In previous years, we've seen plenty of big-ticket products fall to their lowest-ever price, such as the AirPods Pro 2 earbuds, which were reduced to just £179 last year.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Amazon has confirmed that the next Prime Day sale will take place from Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 July. This is the first time the sales event has run for four days, so you'll have even more time to shop for the best deals.
How to get the best deal on Amazon Prime Day
Before you shop the Amazon Prime Day sale, make a wish list to avoid buying products that you don't need. Once the sale starts, use price history tools, such as CamelCamelCamel, to see if you're truly getting a good deal or if you should hold off buying until the price goes down even further.
It's also worth doing a quick Google search to see if you can get a better price at other retailers. Competing retailers often reduce the prices of popular products to match, or even provide a better offer, than Amazon. They may also throw in a longer warranty or free delivery.
Best early Amazon Prime Day deals in the UK:
Our senior tech critic Alex Lee loved this air fryer when he put it to the test. Unlike usual air fryers, this model combines a glass bowl with an air frying lid for compact, clever storage. It's perfect for meal prep; you can cook a meal for work in the small 1.4L bowl, put the included travel lid on, and put it in the fridge for easy commuter meals.
Shark's HydroGo portable fan combines the five fan speeds of the FlexBreeze, which we named our best cordless fan, with a fine mist, thanks to the addition of a 150ml water tank. Our reviewer found that the original FlexBreeze did a 'great job of cooling the air to each side of the unit as well as directly in front of it', so you can expect the same cooling power from this model.
Right now, you can save 24 per cent on the portable fan at Amazon. The price fell at the end of June, so we'll let you know if there are further reductions when Prime Day starts next week.

However, it's one of Amazon's lightning deals, so you'll need to be quick if you want to snap it up.
We're expecting to see a range of discounts on Ninja's kitchen appliances and cookware when Prime Day lands. Right now, you can save almost 20 per cent on the brand's electric outdoor pizza oven, perfect for summer entertaining, and it's the cheapest we've ever seen it.
We put Ninja's woodfire pizza oven to the test and found it gave us pizzas with a 'lovely charred taste and crispy crust'. This version doesn't come with the option to use wood pellets, but if you can do without that smoky taste, you'll save yourself around £50.
Amazon slashed the price of this Tefal air fryer to £99.99 in October's Prime Day sale, and it's dropped back down to this price again.
Our tester Katie reviewed the XXL model and found that her frozen chips and chicken shawarma cooked 'quickly and evenly'. She also liked its 'easy-to-use controls, the dishwasher-safe baskets and trays, and the family-sized proportions'.

If you're looking to upgrade your video doorbell, our best model for digital privacy has a huge 40 per cent off on Amazon. Our reviewer's favourite feature on the video doorbell was its night vision camera, which has 'probably the sharpest and brightest picture' that she's tried.
This is the lowest the Eufy doorbell has ever dropped on Amazon. If it goes out of stock, you can also get it for the same price at Eufy when you use the discount code 'WS24E8222'. However, both are limited-time deals, so they won't be around for long.
Eufy is also known for its cleaning appliances, one of which we named our best robot vacuum cleaner. The L60 has enough suction power to pick up standard household dirt like food crumbs and pet hair, but you'll have to forgo features such as mopping and advanced obstacle detection that pricier models have.
It's currently reduced by 36 per cent as part of Amazon's early Prime Day deals, so you'll need to be a member to snap it up. We've only seen the price drop this low during last year's Black Friday sale.
If you'd rather go hands-free with your vacuuming, Samsung's jet bot robot vacuum cleaner is at its lowest ever price on Amazon right now.
Our reviewer found that it had 'the most powerful suction of any robot vacuum,' that they tried, plus they appreciated how it 'successfully avoided toys, piles of laundry and whatever else was left out on the floor'. Here's a chance to save on Samsung's smartwatch, with a deal on the predecessor to the latest Galaxy watch 7. This version doesn't have as many AI or sleep tracking features, but our tech reviewer said even those familiar with the Galaxy range 'would struggle to tell the difference between them'.

Toothbrush deals aren't just limited to Prime Day, as we often spot them throughout the whole year. This electric model is our best budget pick and is currently half price. Tech critic Steve Hogarty said, 'It has everything you really need and none of the frills: it's compatible with the standard Oral-B brush heads, it has a timer with 30-second pacing buzzes, three modes, a pressure sensor and a two-week battery life.' It left him with that classic 'just been to the dentist' feeling.
In his review, Steve explained that Suri's sustainable toothbrushes are designed to be 'more easily recycled or repaired'. Once your toothbrush has reached the end of its lifespan, you can send it back to the brand for free, and they will recycle it for you.
While we can't test these sustainability claims, our reviewer, Steve, was impressed with how the Suri toothbrush performed and liked its 'sleek, slim, and compact' design. With this deal, the brush has a fairly decent discount of 20 per cent off, and we'll be keeping an eye out for more reductions on Prime Day.
If you need a stain remover that lifts tough dirt, you can't go wrong with Vanish oxi action. We put its oxi action whitener to the test and found it 'effective on collar grime and food stains'. This version is better for dark and coloured clothing, as it doesn't include a whitener. However, with more than 50 per cent off, you won't be able to get this 1.4kg pack cheaper elsewhere, even on your weekly supermarket shop.
The stain remover also comes under Amazon's ' You Buy. We Donate ' campaign. When you buy two selected everyday essentials, Amazon will donate a third item to the Multibank charity, who distribute hygiene and household essentials to families in need across the UK.
This lightweight hair oil from Olaplex can be used as a pre-styling treatment, as it provides heat protection up to 230C. 'It doesn't leave my strands feeling heavy, weighed down,' said our tester. She also found that a little goes a long way and said, 'While the bottle looks decidedly small, from experience, it lasts a very long time'. You can save 20 per cent on the hair oil with this deal. We'll be on the lookout for price drops from the haircare brand as we approach Prime Day.
When we compared the original hydrating cleanser (£10, Amazon.co.uk) to this cream-to-foam iteration, our expert reviewer, Louise, said she was "pleasantly surprised at how rich and creamy the lather felt on [her] skin.' She added: 'If you love the hydrating cleanser but want a bit more make-up removing power and hydration thanks to the amino acids, we'd suggest trying the new version' – especially with 20 per cent off.

