Fans Confused by NFL's Tua Tagovailoa Post on Friday
During the 2024 season, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed a career-high six games due to injuries, including a concussion sustained in the team's Week 2 loss against the Buffalo Bills.

However, in 11 other starts, Tagovailoa put up some solid numbers, completing 291-of-399 passes for 2,867 yards, 19 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 101.4 passer rating, while his 72.9 completion percentage led the NFL.
Although he missed time, many players are aware of Tagovailoa's talent. On Friday, in an X post, the NFL revealed that the quarterback earned the No. 91 spot on "The Top 100 players of 2025" list.
However, not everybody agrees with this placement, as many social media users flocked to the comments section to either disagree with or question the list altogether.
"This list was already trash to begin with, but including Tua in the top 100? What the hell are we doing?" Asked one.

"LOL Tua? How many qbs gonna be on here then, 14? 15?" Said another.
"Respectfully, the players are wrong Tired of pretending Tua is all that," a third added.
A fourth said, "I'm a Dolphan and a fan of Tua but IMO he doesn't belong in the top 100."
"Nah I don't think so," a fifth said.
"There's nothing more pointless than NFLs Top 100 Players of each season. Why is this such a thing and when did this nonsense start?" Said another.

Now, Tagovailoa has the chance to change a lot of people's minds if he can stay healthy and help the Dolphins win their first playoff game since the 2000 season, when they defeated the Indianapolis Colts in the wild-card round.

The expectations aren't all too high, though, as ESPN BET gives the Dolphins the third-best odds (+700) to win the AFC East, something which they haven't accomplished since 2008.
