
Police issue urgent appeal over alleged Geraldton sex attack
Police say in the early hours of Wednesday, April 30, a man unknown to the woman, broke into her home and sexually assaulted her before fleeing the scene.
The man is described as being aged between 20 and 30, about 175cm tall, and he may have been wearing a hat.
Detectives wish to speak to anyone who may have seen any persons, has CCTV, or dash-cam footage around the vicinity of North West Coastal Highway, Eastwood Road, Rifle Range Road, and Utakarra Road in Rangeway between 5.30am and 6.30am Wednesday morning.

Man killed in suspected hit-and-run on major Perth highway
A man has died in a suspected hit-and-run incident that shut down a major Perth highway for most of the day as police investigated. A man in his 40s was found with 'significant injuries' on Tonkin Highway in Perth's northeast just before 2.30am on Thursday. A beloved family pet has been taken from a home South of Perth in a brazen broad daylight theft which has sparked a manhunt by police. 'Poppy' the female American Staffy puppy was stolen from a home on Gloucester Street, Shoalwater about 12.40pm on Monday, June 30. CCTV footage released by Rockingham police as part of their investigation shows a silver Toyota hatchback arriving outside of the property. Two men get out of the car and walk up the driveway - they return to the vehicle a short time later with the puppy before getting back inside and taking-off. Police are urging anyone who recognises the men in the footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Reports can be made anonymously. 'Poppy' is described as black and white in colour with a maple leaf type marking on her belly/chest area.
