O Kadhal Kanmani
O Kadhal Kanmani or OK Kanmani is a 2015 musical romantic drama film directed by Mani Ratnam. Featuring Nithya Menen and Dulquer Salmaan, the film is about two free-spirited individuals who are very much in love but do not endorse marriage as they choose to live-in together. Touted to be one of the love stories catering to the new generation, O Kadhal Kanmani features music by AR Rahman and cast including Prakash Raj, Leela Samson and others.
Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi
Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi is a Tamil romantic comedy drama by director Balaji Mohan. The film is adapted from the director's short film by the same name. HIT 3 script entirely original, accusations are false, says Nani
The actor files counter affidavit denying plagiarism allegations made by a Tamil writer. Actor Nani has filed a counter affidavit in response to a recent petition by Tamil scriptwriter and author Vimalavelan, who alleged that the actor's recent Telugu film HIT: The Third Case was plagiarised from his script (Agent 11) and novel (Agent V). Nani claimed that the accusations are 'false, misleading and unfounded'. Since Vimalavelan's script is written in Tamil, Nani and the other respondents stated that they are not familiar with the language and have requested for its official English translation so that they can give an effective and informed response on the alleged similarities between both scripts. They also claimed that the similarities pointed out by Vimalavelan are standard tropes and recurring motifs in the thriller, crime, and investigative genres. 'These elements are not unique, distinctive, or original to the plaintiff's work, nor are they protectable under copyright law,' stated the affidavit while opposing the writer's request for an interim injunction. Vimalavelan had claimed that he sent the synopsis of his script to Nani's mail ID that was mentioned on his Facebook page in 2022, and that's how the actor accessed his script. Ajay Devgn Reacts To Son Of Sardaar 2 Clashing with Kajol's Sarzameen: 'We Don't…'
Ajay Devgn returns as Jassi in Son of Sardaar 2, releasing July 25, same day as Kajol's Sarzameen on OTT. He addressed the clash and Sonakshi Sinha's absence. Ajay Devgn returns as Jassi, 13 years after Son of Sardaar was first released in 2012. The film is slated for release on July 25, the same day as his wife Kajol's Sarzameen. The only difference is that while Ajay's film is headed for the theatres, Sarzameen releases on JioHotstar. At the film's trailer launch in Mumbai, Ajay exclusively addressed the clash while speaking to News18 Showsha. He also shared why the makers didn't include Sonakshi Sinha's cameo, even though she was the leading lady in the 2012 film. 'That is on OTT. So there is no clash," Ajay playfully said, while talking about Kajol's Sarzameen releasing on the same day as Son of Sardaar. He further added, 'We do not discuss work a lot at home. Actually, not at all. We are just like a normal family at home and work is something we hardly discuss. You have reminded me that her film is also releasing on 25th. And I am sure she doesn't remember that my film is releasing on the same date. She knows I know but it's not that important. We don't take work home." The actor also spoke about why the makers didn't include Sonakshi Sinha's cameo in the film. He told us, 'The story moves on, and so we needed the cast to move ahead. That was the plan." Ajay Devgn also commented on the ongoing Marathi versus Hindi language debate in Maharashtra.
