The games were held between June 30 and July 6. The World Police and Fire Games are a major international sports event where police and fire service personnel from around the world compete in various sports. This year, over 10,000 athletes from more than 70 countries took part. BSF in a statement shared that its personnel won 38 gold medals, 21 silver medals and 14 bronze medals at the games. 'BSF personnel are trained to maintain physical fitness and mental toughness, which enables them to perform exceptionally well in sports,' it said. While 14 gold, 12 silver and 11 bronze were won by BSF personnel in swimming events; athletics contributed 12 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze medals.
