"This tour is a heartfelt thank-you to the fans who have shaped their journey.
"Don't miss this chance to experience Mew live one last time."
He is also part of the band Apparatjik, alongside Bassist Guy Berryman from Coldplay.
ALL CHANGE
Singer Jonas formed In A Better Place band Mew alongside Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen, bassist Johan Wohlert, and guitarist Bo Madsen formed in 1995.
Johan then left the band for a period between 2006 and 2013.
The musician previously released a statement on his band exit.
He told fans: "Dearest Frengers.
"[2025] marks the 30th anniversary of Mew! It's been quite a journey, that's brought me and my lovely band mates on countless adventures, for which I am eternally grateful.
"And none of it could have happened if not for you Frengers and your support. This is something I've never taken for granted, and never will.
"For me, this journey will be coming to an end."
He added: "I have come to the realisation that it's time for me personally to embark on a different journey, and focus on other creative projects.
"I am so happy that we get to play these farewell shows, and that I get to go on one last trip with my dear friends and co-founders Johan and Silas, as well as the Doc and Mads Wegner."
He finished off his message with the words "love Jonas."
OPENING UP
Jonas recently opened up about what he missed the most from when the band first started out three decades ago.
In a candid interview he said: "I think one thing I miss about myself is when I was a kid I'd go into a record store and I'd just like put on records from whatever, if the cover was interesting to me or something, there would be room for anything inside of me like no matter what it was I would find something appealing in it almost.
"And now I think my mind's a bit more closed off."
He added to echoesanddust.com: "That's something I'm working on, exposing myself to more things cause I used to do that all the time. I mean, when I was 14 myself and the guitar player went and watched Eraserhead by David Lynch.
"It's a long and tough film to watch when you're a kid, but we just sat through it and I think that exposing yourself to things that you might not immediately understand is something that you kind of lose a little bit with age, and I think that's something you gotta keep working at.
"Because otherwise your mind will start just closing up."
So that's something which we try and do more and more, but as for the band, I think in the beginning the band was just really, everyone was so thrilled that we could make this noise together and when you get older you obviously put bigger demands on your work, it has to be more than that.
"So it gets harder and harder to satisfy yourself, musically. That can be tough sometimes, but I think it's a necessary thing if you wanna keep growing and expanding the quality of what you do."

S**t happens. Being a mum is challenging. 'You never know if you're doing it right. The one thing I've learnt is the journey is more important than the destination. The process has to be enjoyable because life is really short.'

Emma Raducanu issues telling four-word response after being quizzed on Carlos Alcaraz relationship as romance rumours intensify
Emma Raducanu has finally addressed rumours surrounding her off-court connection with Carlos Alcaraz. The pair are due to partner in doubles at the US Open in August, but speculation about a possible bond beyond the tennis court has grown after Raducanu was seen supporting the Spanish star at the Queen's Club Championships earlier this month. Raducanu was seen supporting Alcaraz last Thursday and Saturday, sparking talk around Queen's that there might be 'something going on between them', as the pair were spotted laughing and joking together and arriving at the venue just minutes apart. Their most recent link-up came this week, with Alcaraz being confirmed as the latest global ambassador of Evian ahead of Wimbledon - the tournament's official water supplier since 2008. Raducanu also works with Evian, her collaborative work starting after she became the hottest property in British sport by winning the US Open in 2021, which led to her signing lucrative deals with the likes of Nike and Christian Dior. When asked whether they had discussed tactics for the US Open during the Evian event, the British No 1 said: 'No, it was fun yesterday. We were both on court with Evian. 'Yeah, we were just getting some volley practicing ahead of New York. Yeah, I'm really happy obviously to be playing with him. Yeah, we had a good time yesterday.' Later in the press conference, Raducanu was inevitably asked about the romance rumours, to which she smiled and said: 'We're just good friends.' The interview moderator then cut off further questions, prompting Raducanu to laugh and remark: 'Way to wrap up!' The two US Open champions - Raducanu won in 2021, Alcaraz a year later - are good friends, growing up together on the tour. 'He's so nice, very happy, amazing values and just a really positive light to be around,' said Raducanu about Alcaraz when asked how their bond began. 'I've known him for years. Wimbledon 2021 was the first time I started getting to know him. He was always playing the day before me, I would see him win and then I would have motivation to win and get myself into that position too. 'It was really cool to go through that tournament together and then I kept going through the US Open, we were staying in touch for the whole time and, yeah, it's nice. 'We have a good relationship still. He's obviously overtaken me a lot, but it's nice that we have that from a while ago.' Alcaraz, also 22, told Mail Sport at Queen's that Raducanu made him wait before agreeing to team up. 'Gotta keep them on their toes!' Raducanu joked. 'I had to ask my team if they thought I should play, but when he asked me, I was going to say yes, I just had to go through the formality of asking my coach.' Ahead of Wimbledon, Alcaraz clinched his second Queen's Club title with a thrilling 7–5, 6–7(5), 6–2 win over Jiri Lehecka last Sunday.

