Civil Consumer Corporation offers 10% discount on all products for Flag Day

The Civil Service Consumer Corporation will offer a 10 percent discount on all items in its 69 markets across Jordan tomorrow, Wednesday, in celebration of Jordan's Flag Day and the anniversary of the corporation's founding.
The discount will be valid for one day only and will also apply to home delivery orders.
Director General Salman Al-Qudah said the initiative is part of the corporation's ongoing efforts to support citizens and ease their financial burdens. He encouraged shoppers across the Kingdom to take advantage of the offer to stock up on both food and non-food essentials.
He also reflected on the corporation's legacy since its founding in 1977, when the first store opened in Amman's Abdali area. Qudah stated that the goal was to provide essential goods at reasonable prices and guaranteed quality.

For her part, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Dana Al-Zoubi, outlined the key agreements reached during the meetings, noting a "consensus on forming a bilateral committee to review the Free Trade Agreement between Jordan and Syria, prepare product lists, and form a direct communication committee to address private sector trade challenges." Al-Zoubi added, "We emphasized the need to expedite the reopening of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing and agreed on the mutual recognition of conformity certificates for Jordanian products entering Syria. We will also consider the approval of Jordanian pharmaceuticals," adding that "there was an agreement to provide training to the Syrian side on digital transformation at the Ministry of Industry and Trade." On agricultural matters, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mohammad Al-Hayari, said: "We agreed to develop an agricultural calendar between the two countries that meets the interests and needs of both sides. Trade exchange between the two countries has seen significant growth." He added, "We agreed to appoint contact points between the two countries to accelerate work and avoid bureaucratic complications." For his part, Syrian Minister of Industry, Mohammad Al-Shaar, said: "Syria has suffered greatly, and we are now facing both a breakthrough and significant challenges in rebuilding the state. We need the help of everyone interested in supporting Syria—Jordan is the first." Al-Shaar stressed that "the two countries need to integrate their interests. Amman – The Civil Service Consumer Corporation (CSCC) announced promotional discounts on more than 250 food and non-food items, starting Monday and running through Thursday evening, July 3. Essam Al-Jarrah stated in a press release on Sunday that the offers mainly include essential goods such as rice, sugar, vegetable oils, tea, powdered milk, legumes, and tahini. These discounts will be available across all 69 CSCC branches throughout the Kingdom's governorates and districts, with sufficient quantities to meet consumer demand. He encouraged consumers to visit the corporation's official Facebook page to view full details of the discounted items and their prices. Al-Jarrah added that consumers in the capital, Amman, can also place orders via the online store at or through the CSCC mobile app available on Android and iOS under the name 'Civil Service Consumer Store.' He emphasized that these discounts are part of the corporation's ongoing efforts to ease the financial burden on citizens, especially those with low and middle incomes, and to protect them from rising prices. Yarub Al-Qudah, affirmed that there are promising opportunities to boost Jordanian exports across various sectors to several countries, noting that Jordan possesses multiple competitive advantages that qualify its industrial products to enter new markets and strengthen their presence in traditional ones. اضافة اعلان During a meeting on Saturday with the boards of Jordan's industrial chambers to discuss issues affecting Jordanian exports in certain markets, Al-Qudah noted that Jordanian exports saw a significant increase in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. He emphasized that the government has issued several decisions aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Jordanian industry. He also highlighted ongoing coordination with the industrial sector to resolve any obstacles facing Jordanian products abroad, through follow-ups with the relevant authorities in those countries and taking necessary actions. For his part, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, praised the Ministry's active engagement with industry chambers and private sector representatives to address challenges hindering production and improve the competitiveness of the industrial sector in local and export markets. Al-Jaghbir added that it was agreed during the meeting to hold regular coordination meetings between the Minister of Industry and other relevant ministers with representatives of the industrial sector to address pressing issues.
