Gangster Robert Kelbie hangs out Noel Gallagher backstage at Oasis tour
Gangster Robert Kelbie has been pictured hanging out with Oasis stars and A-list celebrities at the band's reunion gigs in Cardiff this week.
The 41-year-old fraudster, from Edinburgh, was pictured all smiles wearing a VIP pass as he rubbed shoulders backstage with Noel Gallagher, guitarist Gem Archer, and former Doctor Who star Matt Smith.
He also shared a video of himself on Instagram at the gig to the soundtrack of the Oasis hit Stay Young alongside the caption: "#oasis #oasismania what a great night. They're definitely a must see."
Kelbie, now living it up as a flashy boxing promoter, is a known enemy of caged cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson, 38.
Richardson is currently behind bars, while his associates - including the notorious Daniel Clan - are in a bloody turf war with Dubai-based Ross 'Miami' McGill and a group known as Tamo Junto.
Kelbie, who in 2012 admitted to a £145k mortgage fraud, previously met Noel at pal Tyson Fury's world title fight at Wembley Stadium in 2022.
He also hung out backstage with the rock star in January 2023, when he was pictured chatting to him. He had captioned that post "Main man" alongside an electric guitar emoji.
Then in 2024 Kelbie was again pictured with Noel and boxer Josh Taylor at a swanky event.
Previously an underworld source told the Record: 'Seeing Kelbie hanging out with Noel Gallagher you would think he was a rock star himself. They know each other from watching boxing before.
'Robert is well connected in that world so he's often to be found hanging out with celebs. Who says crime doesn't pay?'
Kelbie was shot in the back outside a Bannatyne's Health Club in Edinburgh in 2010.
In 2013, a volley of bullets were fired at the hood's home, which was fortified with spiked railings and CCTV cameras.
He was again targeted by a shooter in Ratho Station in September 2016.
His new red carpet lifestyle comes as Scotland's gangland war involving enemy Mark Richardson explodes.
The ongoing feud was sparked after Richardson's men bought £500k of cocaine from McGill with fake cash. Homes, cars and businesses belonging to associates of Richardson have been hit in a series of firebombings - with enforcers also going after the Glasgow Daniel crime clan.
Police have arrested 52 people so far in connection with the escalating turf war.

The 60-year-old had stepped away from hosting the BBC cooking competition last year after a number of historical complaints came to light. There have been fresh claims about the TV presenter from 50 more people to the corporation including allegations he groped one MasterChef worker and pulled his trousers down in front of another, BBC News said. A university student has claimed he reached under her skirt and pinched her bottom in a nightclub, and a junior worker alleged he dropped his trousers in front of her while he was not wearing any underwear. Gregg Wallace co-presented MasterChef until last year (Ian West/PA) Production firm Banijay previously said Wallace is 'committed to fully co-operating' with the external review while his lawyers have previously strongly denied 'he engages in behaviour of a sexually harassing nature', according to BBC News. Some of the more recent claims include a MasterChef worker who said she tried to complain about comments she alleged he made about her body in 2022, and a former policeman who said he tried to raise concerns after he allegedly witnessed Wallace making inappropriate sexual comments at a charity event in 2023. BBC News reported the majority of the 50 people had said he made inappropriate sexual comments, with 11 women accusing him of inappropriate sexual behaviour, such as groping and touching. BBC News also said it has not seen the final Banijay report but it is understood the presenter has been sacked. Earlier on Tuesday, the former greengrocer claimed he had been cleared of the 'most serious and sensational accusations' against him ahead of the report examining his alleged misconduct. In a statement posted on his Instagram account, he said: 'I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience. I was tried by media and hung out to dry well before the facts were established. 'The full story of this incredible injustice must be told and it is very much a matter of public interest.' He also said he recognises that some of his humour and language was inappropriate 'at times' and apologised for this. Wallace started out as a greengrocer before he shot to fame fronting BBC shows including Inside The Factory, Supermarket Secrets, as well as MasterChef, Celebrity MasterChef and MasterChef: The Professionals. The most recent series of MasterChef: The Professionals continued to air last year amid allegations against Wallace, but two MasterChef celebrity Christmas specials were pulled from the BBC's schedule in December 2024. At the time, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said she would look to impose new standards in the creative industry amid the allegations. A BBC spokesperson said: 'Banijay UK instructed the law firm Lewis Silkin to run an investigation into allegations against Gregg Wallace. 'We are not going to comment until the investigation is complete and the findings are published.' Banijay UK declined to comment on Wallace's comments.

And the claims come after Wallace, 60, stepped down as MasterChef presenter last November. He exited the show after 13 people accused him of making inappropriate sexual comments. And other recent claims include a 19-year-old MasterChef worker who says she tried to complain about Wallace's comments about her body in 2022. The BBC said many of the women were young freelancers who felt unable to complain about Wallace's behaviour at the time amid fears it would hamper their careers. But one - 'Alice' - said she voiced concerns to bosses but claims they were dismissed. She worked on MasterChef between 2011 and 2013 when she was in her 20s. At the time, the show was produced by Shine, a company now owned by Banijay. She alleged that Wallace once asked her into his dressing room, saying he needed help getting into a black-tie outfit. She claimed he pushed her down onto a sofa, pulled his trousers down and told her he wasn't wearing any underwear, the BBC said. Another MasterChef worker, Sophie, claims she was groped by the presenter at a wrap party at the end of the 2013 series. She described the incident - which she claims happened as she was talking to Wallace and then co-host John Torode - he was about as 'a full-handed squeeze'. She added: 'I turned around and it was Gregg.' There is no suggestion Mr Torode was aware of the incident. Again, the woman feared complaints would be ignored. Esther claims he then says he climbed into her bed and fell asleep - prompting her to sleep at the edge of the bed, with her clothes on. She claims that - when he woke up - Wallace put his hand on her bottom and commented that she had a 'nice arse'. She ordered him to leave, and he did, it was reported. Esther did not complain at the time, but has contributed to the Banijay inquiry. Yesterday, Wallace said: 'I will not go quietly. I will not be cancelled for convenience. But a cameraman, who worked on the BBC show Eat Well For Less in 2016, said he heard Wallace make inappropriate comments in front of the production team. This is alleged to have included asking a gay female director about her 'lesbian clothing'. He said: 'It's not banter, it's not how you should behave in a professional workplace,' the BBC reportded. A recent report into the BBC found that a small number of its stars and managers 'behave unacceptably' at work, and that bosses often fail to tackle them. In response, the broadcaster said it would introduce reforms, and its chairman Samir Shah said he would draw 'a line in the sand'. Banijay has said that it will not comment on the accusations until the report is published.

The 31-year-old's third album, which was released in February this year, has sold 53,000 copies this year according to the Official Charts Company, beating Swift's Lover (Live From Paris) (2023), which sold 46,800 vinyl copies in just one week in 2025 after a January reissue. Fender saw the biggest opening release of his career with the album, which was also named the fastest-selling vinyl album of the century by a British artist when it sold 43,000 copies in its first seven days on sale. Lover (Live from Paris) became Swift's 13th UK number one album back in February, overtaking Madonna to become the female artist with the most UK number one albums.