The page three girl who dated Steve Coogan and married into one of Britain's most illustrious dynasties: Lady Rothschild says she is still 'so proud' of her glamour past
When Loretta Basey married the heir to the Rothschild dynasty close to a decade ago, she not only captivated society but raised eyebrows after it emerged she was a former glamour model from Essex. But Lady Rothschild, as she has been officially known since taking her vows with her billionaire husband Nat in 2016, has never tried to shy away from her tabloid roots - and if anything, looks back in sheer delight at those days. 'I've been described as worse things,' the 34-year-old told The Telegraph in a rare interview. 'But on Page 3 – honestly, I really want to make this clear: I'm so proud to have been a Page 3 girl and I will always celebrate that achievement.' The mother-of-one these days is more into writing page turners than turning heads, with her hotly-tipped debut romance thriller, Finding Grace, set to hit the shelves next week. She describes it as her latest 'achievement', a word she also fondly attaches to her former career in front of the camera. 'I've worked really hard to do what I have – whether it's Page 3 or my book,' she explained, adding that she want to 'carry on achieving things.' It's a degree of ambition in the well-spoken Lady Rothschild that Alison Webster, The Sun's official Page 3 photographer, recognised was there right from the start. Alison knew Lady Rothschild as Elle Basey, a name she went by for her glamour modelling in lads' magazines and on Page 3. But for conventional work — at 5ft 8in tall, she was a touch on the short side for the catwalk, so this was largely hair modelling — she went by her real name, Loretta Basey. Speaking to MailOnline in 2016 prior to the couple's impeccable wedding at the Swiss ski resort of Klosters, Alison recalled: 'Elle was a great glamour model, a very beautiful girl with a fantastic figure, great boobs, small waist, good bum, and with the bluest eyes and lots of long, chestnut hair. 'Being a glamour model is more difficult than you may think. 'When you take your clothes off, every little blemish that you have is exposed and visible, but she had none.' Elle was also a 'very strong character', says Alison, 'a bright girl who was sure of herself and always in control. 'And she was ambitious. We'd sit with a glass of wine after a day's shoot and she'd tell me she wanted to make something more of herself. And I always felt that she would.' It was during this time in her life that Lady Rothschild came to meet award-winning actor and comedian Steve Coogan in the unlikeliest of ways. in 2011, in the guise of his comic creation Alan Partridge, divorcee Coogan guest-edited an edition of Loaded, the now defunct lads' magazine. A shoot ensured - and in one photograph, the actor was seen cupping Loretta's breasts in his hands. It certainly didn't harm his chances with the stunning model, with the couple falling hard for one another. Loretta shared his house in Lewes, East Sussex, for the best part of four years until 2014 and, according to one of her friends, she was 'in love with him for a time'. But meeting Coogan signalled the beginning of the end of her two-year stint as one of the most popular Page 3 girls, during which she appeared in The Sun more than 20 times. 'He wasn't keen on her continuing to do that kind of work,' says Webster. 'He guided her into giving it up.' Loretta looks back at her relationship with Coogan with nothing by fondness, but it was Eton-educated Nat Rothschild, 53 and heir to the European banking dynasty, who ultimately swept her off her feet. Nat became the 5th Baron Rothschild last February following the death of his father, Jacob, at the age of 87. Nat's mother Serena, a thoroughbred racehorse owner, died a few years previously in 2019, aged 84. Today Nat and Loretta - who are 19 years apart in age - live a gilded life between their superyacht and multiple homes in London, Wiltshire, Los Angeles and Klosters, with an estimated wealth of up to £40billion.
