Molly-Mae Hague told to 'stop complaining' as she grumbles about holiday adventure

Daily Mirror21-07-2025
Molly-Mae Hague says her recent Isle of Man motorhome holiday with Tommy Fury was far from perfect as she opened up about the nightmare start to their family break
Mum Molly-Mae Hague was told to "get a grip" as she detailed her holiday "struggles" on her recent motorhome trip with Tommy Fury.

The couple have been busy mending their romance, having revealed they were getting back together in the second instalment of her Prime Video series, 'Behind It All', back in May. They took a recent trip to the Isle of Man, sharing their escapades across social media.

But after getting back, Molly-Mae told all about it and her openness didn't go down well with all her followers. 'Tommy has bought a motorhome and we spent our first weekend in the motorhome this weekend," he explained. 'Obviously, being us, we went in feet first and decided to go to the Isle of Man.

'Tommy's family were spending the weekend in the Isle of Man. I was feeling spontaneous so we literally booked the ferry to the Isle of Man an hour before we needed to leave. We'd never used the motorhome before, we needed to pack it up, sort Bambi, I just had this wave of 'you only live once, have a bit of fun'.
'Bambi doesn't need to be so perfectly routine every day, she's not a newborn anymore. I've got so stuck in my ways with the fact that her routine is her routine and I don't really steer away from it. I'm not gonna feel bad for that because that is what works for me and that is what works for Bambi and Tommy, so that's fine.'

But it was a struggle with the two-year-old: 'So anyway, booked the ferry, packed the motorhome up and nearly didn't make the ferry but that's another story and then there was a two hour delay. This ferry, which was already gonna get us in at 11:30pm, which was already severely triggering me because Bambi goes to bed at 7pm.
'Was not fine! It was giving me a prime example as to why the routine works for us. It was one of those moments where strangers come up to you and are like 'can I help? Is there anything I can do?' She was screaming that much for four hours straight. The boat basically had a malfunction and it wouldn't move for like two hours so we had a huge delay. She was so, so, so overtired and overstimulated - Bambi is so routine, she is the opposite of flexible.'

'We managed to get to the Isle of Man at 1:30am in the morning. We didn't know where we were, what we were doing, we were going to a different campsite to Tommy's family. It was just a lot. We had to make our bed out of this sofa, I was like 'I'm really out of my depth, I'm struggling'. 'The next day, Bambi was so tired, she was just screaming, literally screaming, so, so unhappy. 'Me and Tommy were looking at each other like 'what were we thinking?''
But things got better once she and Tommy met up with Tyson Fury, his wife Paris and their seven children. She went on: 'We were actually going to get on a ferry that day to come home because we were so out of our depth, we couldn't do it. But then, when we met up with them, we were like 'no, we're gonna stick it out, we can do this.''
One person said: 'Why is she always complaining about something? If it's not her, it's her sister How insufferable must it be living with them.' Another person chipped in by saying: 'So dramatic' while a third followers told the former Love Island star to stop moaning and "get a grip".
A fourth person said: 'I personally feel it would have been so much better to wait to have children, she's so successful and mature in one way but very self-centred and immature in others as seen here.' But there were plenty supporting her, with a fan telling the star she is "handling it all superbly".

Molly-Mae cries as she brushes off ‘out of touch' accusations in tearful motherhood update

Molly-Mae Hague wiped away tears as she opened up about motherhood difficulties in a new vlog on Sunday (27 July), declaring: "I don't care who tells me I'm out of touch with reality." In a previous video, the former Love Island star described how she'd told a friend she was going to reach the end of summer 'having not done one social fun thing'. The remark drew criticism on social media, with one commenter saying: "I love Molly-Mae, I think she's sweet, but this complaining is making her look so ungrateful at least she's been on more than one holiday in under a year." In Sunday's update, Molly-Mae said she was trying hard to stay positive, but it was tough because even small tasks — like putting socks and shoes on Bambi — made her daughter scream.

