Malaika Arora scolds 16-year-old contestant over inappropriate dance moves
Bollywood actor and reality TV judge Malaika Arora took a firm stand against inappropriate behaviour on 'Hip Hop India' Season 2 after scolding a 16-year-old contestant for making suggestive dance moves during his performance.
The incident, which aired on March 14, involved contestant Naveen Shah from Uttar Pradesh. During his audition, Naveen Shah directed several inappropriate gestures, including winking and blowing kisses, towards Malaika, 51, who immediately reprimanded him.
Visibly upset, Malaika confronted the teenage contestant after his performance, making it clear that she found his behaviour unacceptable.
'Please give me your mother's phone number,' she said. 'You are a 16-year-old kid. While dancing, he is looking at me and winking, (blowing) flying kisses.'
A video of the moment quickly spread across social media, sparking widespread debate. Many users applauded Malaika for calling out inappropriate behaviour on a public platform.
Remo D'Souza, the show's co-judge and a renowned choreographer, tried to lighten the situation with humour, asking the contestant whether he was more like his mother or father. However, the issue did not go unnoticed by other contestants, with one commenting, 'It was right to scold him. He did it in front of her?'
To further address the situation, the contestant's father was brought on stage. Speaking about his son's behaviour, the father admitted, 'He looks innocent, but he isn't. He keeps chatting with girls throughout the night.'
Malaika's response garnered overwhelming support from netizens, who praised her for standing her ground.
'She's right… this is needed for this 16-year-old child,' one user commented. Another added, 'Malaika is older than his mother, maybe.'
However, some users questioned the double standards in public criticism, noting that similar behaviour by female contestants often goes unnoticed. 'Teenage girls do the same things on social media and nobody talks about it,' one user pointed out.
Malaika Arora is no stranger to dance reality television. She has judged several high-profile shows, including 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,' 'India's Best Dancer,' and 'India's Got Talent.' The show's producers have not yet commented on the incident.

Peacemaker season 2 trailer reveals John Cena versus alternate self and viral Dirty Dancing tribute
San Diego Comic-Con got a dose of peace on Saturday as John Cena appeared in full costume for HBO Max's Peacemaker Season 2 panel in Hall H. He was joined by series creator and DC Studios co-chair James Gunn, along with cast members Frank Grillo, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows. The panel debuted the new Season 2 trailer, which shows Peacemaker traveling through a portal to an alternate dimension where 'the grass is greener.' Rejected by Holland's Emilia Harcourt, he escapes into this new universe, triggering inter-dimensional chaos. Grillo's Rick Flag Sr., head of the covert A.R.G.U.S., searches for Peacemaker after he killed his son Rick Flag Jr. in The Suicide Squad. The panel also revealed changes to the series' iconic opening credits, which went viral in Season 1 for its quirky dance number. Gunn explained, 'We're not trying to one-up it. It's bigger and has a different vibe — new characters, new dancers.' Jennifer Holland shared that the Season 2 routine pays homage to Dirty Dancing. 'I asked the universe to let me do the lift,' she said. 'And I got to do it — it's amazing.' Grillo added with a laugh, 'I started off reluctantly dancing, and now I'm the best dancer on stage.' Season 2 of Peacemaker premieres Aug. 21 on HBO Max and will include eight episodes. It arrives more than three years after the first season, during which Gunn and Peter Safran became DC Studios' co-CEOs, rebooting the franchise with Superman and Creature Commandos. Cena reprises his role as the ultra-patriotic mercenary Christopher Smith, introduced in 2021's The Suicide Squad. Most recently, Peacemaker appeared in Gunn's Superman as a guest on a conservative talk show.

‘The Night Manager' returns with steamy Colombia-set sequel and fresh Latin cast
After vanishing for nearly a decade, The Night Manager is back, and it's hotter, darker, and deadlier than ever. Season 2 of the acclaimed spy saga has ditched cold European glamour for the tropical intensity of Colombia, with six brand-new episodes soaked in local colour, corruption, and blood-soaked intrigue. The BBC and Prime Video series has shifted gears both visually and narratively, plunging Jonathan Pine, played again by Tom Hiddleston, into a gritty new operation against the backdrop of Colombia's fraught post-conflict reality. Production insiders say the country isn't just a setting, it's the pulse of the new story. From drug money to military scars, the region's raw political past heavily informs the plot, adding a brutal edge to the sleek espionage world viewers once knew. Behind the camera, director Georgi Banks-Davies and creator David Farr pushed for authenticity. The team embedded themselves in Colombia, filming in sweltering heat across Medellín, Cartagena, and the lush valleys around Girardot. Local festivals, cultural landmarks, and street-level chaos all made the cut. The cast and crew braved 50°C heat and 100% humidity, sweating through long days to capture the tension onscreen. Aside from returning leads Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman, Season 2 also introduces new blood. Diego Calva and Camila Morrone join the espionage mayhem, bringing a Latin American presence that feels not just timely but necessary. And though Hugh Laurie's villainous Roper is still missing from the trailer, rumours swirl about a surprise return. The Night Manager returns to BBC One in the UK and drops globally on Prime Video in 2026. With Colombia's grit front and centre, this sequel is going to be a reawakening.
