Samsung expected to stop debuting the newest iteration of Android with the Galaxy S series
The Galaxy S flagship series will now receive updates to One UI X.5. The content will be "more substantial" than what the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip series receives, and will include AI features, software enhancements, and new UI/UX designs. The five to six months between the release of the latest generation of the Fold/Flip models and the Galaxy S line will allow Samsung to refine the latest One UI update, allowing the Galaxy S series to be the first to receive One UI X.5 starting with One UI 8 .5 with the Galaxy S26 line.
What PhoneArt is saying is that instead of releasing major changes with the new One UI update debuting with the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip, Samsung will hold off releasing them and reserve these changes for the One UI X.5 iteration, which will debut with the release of the flagship Galaxy S series.

The leaker makes a point of stating that Samsung will continue to consider the Galaxy S line the flagship priority. This is why Samsung won't introduce all of the new content it has for its latest One UI release until One UI X.5 is released with the Galaxy S series. To reiterate, typically, you'd expect One UI 8 , debuting with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 , Galaxy Z Flip 7 , and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE to have all of the new cool features and content.
In other words, Samsung will delay the release of some new features that you'd normally expect to see with the debut of the next build of One UI until the One UI X.5 release that will be included with the release of Samsung's next Galaxy S series flagship line.
This will be confusing to some Samsung Galaxy fans. What we can tell you is to expect the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 to be released next year with One UI 9. This means that Android 17 will debut on the Fold 8/Flip 8 next year.

Unlike Tinder, Bumble, or Match, which helps women find a date, Tea uses its anonymous community of females to find out if there are any red flags that should make a woman put the kibosh on a possible first date. The developer of Tea says that the app provides a level of security that other dating apps don't offer. Because women share their dating experiences with the men they dated, the app can deliver a warning about an upcoming date. The app allows users to run background checks to see whether someone they want to date is on a sex offender list or has a criminal record. This makes Tea the perfect "companion app" for any of the dating apps a female might use. To make sure that only women are subscribed to the app, Tea asks for a selfie to verify a potential subscriber's gender. This is done to prevent subscribers from engaging in a catfish scheme where a person uses the pictures of another person and claims to be that individual. Keep in mind that much of the information that you look up in the Tea app can be found elsewhere. After all, there is a Facebook Group titled, "Are we dating the same guy?" And while the latter group also allows women to exchange notes about their dates, the Tea app has a major advantage over its rivals. Its website notes that it has over 1.6 million users, increasing the possibility that information about a potential date can be found on Tea. It also makes it more likely that there is information about a possible date from multiple women. More information about a person a woman might date means increasing the odds that she can make an informed decision. According to CBS News, this past Friday, Tea was the subject of a data breach as a digital storage system was accessed by attackers. The storage system contained information from before February 2024, including selfies. The hackers were able to view 60,000 images from posts, comments, and direct messages. In a statement, the company said, "Tea has engaged third-party cybersecurity experts and is working around the clock to secure its systems. The wait is over, Samsung's next generation of foldables is now available. That means the end of the pre-order perks, but you can still get some extras. Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are available with $200 Amazon Gift Cards (no more free storage upgrade, though). We have a detailed review if you want to do a deep dive before committing. If you decide to get one, you may want to also grab a case to protect your shiny new foldable. The Z Fold7 case no longer holds an S Pen (remember: support was removed), but it does have a grip. It's available in transparent and gray. The Z Flip7 cases offer a stylish leather option (Kindsuit) or a more playful look (Flip Suit). Of course, this year Samsung offers the more affordable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, which starts at $200 less than the premium Z Flip7, though this is with less memory.
