In his post-match press conference, Norrie was quizzed on Raducanu amid rumours of her growing close to reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz.
A journalist asked the world No61: "Some of the gossip has been about who Emma Raducanu is dating.
"Can I ask if you are dating her? Can we get to the bottom of this please?"
A perplexed Norrie replied: "Sorry?"
The reporter then responded: "I am trying to find out who is dating Emma Raducanu.
"It seems to be going around all the men's singles... I was wondering if you're dating her, please?"
A clearly uncomfortable Norrie then said: "I'm not, no. You can ask her. I don't know."
The 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist is in a relationship with Louise Jacobi.
Norrie reportedly met the New York-born textiles designer five years ago.
Raducanu, who was defeated by world No1 Aryna Sabalenka last night, has played down her relationship with Alcaraz and claimed they are just good friends.

It comes after a source exclusively revealed to SunSport that the pair had a "spark" and arrived at the Queen's tournament last month within minutes of each other amid suggestions of spending cosy days together.
On her bond with Alcaraz, Raducanu said: "I've known him for years.
"Wimbledon 2021 was the first time I started getting to know him, and I had a good run there and then also again in the US Open in 2021.
"We have a good relationship still. He's obviously overtaken me a lot, but it's nice that we have that from a while ago.
"I think for all of us, we really kind of value those connections that we had from when we were young because when you become a bit more known or a bit more successful, you just find yourself reverting back to people you knew from a young age because you're like, that's a real genuine connection.
"Because it becomes very busy and you have a lot more friends but the ones that you've known for a long time mean a lot more to you."

Real Housewives star SNUBS A-lister after mistaking her for a regular fan
Former Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer is infamous for her lack of social graces. So it's hardly a surprise that the 68-year-old's bad manners were on full display when a 'fan' recently approached her at a party to say hi. However, the reality star was later stunned to discover that the fan in question was none other than Hollywood actress Emma Roberts. Singer then made a beeline back to Roberts after her daughter Avery urged her to fix the situation. In a video posted to social media, Singer says, 'So guess who I ran into!' She then pulls Roberts into frame and continues, 'She wanted to say hi to me and I said, "NOT now!"' Roberts added, 'I'm a big fan and she said, "Get away! NO!"' The American Horror Story actress then put her palm out to imitate Singer, implying that Singer had put her hand in her face while dismissing her. Avery then told her mother, 'You need to go fix it because you have no idea who you just shooed away!' After chastising Singer, Avery then went over to Roberts and apologized on her mom's behalf. Roberts then chimed in again and said, 'And now we're BFFs. All of us!' The actress is known for being a huge Real Housewives fan and has even been seen hanging out with Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay. Last year, Singer admitted that she 'never liked being famous' and was much happier since leaving RHONY. Singer was an original member of the Bravo reality series, which premiered in 2008, but was let go when the show got a reboot in 2021. Ramona was stunned to discover that the fan in question was none other than Hollywood actress Emma Roberts 'I never liked being famous. Isn't there a saying, "fame isn't what it's all cracked up to be?"' the Real Housewives alum told Us Weekly. 'I don't think I was really famous, but I guess I was sort of,' she added. While speaking to the outlet, the former Turtle Time podcast host also shared that she sympathized with major celebrities like Brad Pitt who were always photographed wherever they went. She explained that she and ex-husband Mario Singer were captured on camera while they were taking a vacation many years ago. 'I was on vacation once with my ex-husband, and [people] were in the trees, taking photos,' Singer recalled. 'I don't think fame is great, but I guess you have to get famous to be successful in entertainment.' However, interestingly enough, this is not the first time that Singer has shared this sentiment about her time in the spotlight. 'I haven't been on TV in two years now and I'm more relaxed now, I'm happier,' Singer told in March 2023. 'I don't have to deal with negative things being put out there that isn't true,' she added.

Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views across various social media platforms. But an investigation was reportedly triggered by one of her most shared videos, where Linda performs in a cabaret in a traditional belly dancing costume. The Cairo prosecutor's office accuses the young woman of having "used seduction techniques and provocative dances to incite vice". According to authorities' report, in some videos Linda "deliberately wore provocative clothing and performed dance movements with sexual allusions" They say she therefore disrespected "public decency" and the "values of family and society". Investigators also argued the artist "appeared in indecent clothing, deliberately exposing sensitive areas of her body, in clear violation of social values". She denies all the charges against her and claims she practices her profession in compliance with the law. The dancer said after being arrested: "I have the permits to practice my activity and all the videos circulating on social media are normal. "It is a permitted dance performance and does not contain anything that violates or goes against public morals." Irish TD Paul Murphy detained in Egypt and passport confiscated after bus stopped amid March to Gaza She added that the content she records is "only for entertainment purposes". Whilst belly dancing isn't prohibited in Egypt, videos on social media have to comply with the country's values. Egypt has increased its cruel crackdowns on artists and influences accused of offending public morals. Under Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's government, at least five belly dancers have been horrifically jailed on charges similar to those given to Linda. The Pharaoh nation sucks in a staggering 18 million tourists each year, and the industry props up around 10 per cent of the whole economy. But beyond the plush resorts of the popular Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada - Egypt is covering up its dark underbelly. The country's brutal police force deals in bribes and locks people up on bogus charges, including Brit holidaymakers. Egypt's picture-postcard image is being tested, with a former British ambassador to the country recently branding it a "police state". 5 Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views Credit: Instagram

Tony Carroll's five-year-old has landed three victories from four visits to the seaside and came home quickly when just denied here last time. The handicapper has left his mark alone and he takes a drop in class which can get him back to winning ways. He gets on well with today's rider Jack Doughty and decent ground is ideal. CRYSTAL MER (8.30 Uttoxeter, nb) He looked a cut above when bolting up over course and distance last month and can strike again under champion jockey Sean Bowen. The six-year-old powered clear with loads in hand that day and still looks well treated for Hughie Morrison who rarely misses when targeting these races. That was his debut for the yard and there's a lot more to come. SHADY BAY (7.42 Brighton, treble) She caught the eye with a five-length win at Nottingham last time out. She showed a blistering turn of pace there and clearly enjoyed dropping to this distance. She is back out quickly under a 5lb penalty and has a big chance of following up under Hollie Doyle. COMMAND THE STARS (4.25 Lingfield, Lucky 15) He showed bundles of promise on debut and then absolutely bolted up at Beverley, pulling four lengths clear despite still running green.
