Levi Kitchen, Pro Circuit extend contract though 2027
Kitchen was one of 12 riders to win in the 250 class in 2025 when he scored the victory in Detroit. His season immediately took a turn the following week when he crashed in the Daytona Supercross race and broke his collarbone and suffered fractures in his upper back. Kitchen would not return to ride Supercross in 2025.
Kitchen got back on the bike in early April to prepare for the Pro Motocross season opener next week at Fox Raceway in Pala, California. Last year, Kitchen finished second at Pala.
He was second the following week in the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Rancho Cordova, California, before hitting a dry spell in the next four rounds. He overcame that in Spring Creek, Minnesota, and won three of the last five races.

SuperMotocross, Monster Energy extend sponsorship through 2030, includes playoffs
Monster Energy has renewed its agreement with Feld Motor Sports' American Motorcycle Association (AMA) Supercross Championship for an additional five years, running through 2030. In addition, they will become the title sponsor of the entire SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) series. According to Adam Stern, the deal is in the mid-eight-figure range in total revenue for the league during the contracted period. Beginning in 2007, Monster Energy and Supercross will have a 24-year history, making it one of the longest-running relationships in the energy drink brand's history, according to Mitch Covington, Senior Vice President of Sports Marketing at Monster Energy. The SMX League combines points from Supercross and the AMA Pro Motocross series, encompassing 28 regular-season rounds of competition. The three-round playoffs bring the total to 31 rounds. Negotiations for the extension were held between the two companies, with Feld Motor Sports VP/Global Partnerships Dave Muye leading the effort for the series. During the 2025 Supercross season, 828,796 spectators attended events, including more than 329,000 who participated in the popular pre-race FanFest activities, where companies like Monster Energy had the opportunity to engage directly with fans. KTM AG returns to full production
KTM AG resumed production across all four lines at its main plants of Mattighofen and Munderfing, with 1,000 production employees returning to normal operations. Production for its KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas motorcycle brands is included. "A special thank you goes to our employees, who have made this restart possible through their tremendous dedication, flexibility, and team spirit over the past months," said KTM AG CEO Gottfried Neumeister in a news release. "Their commitment during one of the most challenging phases has been - and continues to be - a key success factor for the company's future development. Restarting production gives us the stability we need to fully refocus on quality, customer proximity, and further development." While this does not necessarily conclude the saga of KYM parent company Pierer Mobility AG's restructuring, which was announced in November 2024, it further lessens speculation about the overall health of the company that produced last year's Pro Motocross champion, Chase Sexton. In May 2025, the company announced that Bajaj Auto Ltd., a co-owner of KTM AG alongside Stefan Pierer, had secured a one-year, $632 million loan to keep the company operational as it restructured some of its debt. Representing KTM, Sexton is currently fourth in SuperMotocross World Championship points. Husqvarna's top rider is Malcolm Stewart, who sits sixth in the standings. GasGas is best represented by Justin Barcia in ninth.
