Trigg Kiser police report: Inside child abuse probe against Emilie Kiser's husband, Brady
'The Chandler Police Department has completed its investigation into the tragic drowning of three-year-old Trigg Kiser. Following a thorough review of the evidence, investigators have recommended a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse against Brady Kiser,' Chandler Police Department's official statement read.
'After a thorough review of the evidence, we have submitted the case to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office for further review and any potential prosecutorial decisions.'

How did Trigg Kiser drown? Chandler PD investigates
This May, young Trigg was found unresponsive in the backyard pool of the Kiser family's Chandler, Arizona, home. He was rushed to the hospital but sadly passed away six days later, on 18 May.
Court documents reveal that police had been looking into possible child abuse charges even before Trigg's death. On 13 May, just one day after the drowning, Chandler police filed search warrant applications related to the incident, citing Brady Kiser's actions while caring for the couple's two children.
According to those police records, Brady Kiser told investigators he had been at home with Trigg and their newborn son, Theodore, while Emilie was out with friends. He said he last saw Trigg playing near the pool, which he described as 'not uncommon.' The pool, he said, 'usually had a protective cover.'
Brady told police he had been attending to Theodore and lost sight of Trigg for approximately three to five minutes. When he went to look for him, he found Trigg floating in the pool.

Brady tried to perform CPR until the firefighters arrived. Immediately, the emergency responders were called. Trigg was initially admitted to Chandler Regional Medical Centre, later being transferred to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where he was in critical condition until his death.
Emilie, who has 4.1 million on TikTok and 1.7 million on Instagram, has not shared anything through either of her social media since the tragedy.

Patna Police arrest three for raping minor girl in Danapur
Patna: Patna Police have arrested three persons for allegedly raping a minor girl and blackmailing her with a video clip, an official said on Thursday. City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap Singh said that the police came to know about the incident on July 22 after the victim's parents lodged a complaint at the Danapur police station. 'The investigation revealed that four youths allegedly gang raped the victim, recorded a video of the incident, and used it to blackmail her. They extorted jewellery kept in the house,' Singh said, adding that the case was solved within 24 hours of the complaint. Danapur Police registered FIR number 767/25 on July 22, 2025, under Sections 70(2), 308(2), 351(2) of the BNS, along with relevant sections of the POCSO Act (4/6/12). According to Singh, the accused befriended the victim on Instagram, took her to a hotel, gang raped her, recorded the act, and later used the obscene video to extort gold jewellery, which they sold at a shop. Based on the statements of the three arrested youths, the police also arrested goldsmith Arvind Kumar for allegedly purchasing the stolen jewellery. During questioning, Kumar admitted that he had bought the jewellery from the accused. 'We have seized five mobile phones during the operation, and raids are underway to apprehend another individual involved in the incident,' Singh said. The investigation team included Sub-Inspector Ashish Kumar Chaudhary, Sub-Inspector Bittu Kumar Sharma, Sub-Inspector Preeti Kumari, Assistant Sub-Inspector Chandan Pratap Karna, and members of the Police Station armed force. The incident once again exposes the sad and grim reality of the society pertaining to safety and security of women. Crimes against women have been one of the most glaring challenges across the nation and the entire country has been struggling to deal effectively with it.

Pakistani woman sent to police custody in daughter's ‘honour killing' case
A Pakistani court on Thursday remanded a woman to police custody for two days in connection with the alleged honour killing of her daughter and a man in Balochistan province. In a viral video, the woman is purportedly seen holding the Holy Quran and stating that the act was not a crime but aligned with traditional values. The woman, identified as Gul Jan Bibi, was arrested after a video surfaced on social media in which she justified the killings, citing adherence to Baloch tribal customs. She was presented before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Quetta, which sent her on a two-day police remand. In the video, Gul is seen holding the Holy Quran and stating that the act was not a crime but aligned with traditional values. 'My daughter who was married with five children was killed because of her relations with a Baloch youngster who used to post objectionable videos on Tik Tok despite several warnings given to him by our family. 'In Balochi culture, having illicit relations is a crime and punishable by death. The decision to shoot them was taken by a Jirga (tribal council),' she said in the video message. Police also arrested a tribal leader and 10 others in connection with the case, which came into limelight last week after a video went viral in which Gul's daughter and her male friend were seen being shot dead by a group of men in a mountainous area. According to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, there were at least 405 victims of honour killings in 2024 across various parts of the country.
