beautiful castles. We have the lush greens, the gray skies. Even though it was summer, some nights were very cold. We were shivering, but it looked fantastic. There's something very magical about the light in Ireland that really lends itself to the show and gives it something that's very unique and special that translates to the screen. Even though the show is set in Vermont, it makes it feel more aesthetically like a Tim Burton setting.' Where was Wednesday season 2 filmed? Wednesday. The studio offers various spaces spanning up to 30,000 square feet—a series of spaces currently under construction will span an additional 170,000 square feet.

Pamela Anderson Responds to Meghan Markle Plagiarism Claim

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Pamela Anderson has shot down allegations Meghan Markle plagiarized her cooking show during an interview on live TV. The Duchess of Sussex debuted With Love, Meghan on Netflix in March, but some online critics suggested the idea was a copy of Anderson's show, Pamela's Cooking With Love. Andy Cohen asked the Naked Gun actor whether she agreed during her appearance on his show Watch What Happens Live. As Ever/Instagram Why It Matters Meghan's Netflix show has faced a barrage of criticism from reviewers across the U.S. media as well as the many social media users who routinely mock the duchess. And Meghan's five-year deal with the streaming giant ends in September, raising questions about whether it will be renewed. In that context, Meghan might well find it something of a relief to hear someone come to her defense. What To Know Cohen, previously a guest on Meghan's first podcast Archetypes, asked Anderson: "On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela's Cooking With Love? There were articles saying that these two shows were very similar." Anderson replied: "One. I didn't." Cohen said: "One? On a scale from one to 10, you did not see any similarities?" Pamela about being compared to "With love,Meghan" — That 1 (@ihtiandrs12) August 4, 2025 "No," Anderson replied. "I didn't really look, but I mean I didn't invent cooking shows. She's just doing her thing." A clip of the exchange was viewed more than 92,000 times after being on X with the message: "Pamela about being compared to 'With love, Meghan.'" What People Are Saying One post on social media read: "Meghan Markle copied Pamela Andersons gestures right down to hand-movements in her Netflix show." Another account wrote: "Meghan Markle's With Love, Meghan vs. Pamela Anderson's Pamela's Cooking With Love? The difference couldn't be clearer. One is a genuine celebration of food, family, and authenticity, while the other is a shallow, copy cat attempt to sell a polished image." Pamela's show... — Meghan Markle Parody (@queenofmemes80) February 24, 2025 "Pamela's show exudes warmth. She highlights chefs and their craft, focusing on family, making it relatable to anyone who values good company and fresh home-cooked meals. It's down-to-earth, inviting, and real." Others defended the duchess, with one writing: "The British Media fetish of creating imaginary enemies and scenario about Meghan Sussex and EVERY Famous Person, that walks this earth needs to be studied. So happy Pamela Anderson & Gwyneth Paltrow didn't entertain the #TBM and the never ending fantasies they continue to create." Another said: "She also said she didn't invent cooking shows, & Meghan is doing her thing. Absolutely. Meghan is doing her own thing. She's living life on her terms. Good on Pamela for refusing to join in the hate campaign against Meghan. It's nice to see there's still decent & honest people about." What Happens Next Meghan has until September to renegotiate the Netflix TV deal she signed with Prince Harry in September 2020. Netflix is also an equity partner in her lifestyle business As Ever, which launches its latest wine, a 2024 rosé, on Tuesday. Jack Royston is chief royal correspondent for Newsweek, based in London.
