Ohio woman, 39, to spend rest of her life in prison after raping child
An Ohio woman who was found guilty of raping a child will spend the rest of her life behind bars. Kristina Jacobson, 39, of Akron, near Cleveland, was convicted of illegal use of a minor or an impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, rape, and gross sexual imposition at a hearing on June 12. She will have to register as a Tier III sex offender and will not be given the possibility of parole. He was sentenced in November after pleading guilty in August, Kolkovich said. He was also found guilty of gross sexual imposition, five counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, and five counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, which is an Ohio crime that involves material showing a minor involved in sexual activity. Their victims are under the age of 13 and the abuse occurred between December 2011 to December 2015 and April to May 2024, according to Fox 8. She often posted photos with small children on her Facebook page, as well as pictures of her running and of her dog. Her latest photo is a picture of her in what appears to be a public bathroom in May 2024.

Sarah Montgomery: 'Anger and disbelief' after mother's murder
A woman who helped organise a vigil in memory of a mother-of-two who died at her home in Donaghadee, County Down, on Saturday, has said there is "shock, anger and disbelief" in the Montgomery, 27, who was heavily pregnant with her third child, was found seriously injured before being pronounced dead at her of people attended the vigil in Donaghadee on Wednesday evening.A man appeared in Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with her murder. The crowds of people gathered at the resource centre in Donaghadee for a short walk to Sarah's home at Elmfield Walk.A minute silence was held outside the property. About 50 people also gathered for a vigil in Guildhall Square in Londonderry on Wednesday evening to remember Sarah.

Swindon road cordon remains as murder investigation continues
A police cordon remains in place as detectives continue to investigate the suspected murder of a man in his victim was taken to hospital for urgent treatment following the incident on Manchester Road in Swindon at about 05:10 on Wednesday, but later died from his injuries.
