Appearing on Strictly Come Dancing doesn't alway mean that celebrities will be catapulted to extraordinary fame after taking to the glitzy dance floor.
However, the same can't be said for last year's runner-up JB Gill, who is going from strength-to-strength where his career is concerned, with the former JLS singer confirming another TV gig, this time with Channel 5.
The much-loved star who recently dazzled fans with his incredible moves is being snapped up for all sorts it would seem, with JB turning his hand to farming and presenting, a stark contrast from his JLS touring days.
Now, he's switching things up once more, fronting his own Channel 5 one-off documentary on a topic that may surprise some viewers.
JB has been confirmed as the host for Britain's Favourite Service Station, in which he will explore the most enduring roadside havens up and down the country, with some considered to somewhat of a national institution.

A source told The Sun: "Taking the mickey aside, this is a show that will likely pull in quite impressive viewing figures. After all, service stations are a bit of a guilty pleasure for most of us.
"Though it is still a bit of a surprise to see someone has come up with the idea of dedicating an entire show to examining them. Even more surprising is the fact they've roped in a former pop star as the host, but execs seem to think it will work."

JB, who appears to be a hot favourite at the moment when it comes to television took part in Strictly last December, coming in second place with pro-dancer Lauren Oakley during the 22nd series.
Despite being a runner-up, JB's competition wasn't without difficulty after his first professional partner Amy Dowden had to bow out early, handing over the reigns to Lauren, after suffering health complications.

JB and Amy had been just six weeks into the competition when she needed to exit early on doctors grounds after collapsing backstage and suffering illness.
Since then, he's been focusing on his TV career with a number of hosting slots on BBC's The One Show.
In the new hour long documentary, JB will be at the hosting helm alone, journeying the UK motorways in hope of establishing the best road pit-stop for fans.
The show is in partnership with a legitimate survey by consumer advocates Which? as JB attempts to identifying Britain's best and worst service stations with a bottom to top ranking system.
Channel 5 is yet to confirm further details for Britain's Favourite Service Station which will be landing in the weeks ahead.

Love Island's Amber Davies hits out at 'selfish' audience member in middle of musical

Love Island winner Amber Davies spoke out over a 'selfish' audience member at a performance of the Great Gatsby musical this week, with her issuing a warning to fans Theatre star Amber Davies hit out at a "selfish" member of the audience in the middle of the Great Gatsby musical this weekend. The Love Island winner shared a message for fans after someone "ruined" part of her performance. ‌ Amber, 28, is among the cast of the West End production of the acclaimed show, based on the novel of the same name, at the London Coliseum. The actor plays Jordan Baker, whose songs include New Money, in the limited run. ‌ During last night's show, Amber issued a warning to those attending the musical after being distracted by someone in the audience. It comes after Taylor Swift sparks engagement rumours as fans spot Travis Kelce's lock screen ‌ READ MORE: Strictly's Anton Du Beke shares heartbreak over wife's 'cruel and inexplicable' diagnosis Amber filmed the message on her Instagram Story whilst backstage. The performer, who is starring alongside the likes of Corbin Bleu and Rachel Tucker in the show, hit out over "selfish" behaviour from some people in theatres. She said in the video: "This is a PSA. The closer you are to the stage when you're watching a show the more obvious it is when you're filming. This is the entire stalls." She then clarified: "If you're filming in the stalls we can see you!" ‌ The Dancing on Ice star went on to share what she can see whilst performing, saying: "From someone who's on stage, I just wanna tell you a little bit about what we see. So we see like a dark canvas and outlines of people's heads." Amber continued: "If you're filming, the reflection from the lights bounce straight back off your ... the back of your iPhone onto us on stage. So it is the one thing we can see." She then criticised one particular audience member. ‌ She said: "So to the woman filming New Money tonight - you distracted absolutely everybody on that stage. And not only that, it takes us out of the Gatsby world because you're filming and you've basically ruined that moment for everybody else who was watching the show tonight." Amber urged: "Please don't be selfish. Stop filming shows." She added: "If someone is filming during a show know that this is the consequences that it has to the people on stage and tell them to stop because honestly it's annoying." The former islander continued: "Also, I single-handedly will count how many seats back you are and tell our stage manager where you're sitting and what colour hair you've got, and trust me, in the interval they will come and ask you to delete the footage so you've basically done it for nothing." Amber concluded the message by telling her followers that she would be returning to stage shortly for the second act, confirming that she was filming the video in an interval. She said: "Okay, I'm gonna enjoy act two now."

