Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, is a father of five children who is an Uber driver by profession. Jailed Soliman was already facing federal hate crime charges, and now faces additional legal consequences. On June 30, prosecutors announced new state-level charges against him, including first-degree murder and 66 additional counts tied to the attack.
The federal officials revealed that he was staying in the United States long after his visa had expired. Police said Soliman, who is Muslim, admitted to targeting the "Run for Their Lives" walk on Boulder's Pearl Street pedestrian mall due to his anger over participants' perceived support for Israel's war in Gaza. The weekly walk, attended by many Jewish community members, aimed to raise awareness for hostages taken by Hamas in the October 2023 attack on Israel.
During the assault, Soliman reportedly shouted 'Free Palestine' before unleashing violence. He now faces state charges tied to 29 victims, including 13 who suffered physical injuries, as well as animal cruelty charges related to a dog that was harmed in the attack. Federal prosecutors have not yet confirmed whether additional federal charges will be filed.

'Unjustified and unfounded': French couple detained for over 3 years on spy charges in Iran; foreign minister demands immediate release

France has strongly criticised Iran for holding two of its citizens on what it calls 'unjustified and unfounded' spy charges. The pair, Cecile Kohler and Jacques Paris, have been detained in Iran for over three years. On Thursday, French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot said the Iranian government has never officially informed France of the charges. However, reports suggest the two have been accused of spying for Israel, something Barrot firmly denied. He called for their 'immediate, unconditional release.' Kohler, 40, and Paris, 72, were arrested in May 2022. They were initially held in Tehran's Evin Prison, a notorious jail known for detaining dual nationals and foreigners often used as diplomatic leverage. A French diplomat was allowed to meet them earlier this week, after growing concerns from their families about their wellbeing. Their relatives had been demanding proof they were still alive following recent Israeli airstrikes on the prison. In an interview with BFM TV, Kohler's sister, Noemie, said the couple had been told they were charged with spying, trying to overthrow the Iranian regime, and 'corruption on Earth.' 'Our understanding … is that they face death penalty,' she said. 'We're really extremely worried about their psychological state and the trauma of the bombings.' According to Noemie, the diplomat's visit took place at a prison south of Tehran, as Kohler and Paris had been moved from Evin Prison after the strikes. Their current location remains unknown.

Huge blast, then cars fling in air: Israeli strikes hit crowded Tehran area. Video

Iranian media outlets on Wednesday released new footage, which they claim captures an Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) airstrike in video purportedly shows explosions in a densely populated neighbourhood in northern Tehran. In the visuals, cars with passengers inside appear to be hurled into the air due to the intensity of the blasts. The alleged strike is said to have taken place during Operation "Rising Lion."advertisement The strikes followed a 12-day air war ignited by Israeli attacks on Iranian sites earlier this month. The United States joined the campaign shortly afterward, citing the need to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear however, insists its nuclear programme is solely for peaceful purposes. But Western powers remain skeptical, mainly after reports emerged that Iran may have moved some of its highly enriched uranium stockpiles before the strikes.- EndsTune InMust Watch

20 Girlfriends, 2 Wives: Fake Cop From Muzaffarnagar Duped Women In 4 States

Last Updated: Naushad Tyagi targeted widowed or separated women, changing his identity based on their religion to deceive them—using Hindu names for Hindus and a Muslim name for Muslim women In a shocking case of fraud and impersonation, a man from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested for allegedly duping multiple women using fake identities. The accused, Naushad Tyagi, posed as a constable with the Uttar Pradesh Special Operations Group (SOG) and assumed different aliases to deceive women over the years. Tyagi reportedly changed his identity based on the religion of the woman he targeted. Tyagi is believed to have had two wives, 20 girlfriends, and physical relations with at least 10 women. He was arrested on July 1 from Charthawal. The case traces back to Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, where Tyagi was living with a friend who worked as a police constable. When his friend departed for Madhya Pradesh due to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he inadvertently left his uniform and other belongings with Tyagi. This marked the beginning of Tyagi's deceitful exploits. He donned the uniform and relocated to Muzaffarnagar, presenting himself as a police constable. In Muzaffarnagar, Tyagi's first wife, who is 23 years older than him, and his second wife living in Civil Lines area, were unaware of his double life. Tyagi targeted women, primarily those who were widowed or separated from their husbands, and deceived them by changing his identity based on their religion—Rahul or Ricky for Hindu women, and Naushad for Muslim women. According to police, Tyagi's web of deceit extended across four states, including Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Sambhal, Muzaffarnagar, Meghalaya, and Assam. He duped approximately 20 women by assuming different names and developed physical relations with 10 of them, exploiting the trust they placed in him as a supposed UP Police constable. Tyagi also used the guise of the police uniform to earn money through illegal means. To intimidate those around him, he befriended local policemen and frequently moved around the area with them under the pretext of treating them. The scandal unravelled when Tyagi ensnared a widow running a shop in Muzaffarnagar. Introducing himself as Rahul Tyagi, he frequented her shop and feigned affection, promising marriage. Under this pretense, he extorted about 2 lakh 75 thousand rupees and later persuaded her to part with jewellery worth 3 lakh rupees. When he started avoiding her marriage talks, the woman grew suspicious and reported him to the police. Upon investigation, the police arrested Tyagi while he was preparing to flee and find new victims. They discovered objectionable photos and videos of numerous women on his mobile and various name plates he had used to change identities. Tyagi had been indulging in his debauchery under the guise of a uniform for nearly three years. The police have filed a case against Tyagi under relevant sections and have recovered the uniform he used for his deceitful acts.