The Buccaneers fans need to stream this 'masterpiece' drama film from the same author

As another season of the beloved period drama The Buccaneers comes to an end, make sure you check out this cinematic masterpiece based on a book by the same author The Buccaneers fans are encouraged to give this sumptuous period masterpiece a try as it's inspired by another novel by acclaimed author, Edith Wharton. ‌ Apple TV+'s popular drama set during the Gilded Age recently returned for its second season, which will conclude next Wednesday, 6th August. ‌ It follows a band of five wealthy, rebellious young women who move from the United States to London in the 1870s and immediately cause a stir with scandals, affairs and criminal activities. ‌ Based on an unfinished novel by Wharton, The Buccaneers has developed a passionate cult following thanks to its provocative feminist themes and outrageous plot twists and storylines. While fans are waiting for a potential third season, this 1993 film based on arguably Wharton's most celebrated novel is definitely worth your attention. ‌ Directed by Hollywood visionary Martin Scorsese and featuring an all-star cast led by Daniel Day Lewis, Winona Ryder and Michelle Pfeiffer, The Age of Innocence is currently streaming on Prime Video. This sweeping romance, also set in the 1870s, follows a wealthy New York attorney who finds himself caught between two women, conformist May Welland (played by Ryder) and unconventional Countess Ellen Olenska (Pfeiffer). Best known for crime epics such as Goodfellas and The Wolf of Wall Street, many movie buffs insist The Age of Innocence is secretly one of Scorsese's best films. ‌ One effusive five-star Google review piled on the praise: 'This film is every bit as brutal as the vintage Scorsese mafia films. Only, here it's all emotional. No dead bodies. The film is a lesson in diplomacy and subtlety to a world that has become almost irredeemably overt. 'The cast is marvellous, includes some all time greats. The costumes, cinematography - very appealing. Underrated. Masterpiece.' ‌ Someone else agreed: 'Such an intelligent and beautifully made Scorsese film, faithful to the novel for which Edith Wharton won a Pulitzer Prize. 'Watching this movie again, 32 years later, the young actors are all so strikingly gorgeous, especially the radiant Michelle Pfeiffer. The theme of an individual struggling against the constraints of society is timeless.' ‌ The praise continued over on Letterboxd, where one fan raved: 'One of the great underrated films of the 1990s and probably the most neglected film of Martin Scorsese's career. 'It is a brilliant costume drama with a repressed but emotive performance from Daniel Day Lewis, matched in almost every scene by Michelle Pfeiffer.' And a final user made a bold declaration: 'Rewatch confirms what I've suspected for a while: this is Martin Scorsese's very best movie.' Readers and cinephiles alike shouldn't miss out on this opportunity to dive into the rich and heartbreaking world of The Age of Innocence at their nearest opportunity. The Age of Innocence is available to stream on Prime Video. The Buccaneers season 2 concludes Wednesday, 6th August on Apple TV+.

Lightsaber fight sees Star Wars film reclassified due to ‘moderate violence'

The reclassification was revealed in the BBFC's 2024 annual report, which said the 1999 film's starship dogfights, use of laser weapons, and the battle, which shows brief 'bloody detail' and a 'non-graphic' shot of a villain's dissected body, had led to it being labelled PG for its cinema re-release last year. PG means the film should not unsettle a child aged eight or above, but some scenes may be unsuitable for more sensitive children, while U means a movie is suitable to all. Another film which saw its classification change was 1937's A Star Is Born, which went from U to 12, meaning it is not generally suitable for children aged under 12, because of the implied suicide of one of the film's characters, which was described as 'visually discreet'. The phrase 'son of a bitch' and drug references saw US TV comedy series Fraser go from a PG to a 12, over a change in the guidelines for classification, while both The Crow (1995) and Fight Club (1999) saw their classifications lowered from 18 to 15 because of the updated guidelines. It comes as last year saw the BBFC classify the highest number of films in its 112-year history, with new guidelines regarding the classification of sex scenes at the 12/15 border, violence across the categories, and certain depictions of drug misuse. Natasha Kaplinsky, president of the BBFC, said: '2024 was the BBFC's 112th year of helping people across the UK view what's right for them – and what a remarkable year it was. 'We classified more cinema features than ever before, and we have made significant progress towards extending the coverage of trusted BBFC age ratings on streaming services through new deals with Prime Video and Netflix. 'We launched our revised Classification Guidelines – ensuring that the standards we apply when classifying content continue to reflect the views of UK audiences. 'Perhaps most exciting of all, we have continued our pioneering work with AI, ensuring that the BBFC remains at the forefront of film and digital content regulation. It has been a genuine privilege to lead the organisation at such an exciting and transformative time.'