Strictly's Stacey Dooley warns daughter 'they'll take me off you' after ordeal with Kevin

Strictly's Stacey Dooley warns daughter 'they'll take me off you' after ordeal with Kevin Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton got into a relationship after winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, and now, the couple share their young daughter Minnie, who caused a 'drama' for her parents this weekend Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley (Image: Helen Murray) Stacey Dooley had to issue a warning to her daughter Minnie on Saturday morning, after the two-year-old went through "a couple of meltdowns" before heading into London with her parents to promote their roles in 2:22 - A Ghost Story. ‌ Stacey and her partner Kevin Clifton, who met and fell in love after lifting Strictly Come Dancing's Glitterball Trophy together in 2018, were due to appear on Zoe Ball's BBC Radio 2 show in the afternoon to discuss their UK-wide tour of the West End hit. ‌ However, the day didn't get off to the best start, with Zoe explaining to listeners that her guests had been through "a dramatic morning", leading to "lots of people running around" behind-the-scenes trying to rectify the situation before they went on air. ‌ Welcoming the couple onto her show, Zoe shared: "I am thrilled to say that they've just about made it. But it's been a dramatic morning for our guests today, an awful lot has happened, but they're here now, it's Dooley and Clifton!" The poster for 2.22: A Ghost Story UK tour, starring the couple (Image: DAILY EXPRESS) Following their introduction, Stacey candidly opened up about the ordeal the trio had been through to make it onto Radio 2. The documentary filmmaker admitted: "I've just been painfully predictable this morning." ‌ The problems started when Minnie refused to have a shower, with Stacey confessing she had to issue her daughter with a warning, as her face was covered in food. She recalled: "We've had a couple of meltdowns at about 8 o'clock this morning, which was really fun, and then we didn't want to shower, 'I don't want a morning shower', and I said, 'you've got ravioli around your face baby, they'll take me off you!'" The drama didn't stop there, as when Stacey, Kevin, and Minnie arrived at Broadcasting House, the BBC presenter "got stuck" while trying to make her way up to Zoe's radio studio. ‌ Kevin Clifton pictured with his and Stacey's daughter, Minnie Stacey continued: "And then I got stuck in the stair lift, and your amazing producer came to save me," to which Zoe responded by telling Kevin: "There was lots of people running around past the glass Kev, and I was like, 'what's going down'?" Sharing his version of events, professional dancer Kevin said: "They were all looking for Stacey's phone, because she lost her phone downstairs, and, as we know, Stace will not get in a lift and we're, like, on the top floor of the building here. ‌ "So they had to find some secret passage to get Stacey up the stairs, it's been a real journey to get here." Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley first met on Strictly in 2018 (Image: BBC) Stacey cheekily interjected by joking: "I'm no hassle! I'm no hassle," with Zoe quipping: "You knew this when you got involved Kev, you knew what you were getting involved in..." Article continues below Kevin laughed and replied: "Yeah, I've got these two manic redheads who are making my life really dramatic!" 2:22 - A Ghost Story will mark the first time Stacey and Kevin have worked together since their Strictly stint, taking on the roles of Jenny and Sam in the supernatural thriller. Former Strictly pro Kevin originally shared the news via an Instagram photo of the couple, which he posted alongside the caption: "Day 1 back working with this little fella again. Last time was 7 years ago @sjdooley @222aghoststory."

Sue Radford stops daughter Katie from visiting home with young son as she admits 'struggles'

Sue Radford was seen giving her daughter Katie some "tough love" in the latest episode of 22 Kids and Counting Sue Radford prevented her daughter Katie from popping round to their family home with her little lad in the latest instalment of their reality programme as part of her "tough love" approach. ‌ The Radford family first found fame when they appeared in their own Channel 5 show 22 Kids & Counting where they document the life of their large and ever-growing family. ‌ During the most recent episode, viewers saw new mum Katie struggle with motherhood as she relocated from an 11-bedroom family mansion where she resided alongside her numerous brothers and sisters, to a cramped flat. ‌ She gave birth to her first baby Ronnie with her partner of six years Connor Carter last October, though things haven't been entirely plain sailing for the 22-year-old. During the programme, she revealed her battles with night-time feeding sessions every two hours alongside feeling "isolated" and regretting her decision to move out, reports the Mirror. ‌ Shortly after welcoming her son Ronnie Hudson Carter into the world, the pair relocated to a compact flat situated just two hours away from the family residence. Katie has been struggling particularly since her partner Connor returned to his job. Discussing the circumstances, she explained: "A baby takes up a lot of room, there just wouldn't have been room in my mum and dad's house for us all. ‌ "Last night, he woke up every two hours... I don't think anything prepares you for having your own, I didn't expect this to be me. Connor went back to work today and it is harder, you've got to do everything yourself. "It is a lot harder living on your own. At home you've got your parents and your siblings to help, whereas when you're at your own place you've got to do it on your own. I wasn't prepared for any of that - the loneliness." ‌ Katie revealed she particularly yearns for her mum and dad and confessed it feels as though she's completely alone. Later in the programme, Katie admits she longs for the hectic atmosphere of living at home surrounded by her numerous brothers and sisters. The mum-of-one had been popping back to the family house almost daily, but mum Sue felt compelled to dish out some "tough love". She explained: "She was coming round every single day, 8:30am and then not going back until 6pm - I think she was missing everybody." She continued: "Katie coming round to the house every day is not really gonna help her settle into being in the flat on her own. Trying to help her, there's got to be a bit of tough love there." One scene captures Katie strolling with Ronnie as she remarks: "My mum's text - said I can't come round very strange." She reveals: "Memories like Ronnie's first smile or his first giggle, I'd like to share the moments with all my family, they're missing out on that. Some days I do regret moving from home."
