Ty Dillon continues In-Season Challenge run, advances to semifinal round
Dillon, the last seed in the 32-driver field, is now two races away from winning $1 million.

The other three drivers left in the In-Season Challenge are John Hunter Nemechek, Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs.
Dillon finished 17th to beat Bowman, who was 19th, to advance. Dillon has eliminated No. 1 seed Denny Hamlin, No. 17 seed Brad Keselowski and Bowman, the No. 8 seed.
Dillon will be paired against Nemechek next week at Dover Motor Speedway. Nemechek finished 28th to eliminate Legacy Motor Club teammate Erik Jones, who finished 29th.
Nemechek, the No. 12 seed, has eliminated Josh Berry (No. 21 seed), Chase Elliott (No. 5 seed) and Jones (No. 20 seed).

Reddick finished sixth Sunday at Sonoma to eliminate Ryan Preece, who placed 12th.
Reddick, the No. 23 seed, has eliminated Kyle Larson (No. 10 seed), Carson Hocevar (No. 26 seed) and Preece (No. 15 seed).
Reddick will be matched against Ty Gibbs next week at Dover.
Gibbs, the No. 6 seed, advanced by finishing seventh to Zane Smith's 27th-place result.
Gibbs has eliminated Justin Haley (No. 27 seed), AJ Allmendinger (No. 22 seed) and Smith (No. 14 seed).

2025 MLB All-Star Game to take place at Braves' home park after it was taken away over voting law controversy
The MLB All-Star Game will take place Tuesday night at Truist Park in Cumberland, Georgia, with the American League looking to continue its dominance over the National League. The American League has won 10 out of the last 11 games, not including the 2020 season in which the game was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The National League won the game in 2023, but the American League rectified their loss last season in Arlington, Texas. This year, the game heads to the home of the Atlanta Braves. It's the first time the All-Star Game will be played in their stadium since they played at Turner Field in 2000. The Braves were initially supposed to host the 2021 All-Star Game at Truist Park, but it was removed over an uproar about a voting law the state passed. The Election Integrity Act of 2021 placed new restrictions on voting by mail, added voter ID requirements and limited ballot drop boxes. Then-President Joe Biden criticized the law as "Jim Crow on steroids." On Monday, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp praised MLB for returning the game to Atlanta and creating economic opportunities for businesses in the city. "We're excited about the game finally being here. It should have been here several years ago. They never should have pulled it to start with, but thankfully the game's coming back," Kemp said in an appearance on "Fox & Friends." "It's good for the Braves organization. It's good for all the vendors and small business people in and around the ballpark and in the city of Atlanta up in Cobb County and really for our whole state." The law is presently still in place as the baseball world descends on the city. As far as the game goes, reigning American League Cy Young pitcher Tarik Skubal, of the Detroit Tigers, is set to start against National League Rookie of the Year, Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes. New York Yankees' All-Star Max Fried handed Skubal the opportunity to start the game as he felt that Skubal had earned the honor. Europe will defend the trophy at Bethpage, New York, from September 26-28 as they seek a first victory on US soil since 2012. Each team is made up of 12 players, six who will qualify through their performances over the past two years, and six who will be captain's picks. The cut off for earning points for US players comes after the BMW Championship on August 17. European players can earn points until the conclusion of the British Masters on August 24. Players who defected to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf do not earn points for their results on the breakaway tour but are still eligible to play, either through earning points in the majors or via a captain's selection. Multi-vehicle crash blocks eastbound I-80 in Sacramento's South Natomas
A multi-vehicle crash is heavily impacting traffic Tuesday evening on eastbound Interstate 80 in the South Natomas area of Sacramento. Sacramento Fire said all eastbound lanes are blocked near the northbound Interstate 5 interchange. Sacramento Fire also responded to the scene and said it happened around 5:15 p.m. The department said there were multiple people injured. It's not yet clear when the freeway will be cleared.
