Aldi has declared a strict one-per-person limit on a new £14.95 item that was launched in one of its Manchester branches today.
Customers will only be permitted to purchase one of the store's new limited-edition Supernova Champagne bottles, which were unveiled today at Aldi's Bury New Road outlet ahead of Oasis' upcoming Manchester concerts.
The release of the £14.95 bottles coincides with Oasis kicking off their reunion tour on Friday in Cardiff, at the Principality Stadium.
As the Gallagher brothers prepare for their first hometown gig since their split this week, these commemorative bottles have been exclusively released at Aldi's Bury New Road - just a stone's throw away from Heaton Park where the brothers will first perform on Friday, July 11.

With the bottles in limited supply, shoppers are encouraged to act quickly to secure one of these celebratory drinks. However, Aldi hopes that by enforcing a one-per-customer rule on the bottles, it will allow as many Oasis fans as possible to get their hands on the drink.
The new bottles have been crafted using Aldi's award-winning Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut, with the bottle receiving a new 'Supernova' design to commemorate Oasis's well-loved Britpop hit.

With the bottles unveiled in-store today, July 7, Oasis fans have already been flocking to the store's Bury New Road branch to pick up one of the keepsakes themselves.
Manchester local Derrick Smith was among the eager fans, sharing: "I left at quarter past six and waited an hour before the store opened – the bottle looks amazing."
Other enthusiasts have also reported making journeys from beyond Greater Manchester to snag the exclusive beverage. Devoted Oasis fan Jack Blake remarked: "I drove from London for the Champagne after I saw the post. I thought, I must try and get a bottle!"

On the occasion of the release, Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK's Chief Commercial Officer, expressed her excitement: "We're thrilled to launch Supernova Champagne, a special, limited-edition rebrand of our award-winning Veuve Monsigny. We're offering shoppers a unique and memorable way to raise a glass to this iconic moment in music history."
The introduction of the celebratory tipple coincides with Aldi's Bury New Road store in Prestwich undergoing a temporary transformation to 'Aldeh', adopting the Mancunian twang ahead of Oasis' much-anticipated gig at Heaton Park.
Starting today, Aldi's Supernova Champagne is up for grabs exclusively at the Bury New Road, Manchester store, priced at £14.95, while supplies last.

Oasis at Wembley: Timings, travel and tour dates, as band rock London for first time in 16 years

After more than 16 years, Oasis will return to the capital. Following a run of homecoming gigs in Manchester's Heaton Park, the group, fronted by Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel, will take to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium on Friday. The rock band announced their highly anticipated reunion tour in August last year, after Noel quit in 2009 after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. With five nights scheduled, the group posted door and stage timings on their Instagram account with an hour-by-hour breakdown of the evening. Here are the timings: 2pm - The East Village Fan Zone will open, serving food and drinks. Fans will need to present a valid stadium ticket to enter. The stadium's bag policy also applies to anyone visiting the fan zone. Alcohol will be served until 6.30pm and the zone closes at 7pm 5pm - Gates open: Wembley advises arriving as early as possible to get through security. 6pm - Support act, rock band Cast. 7pm - Support act, singer Richard Ashcroft. 8.15pm - Oasis will take the stage for a two-hour set. Getting there: All three rail/underground stations serving Wembley Stadium are open. Wembley Park Station (London Underground Jubilee and Metropolitan lines) Wembley Stadium Station (Chiltern Railways) Wembley Central Station (London Underground Bakerloo line, London Overground, London Midland and Southern lines If you're an Oasis fan from overseas, you'll be able to get to Wembley Stadium from any of these international airports by train - Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, London City Airport, Luton Airport or London St Pancras Station for Eurostar. The group kicked off their Oasis Live '25 world tour on July 4 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, receiving five star reviews from critics at The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Times. They are playing Wembley for five nights this summer - 25, 26, 30 July, 2, 3 August. If you missed them this time around , they'll be back on the 27 and 28 September. The group has also dominated the UK album charts, with three top five albums, according to the Official Charts Company. While fans were excited at the reunion, some were outraged after some standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing. After their final London gig on August 3, the group will move north to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium before performing at Dublin's Croke Park. The band will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America. Formed in Manchester in 1991, the band was led by lead guitarist Noel and lead vocalist Liam during their 18 years together. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994. They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever. Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.