Do you need to be a Prime member?
If you want to take advantage of Prime Day discounts, you must be a Prime member. A Prime membership costs £8.99 a month, or £95 if you pay annually. If you're between 18 to 22-years-old, this is half the standard price, and you get a 6-month trial to see if it's for you. Perks include unlimited one-day delivery, access to Prime Video and the chance to shop Prime-exclusive deals.
However, if you're unsure about adding another monthly cost to your bills, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial. This will give you full access to all the Prime member benefits, and you can cancel at any time during your trial to avoid being charged when it expires. Just bear in mind that this only works if you haven't signed for the free trial before.

Steve Coogan has suggested that working class people are being 'ethnically cleansed' amid the redevelopment of northern cities. The Alan Partridge actor, 59, argued that investment in sophisticated skyscrapers did not benefit blue-collar workers. After backing the Greens at the last election, Mr Coogan appeared on BBC Breakfast on Friday to endorse the co-operative movement, which encourages businesses to share its profits among its employees. He said: 'The problem with all these cities like Liverpool and Manchester is they've got all these big shiny buildings, but all the people who are disenfranchised have been ethnically cleansed from the area. They don't actually benefit. 'What the co-operative movement does is tries to keep that money in the area and empower people and try to mitigate and push back against the effects of big business.' Mr Coogan also hit out at Nigel Farage 's Reform party for peddling 'racist rhetoric'. 'If the Government want to stop Reform making all these gains, instead of dealing with the symptoms of the problem by leaning into the racist rhetoric of Reform, they can deal with that by helping working people and the best way of doing that is to support the Co-operative movement,' he added. The comedian, who backed Labour under Jeremy Corbyn in both 2017 and 2019, criticised the political fabric of the UK, accusing governments of prioritising the wealthiest members of society. He claimed the co-operative movement aims to shift the focus towards working people and would soften the blow of Labour's recent welfare cuts which, after a chaotic backbench rebellion, saw the health element of Universal Credit halved. Last minute concessions, however, meant that radical changes to personal independence payment (Pip) would be delayed until November 2026. Mr Coogan also argued that a key reason post-industrial areas are 'dying' is the dominance of large supermarket chains. He claimed the co-operative movement would ensure less money left the local economy, with profits reinvested into key projects in the area. The movement is believed to date back to the 18th century but rose to prominence after the successful co-op at the Rochdale Pioneers' Shop in 1844. Mr Coogan pointed out that the idea was birthed in the UK but he suggested that it has been making bigger gains in other parts of the world. Earlier this year, the comedian starred in a two-part drama, written by James Graham, about Margaret Thatcher's 1989 interview with Brian Walden. The star, who plays the former Labour MP turned London Weekend Television host, said that he had 'huge antipathy' for the former PM describing himself as 'very anti-Thatcher'. He told the Radio Times: 'The one thing that I was worried about in this drama was being too compassionate because of her legacy.' The actor even took exception to a scene written by Sherwood writer Mr Graham, 42, for being 'too kind' to the Iron Lady and said that she would now be diagnosed with a 'disorder'. Mr Coogan added: 'In fact, in the edit we cut something because I thought it was a bit too kind and we wanted to remind people that there was this damage... 'She had vision and zeal, but she lacked empathy. Now, she'd probably be diagnosed with some sort of disorder.'

Scotch Corner Designer Village opening pushed back to 2027
A luxury retail park has pushed back its opening for a further time, nine years later than its original launch developers behind Scotch Corner Designer Village near Richmond said it would now open in spring 2027.A statement from the company said 50% of phase one of the development was built, with construction beginning on the second half in Simon Waterfield said the shopping outlet would feature local design talent and artisans, and create 1,300 jobs. He said: "This increased visitor time to the region is expected to boost the local economy substantially with additional tourism, overnight and longer visits."Scotch Corner Designer Village is committed to creating a low-carbon, sustainable shopping and leisure destination."The power services have been upgraded for the whole area and this fits with our commitment to eventually provide more than 250 electric car charging points."Plans for the designer village were approved by Richmondshire District Council in 2016, with developer Scotch Corner Richmond LLP originally saying it hoped the scheme would be open by late 2020 the group said it would launch in autumn 2023 but this was moved back to September 2024. According to developers the outlet has a projected annual footfall of four million, and has already let 82% of said retailers signed up included Monsoon, Lindt, M&S, Calvin Klein and Levi's, as well as restaurants Pizza Express, Pret A Manger, Wagamama and Five previously raised concerns about delays to the Angus Thompson said he believed a decision on the National Highways A66 dual carriageway upgrade would dictate to North Yorkshire Council, under the granted planning permission, amendments to Scotch Corner roundabout are required before the development can be brought into use.A spokesperson for Scotch Corner Designer Village said National Highways and Scotch Corner Richmond LLP had permission for the roadworks needed to open the said the works – which include widening nearby roads and adding more exits – would take six to nine months and be ready "well in advance of our planned opening date of spring 2027".
