A man in his 40s was found dead and a woman in her 40s had been arrested on suspicion of murder and as of yesterday was still in custody for questioning. Crime scene investigation were on scene on Friday.

Murder probe as woman found dead after Asda 'armed robbery'
A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead following reports of an 'armed robbery' at an Asda supermarket. Police were called at around 9.20pm on Saturday (July 26) to reports of the incident at the Asda store in Dewsbury. A man was arrested at the scene and a knife was seized. After his arrest, the man disclosed that a woman, who he believed to be deceased, was inside a property on Norfolk Street, in Batley, West Yorkshire Police said. Officers attended the address and found the body of a woman. The 37-year-old man, who had been arrested a short time before in connection with the robbery incident, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder. West Yorkshire Police said there are potentially two further people, a man and a woman, who may have come to harm. Enquiries are ongoing in the area to locate them.
