However, even after whittling down some more details, they have not yet reached the stage where we can say the deal is done.

According to reports, the overall cost of circa €25m is confirmed, but the issue is how that sum is split between fixed fee and the various add-ons.
Inter continue to hope they will get the move over the line eventually, though there is added pressure by the interest from VfB Stuttgart.
If the German side agrees to sell Woltemade to Bayern Munich, then some of that money can be reinvested in purchasing Bonny from Parma.
The 21-year-old is seen as an understudy to Marcus Thuram, whereas Francesco Pio Esposito is taking that role for Lautaro Martinez.
The Nerazzurri can save a lot of money by simply promoting the youth academy product rather than going for Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund.

Juventus keen on Leonardo Balerdi to bolster the defence
Juventus keen on Leonardo Balerdi to bolster the defence Juventus are keen on signing Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi this summer to strengthen their backline (h/t La Gazzetta dello Sport). The 5-2 defeat against Manchester City in the Club World Cup has shifted the Bianconeri's focus towards defensive reinforcements in the transfer window. Advertisement With Gleison Bremer close to returning from a long-term injury, the Old Lady are seeking a top-quality central defender to partner with the Brazilian. Manager Igor Tudor has handpicked Balerdi as the ideal target, having previously worked with him at Marseille. The Croatian gaffer highly values the Argentine's talent, discipline, leadership, adaptability and fighting spirit. However, it will be harder for the suitors to prise him away from the French club, who are unwilling to sell one of their key players. Balerdi's responsibility has grown at Marseille after being handed the captaincy by manager Roberto De Zerbi. Advertisement The 26-year-old featured in 27 games in Ligue 1 last season, helping Les Minots secure Champions League qualification. His impressive form at the club level has seen him become a regular for the Argentine national team. Balerdi is in contention to secure a place in the World Cup squad next year. Several Premier League clubs and AS Roma are also keeping tabs on Balerdi, who could cost more than €40 million. The Bianconeri are looking to sell some of the out-of-favour players to afford Balerdi's price tag. The likes of Lloyd Kelly and Daniele Rugani are on the chopping block. The Old Lady have lined up a few alternatives if they fail in Balerdi's pursuit. West Ham's Nayef Aguerd, Bologna's John Lucumi and Jeff Chabot of Stuttgart are on the wishlist.

Report – Inter Milan Will Only Sign €60M Rated Atalanta Star On One Condition Inter Milan will only move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson this summer if Hakan Calhanoglu departs. This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that La Dea will hold out for a fee of €60 million for the Brazilian. Advertisement Inter Milan have reportedly been eyeing up a possible move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson. The 25-year-old has come to the end of his third season at Atalanta. He joined the Bergamo-based club from Salernitana in the summer of 2022. And Ederson has certainly grown into one of the outstanding midfielders in Serie A during his time at the Gewiss Arena. Inter Milan Will Only Move For Atalanta Midfielder Ederson If Calhanoglu Leaves MONZA, ITALY – MAY 04: Ederson of Atalanta BC in action during the Serie A match between AC Monza and Atalanta BC at U-Power Stadium on May 04, 2025 in Monza, Italy. (Photo by) However, considering Ederson's form, Atalanta will not let the Brazilian go for cheap. The Corriere dello Sport anticipate that La Dea want a fee of at least €60 million for Ederson. Advertisement Therefore, Inter would have to make a big sale if they are to move for the 25-year-old. The obvious candidate in this respect would be Hakan Calhanoglu. The Turkish international could bring in a fee of around €35-40 million, which Inter could reinvest in a move for Ederson to replace him. However, if Inter do not sell Calhanoglu, then there would be little scope for them to sign the Brazilian.
