But just over a week later, the teenage superstar was celebrating another major milestone as he graduated from SCHOOL.
Following his maiden podium in Montreal, Antonelli returned home to Casalecchio di Reno, Italy, to sit his final exams.
On Monday evening, the Mercedes rookie shared a picture on Instagram showing him wearing a celebratory green and red garland on his head.
He captioned the image, "promosso," which is Italian for "passed".

Reporters swarmed outside his school afterwards, eager to get a word with the rapidly rising F1 star.
He said: "I was fairly stressed, because I didn't have much time to study. But I did my best."
Antonelli has been juggling his academic studies with his duties as an F1 driver in the first half of the 2025 season, putting his life in the fast lane into overdrive.
His attendance at school meant he skipped the red carpet for the premiere of F1: The Movie in London.

Earlier this year Antonelli invited 25 of his classmates to join him at his home race in the Imola Grand Prix.
But now having completed his schooling he can fully prepare for the remaining 14 rounds of the F1 world championship.

So far he has notched up 63 points, 16 behind the driver he replaced at the Silver Arrows, Lewis Hamilton.
