Distribution of medicines & medical supplies to 58 health facilities in Taiz
The Health and Environment Office in Taiz province distributed on Sunday medicines and medical supplies to 58 health facilities as part of the Human Capital Project and the GAVI Project, with support from UNICEF.
The distribution targeted health facilities in the districts of Al-Ta'iziyah, Mawiyah, Shar'ab Ar-Rawnah, Shar'ab As-Salam, Salah, Maqbanah, Al-Masrakh, Hayfan, Sabr Al-Mawadim, As-Salu, Sami', and Al-Mawasit.
Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakel, Director General of the Health and Environment Office in the province, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the medicines and supplies will contribute to improving the level of healthcare services, alleviating the suffering of patients unable to afford medication costs.
He praised the efforts and support of the Ministry of Health and the local authorities in the province for the health sector in the districts, aiming to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens.

Gaza - Saba: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose on Sunday to 57,410 martyrs and 136,261 wounded since October 7, 2023. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated, in a daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 80 martyrs and 304 wounded in the past 24 hours.
