
Pioneer Line in West Elgin reopens after serious crash
Pioneer was closed between Furnival Road and Kerr Road after two pick-up trucks crashed.
At the time of the crash, OPP reported one driver has undetermined injuries, while the other is uninjured.
Emergency crews were on scene and it was reported the road reopened around 11 p.m.

E.C. Row Expressway Jefferson Avenue ramp closures planned
The City of Windsor is letting the public know about more upcoming E.C. Row Expressway ramp closures. E.C. Row Expressway on-ramps and off-ramps at Jefferson Avenue will be closed for milling and paving work. Northeast Calgary residents struggle with pothole-filled construction detour
Drivers trying to get past an industrial park in northeast Calgary are having a rough ride on the detour. A road leading into a northeast Calgary industrial park, the only access into the area, is filled with potholes and residents are looking to the city to do something about it. Beaver Dam Road N.E., located north of McKnight Boulevard and west of Deerfoot Trail in the community of Skyline West, is riddled with potholes, forcing drivers to slow down. Residents say it's the only way in or out of the area because the regular route – Goddard Avenue N.E. – is shut down due to construction. The road isn't paved and residents say it's been in poor condition for years. Northeast Calgary residents struggle with pothole-filled construction detour They've called on the city to bring in a grader to level out the road while construction continues. The city is rehabilitating the bridge and conducting flood mitigation work on Goddard Avenue N.E. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 7.

(File) A 66-year-old motorcycle driver was seriously injured last weekend in a Highway 11 crash just south of North Bay. Ontario Provincial Police and an ambulance from North Bay responded to the single-vehicle collision July 12 around 5 p.m. 'The driver and lone occupant of the motorcycle, a 66-year-old individual from South River, was transported to local hospital with serious, life-altering injuries,' police said in a news release Tuesday. 'There were lane restrictions on southbound Highway 11 for approximately four hours while emergency crews and investigators were on scene.' Further updates will be provided as new information becomes available, police said.
