Vanna White Shares Sweet Childhood Photo with Fans on 'Wheel of Fortune'
After taking fans (and Wheel of Fortune cameras) on a tour of her hometown, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the television personality, 68, revealed a never-before-seen photo and video from her childhood.
According to TV Insider, the throwback media pieces were first shared at the end of the Wednesday, May 7, episode of Wheel of Fortune. The show and White later shared them in a joint Instagram post.

The post included a clip from the show in which White discussed that the black-and white family photo she was presenting was taken in 1961.
"My family, my brother Chip, my mother Joan, my father Herbert and myself," explained White about the throwback image.
In the photo, the television personality is seen wearing an adorable dress with her hair pinned to one side as her brother sits beside her.
She then showed a video, presumably from Easter, where she was seen picking an egg from the bottom of a tree and handing it to her mother.
'You know, isn't it funny that I'm still wearing those pretty dresses? And it's still purple," said White. Fans gushed over the sweet image and clip in the comment section of the Instagram post.
"Isn't she just precious!! Look at that cute little dress!! A beautiful lady!!!❤️❤️," one comment read. Another fan wrote, "Before I even got to the last slide I said to myself "aww even then Vanna was wearing cute little dresses" and then she said it herself in the video lol. So cute 🥰."
A third comment read, "Cute little girl, in a cute little lavender dress.💜💜🙋♀️🙋♀️🙎♀️🙎♀️."
White has been a hostess on the Wheel of Fortune since 1982. She famously turned the letters while former host Pat Sajak guided contestants as they spun the wheel and guessed the letters of a phrase for over four decades.

New Haight-Ashbury record store aims to revive San Francisco punk scene
In Haight-Ashbury, where counterculture echoes through the streets, a new record store is turning up the volume on punk. More than just a shop for vinyl, tapes and CDs, I Hate Records is carving out a space for the city's punk community. Run by artists Cody Azumi and Pretty Sims, the store stays as unapologetically raw and DIY as the music on its shelves. "One of my favorite things about punk rock is the ability and freedom to question authority," Azumi said. "You know, you can order anything you want on the internet," Sims said. "But I think that actually having that face-to-face, real conversation about it, and learning what people in San Francisco think punk is, is really important." The shop, which also operates as an independent record label, aims to welcome those unfamiliar with punk, inviting them to learn and experience the scene. "I would love it if people came into the store and gave it a chance and learned about the ethos and whatnot," Azumi said. "Because it is very angry music. You know, I think a lot of people have reasons to be pissed off right now." That DIY ethos extends to the very walls of the store, with a lens toward social justice. "This shop means a lot to me," one customer said. "I think it's a capstone. It was built on a lot of hard work. And I think it's really a pillar of the punk community. Got a lot of cool records, and it just feels like home when I'm in here." That's exactly the experience Azumi and Sims hope to create. "It kind of just makes you feel a little bit better," Sims said. "Just to know that you have people around you who are supportive and who are into making art for a greater purpose, to just say what you feel, no matter what other people think." Each day, the shop stands as proof of punk's enduring roots in the Bay.

Tobey Maguire files for joint custody of son
Tobey Maguire has filed for joint custody of his son and Jennifer Meyer's son Otis. Nearly 10 years after the pair announced their split, Tobey – who also shares daughter Ruby, 18, with Jennifer – has filed a response to Jennifer's initial divorce filing from 2020, requesting joint legal and physical custody of their 15-year-old son.
