Hartselle man arrested for sodomy, sexual abuse of child under 12
Court documents say Phillip Jerome Cartee was indicted for first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
According to the indictment filed in the Morgan County February 2025 term, Cartee engaged in 'deviant' sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 12.
For Cartee's sexual abuse charges, the indictment says that before July 1, 2006, Cartee subjected someone under the age of 12 to sexual contact.
Morgan County Jail records show that he was arrested on March 22 and held without bond pending an Aniah's Law hearing.

I-225 closed after deadly single-vehicle crash
DENVER (KDVR) — Police are on the scene of a crash that occurred on Sunday evening, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.
