T-mobile is offering a 6-month trial of Apple TV Plus for new and existing users
TL;DR For a limited time, most T-Mobile plans that don't include Apple TV Plus are already eligible for a six-month Apple TV Plus trial, even if you have used a trial before.
The offer ends July 28th, but T-Mobile notes there are limited quantities and so you'll need to act sooner rather than later.
You can sign up today from the T-Life app, but be aware that a few plans won't receive this offer, like Simple Choice and the '4 for $100'.
While Apple TV Plus is already included with Experience Beyond, Experience More, and several older legacy plans, what if you have a cheaper T-Mobile plan? Although you won't get free access indefinitely, T-Mobile is currently offering a six-month Apple TV Plus trial, even for those who have already redeemed an Apple TV trial in the past.
This promotion is part of the latest T-Mobile Tuesdays perks. While the offer officially ends on July 28th, T-Mobile says it is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested, you should claim it soon, since it could run out before the end date.
The fine print mentions only one offer per account, but The Mobile Report points out that the benefit appears to be applied on a per-line basis, which may let multiple family members get a trial. Most current and legacy plans are eligible, though some plans like '4 for $100' or Simple Choice may be left out.
One of the worst parts about free trials is the risk of forgetting to cancel and getting charged later. Thankfully, you can sign up and immediately cancel, and you will still keep your six months of Apple TV Plus access. This way, you will not have to worry about surprise charges. To claim the offer, just open your T-Life app and sign up now.

Breaking: One UI 8 beta 4 starts rolling out for the Galaxy S25 series

The third beta is available to users in the South Korea, Germany, and India, but we expect users in the US to get the update soon. The fourth One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S25 series (h/t Tarun Vats) is 1.3GB in size and has the version number S938BXXU5ZYGB/S938BOXM5ZYGB/S938BXXU5BYGB, depending on the region. This update is rolling out to users in Germany, South Korea, and India at the moment, but we expect users in the US and UK to also get the update very soon. The complete changelog isn't visible, but I could piece together the following translated changes from different images: Added emergency update feature to Samsung IMS Service: A notification or pop-up may appear asking you to agree to IMS service updates and restarts. Supports full-screen switching during video playback when using DeX. Improved Galaxy AI Reply Recommendation Feature Operation. Improved loading issues when uttering Bixby routine commands. Improved display error of quick launch icon area on lock screen. A bug when editing iNavi dashcam videos in the Gallery app has been fixed. An issue where the 'Fingerprint sensor is not responding' message was displayed on the lock screen has been fixed. A bug with outgoing calls when dialing by swiping from the contact list with the TalkBack feature enabled has been fixed. An issue with the center horizontal/vertical screen level flickering when switching from the front to the rear camera has been fixed. Software stability has been improved with updates to several applications. To enroll in the One UI 8 beta program on your Galaxy S25 series, you will need to download the Samsung Members app, sign in with your Samsung Account. Google is finally fixing an Android update bug that's been an annoyance for weeks
Rita El Khoury / Android Authority TL;DR Google is addressing an issue that's been affecting the installation of Play System updates on devices running Android 16. The company says it has identified the problem and will resolve it with an upcoming update. The issue also affected our Pixel 9a running Android 16, and many others reported the problem on other Pixel phones as well. I've been dealing with an update issue on my Pixel 9a running Android 16 for weeks, and it turns out I'm not the only one. For a while now, I haven't been able to install new Google Play system updates successfully. Every time I tapped the update button, the phone detected an available update and began installing it. However, partway through the process, the installation would abruptly stop and show a 'Failed to update' error message. At first, I brushed it off as a problem with a specific Play System update. But just as I was considering a full factory reset, I discovered that many others running Android 16 or Android 16 QPR builds were experiencing the same issue. Thankfully, Google has acknowledged the problem and is taking action. In a new support article, Google says it's aware of an issue that's preventing some Android 16 and Android 16 beta devices from installing the latest Google Play system update. (If you're unsure where to find that, go to Settings > Security & Privacy > System & updates > Google Play system update.) The good news is that Google says there's no need to factory reset your phone. A fix has been identified and will be included in an upcoming Google Play system update. Hopefully, this means the issue will be resolved soon, and we'll finally be able to install Play system updates again. Your Pixel Watch could soon give you the same backup freedom as your Android phone (APK teardown)

We've found code evidence suggesting Pixel Watches could soon get a 'Backup now' button in Settings, possibly removing the current requirement of having the watch connected to a charger during the backup process. The option is similar to the Backup now setting you find on Android phones. Google seems to be working towards making Pixel Watch backups a little less annoying. Currently, if you want to back up your Pixel Watch, you have to ensure it's connected to Wi-Fi and placed on the charger. The watch will then automatically start the backup process if you've turned on the backup option in Settings or during setup. So as it stands, you have no manual control over when your watch is backed up, and the automatic process requires you to connect it to a charger. While sifting through the code in Google Play Services for Wear OS (version 25.28.34), we found a string referencing a new 'Backup now' option Google may be planning to add to Pixel Watches. The new option, likely presented as a button in the Pixel Watch settings when it goes live, is similar to the manual backup option on Android devices. That means you may soon be able to instantly trigger a backup on your Pixel Watch without waiting for the device to be idle and charging. The reason is that Google Play Services doesn't support backups for all Wear OS watches.
