The embattled rapper and Puff's son released the project on streaming services at midnight Friday (June 27). Ye served as executive producer, and North West — his eldest daughter with ex-wife Kim Kardashian — is featured on the song 'Lonely Roads.' Another track worth noting is 'Diddy Free,' which includes the chorus, 'N—as ain't goin to sleep 'till we see Diddy free.'

The release makes sense, considering Ye has been one of Diddy's most high-profile defenders throughout the latter's federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial, which is in the midst of closing arguments this week. Ye pulled up to Puff's trial in Manhattan earlier this month. The rapper — who has been facing criticism over his repeated hate speech the last few years — told one journalist that he had come to show support for the disgraced Bad Boy Records founder.
Sean Combs has been on trial since May, facing allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. Federal prosecutors have accused him of managing an elaborate criminal ring aimed at facilitating his alleged freak-offs — drug-fueled events wherein he allegedly coerced women, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, to have sex with others. His legal team has denied all of the charges, with Combs' attorney Teny Geragos claiming in opening statements: 'Sean Combs is a complicated man, but this is not a complicated case. We take full responsibility that there was domestic violence. Domestic violence is not sex trafficking.'
Diddy's family has remained firmly in support of him, with his daughters attending his trial on Thursday (June 26).

Helldivers 2 is the first PlayStation-published Xbox game
Arrowhead Game Studios' Helldivers 2 will make the jump to the Xbox Series X and S consoles on August 26th, costing $39.99. This is the first PlayStation-published title to launch on Xbox. The title will ship with cross play between all platforms. The cooperative PvE third-person shooter was an unexpected hit when it first launched simultaneously on PlayStation 5 and PC in early 2023. It soared in popularity on Steam, where it earned an 'overwhelmingly positive' rating, which flipped to 'overwhelmingly negative' when Sony introduced (then swiftly reversed) a decision to require a PSN login for PC players. Xbox's press release makes no mention of a PSN login, so it likely won't be required here. Helldivers 2 is a gem of a game that's high on hijinx. What initially seems like a serious sci-fi title often gives way to funny, emergent moments, thanks in part to its Strategem system, which requires you to input complex button combos while facing down swarms of enemies. There are a variety of missions you can take on against aliens, robots, and a newer Illuminate species. And, since it's a live-service title, the lore and the stakes are always evolving (and the developers often troll players). It's a fun world to be immersed in, even if you're just grinding the free battle pass for weapon upgrades. Sean ‘Diddy' Combs was convicted on prostitution transportation charges under the Mann Act. Here's what to know about the 1910 law
After seven weeks of intense, emotional and sometimes graphic testimony, Sean 'Diddy' Combs was acquitted Wednesday of the most serious charges in his sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy trial trial. The hip-hop mogul, however, was convicted on two lesser prostitution-related charges under the federal Mann Act. The Mann Act, enacted in 1910 and originally known as the 'White-Slave Traffic Act,' criminalizes transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution. Its language, which legal scholars have defined as vague, has led to controversial prosecutions, including against Black champion heavyweight boxer Jack Johnson in 1913. It was more recently used in high-profile cases, including against R&B singer R. Kelly and British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime confidante of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Here's what we know: According to the original text of the Mann Act, an individual could be convicted for transporting a woman or girl across state lines 'for the purpose of prostitution or debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose.' But the original language around an 'immoral purpose' was considered vague – and meant the law was used to punish consensual sexual activity and common sex work, often against Black defendants. It was removed from the act by an amendment in the 80s. The law's broad wording and subsequent Supreme Court interpretation once allowed prosecutors to bring cases against 'unlawful premarital, extramarital, and interracial couples,' according to Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute. In 1913, an all-White jury convicted Johnson under the Mann Act for transporting a White woman – reported to be his girlfriend – across state lines. Johnson served just under a year in prison, and the conviction derailed his career. President Donald Trump posthumously pardoned him in 2018. The Mann Act has since been amended several times and now criminalizes transporting any person across state lines 'with intent that such individual engage in prostitution, or in any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense.' Combs' defense argued in February the Mann Act has a racist history, claiming he was targeted for being a powerful Black man. 'What was racist in its inception has often been racist in its operation,' his attorneys said in a court filing, claiming no White person had faced a similar prosecution. Prosecutors denied allegations of racism, arguing that most of Combs' accusers are people of color, the Associated Press reported. 'He baselessly accused the government of engaging in a racist prosecution,' one of the prosecutors told the judge at an October hearing, adding that the accusations posed a 'serious risk' for a fair trial. The aim of the mogul's attorneys was to get the transportation to engage in prostitution charges dismissed. In 2021, Maxwell was convicted under another provision of the Mann Act for transporting minors with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. She was also found guilty of charges including sex trafficking of a minor and three other charges relating to conspiracy. Maxwell, who helped set up a scheme to lure young women into sexual relationships with Epstein, is currently serving a 20-year sentence. R. Kelly, the disgraced R&B singer who is currently serving a 30-year sentence, was also convicted in 2021 of eight counts of violations of the Mann Act, after he was found guilty of using his fame to ensnare victims he sexually abused.
