When Cezanne Broke Silence On On-Set Tensions
Television actress Shweta Tiwari, who is often in the spotlight not just for her work but also for her personal affairs, finds herself at the center of renewed controversy. Known for her devoted parenting of her two children, Palak Tiwari and Reyansh Kohli, Shweta is now facing new allegations from her former husband, Raja Chaudhary. In a startling interview with Hindi Rush, Raja claimed that Shweta had been romantically involved with her Kasautii Zindagii Kay co-star, Cezanne Khan, during their marriage. He further revealed feeling dismissed and disrespected in their marital life, claiming he was often left feeling invisible. For viewers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Shweta and Cezanne were among television's most beloved on-screen couples. She portrayed the character of Prerna while Cezanne played Anurag Basu. Though their on-screen chemistry captivated audiences, industry buzz often hinted at a lack of warmth between the two actors in real life. Despite this, Raja alleged that a hidden romance bloomed off-screen. In a conversation with Pinkvilla Hindi Rush, Raja revealed that he had once visited Shweta on the sets of the show and found her and Cezanne sitting alone in a car, which he interpreted as evidence of a personal relationship.Raja admitted that although he suspected Shweta's extramarital involvement, he never found the courage to confront her directly. According to him, whenever he raised concerns, the narrative would quickly turn against him, with accusations about his drinking habits being used as a shield to deflect blame. Despite being insulted and emotionally distanced, Raja claimed he kept quiet for the sake of their daughter, Palak, enduring emotional turmoil in silence rather than risk disrupting her upbringing.Raja also shared that Shweta's career success created further emotional distance between them. He recalled how the massive popularity of Kasautii Zindagii Kay altered their dynamic. With fame came financial comfort, but it also brought a change in Shweta's behavior, he alleged. He expressed feelings of being pushed to the sidelines in both her personal and professional journey. He described feeling like an extra in his own marriage, as Shweta began to manage her work independently and, according to him, developed a condescending attitude. He felt alienated and reduced to a mere spectator as she rose in her career."I felt like I was a background dancer. There was too much attitude in her when she became successful; she stopped treating me like a person,' he said.Cezanne Khan, for his part, has previously acknowledged the strained equation between him and Shweta during the shooting of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. In an earlier interview with The Times of India, he confirmed that there was a phase when the two actors were not on talking terms. Although they portrayed romantic leads on-screen, their real-life relationship was reportedly distant and cold. He emphasized, however, that both maintained professionalism throughout and did not let personal differences interfere with their performance.A Timeline of Shweta's Marital JourneyShweta and Raja married in 1998 and welcomed their daughter Palak in 2000. Their relationship, however, began to unravel, and by 2007, Shweta sought legal separation. She accused Raja of domestic abuse and alcoholism. Their divorce was legally finalized in 2012 after a long and contentious battle that played out in the public eye. Since their separation, Palak has lived primarily with Shweta.Following her divorce from Raja, Shweta later married actor Abhinav Kohli. The couple had a son, Reyansh, but this marriage too ended in divorce. Reyansh is also currently being raised by Shweta. Over the years, both of Shweta's marriages have been subjected to intense media scrutiny, making her private life a regular subject of public discussion.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), India's longest-running sitcom, is currently in the spotlight amid reports that lead actors Dilip Joshi (Jethalal) and Munmun Dutta (Babita) may be exiting the show. While the makers have denied the claims, the departure of several popular actors in the past has sparked debate. Former Sonu Bhide, actress Nidhi Bhanushali, recently weighed in on the topic during an interview with Hindi Rush. Nidhi, who left the show years ago, said she remains in touch with co-stars like Dilkush Reporter, Bhavya Gandhi, and Kush Shah. When asked about the buzz surrounding Dilip Joshi, Munmun Dutta, and Tanuj Mahashabde possibly leaving the show, she pointed out that monotony can affect anyone. Her comments come at a time when the show's producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, has clarified that both Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta are still very much a part of the show. Nidhi Bhanushali played Sonu Bhide, the only daughter of Atmaram Bhide, in TMKOC. She was loved for her bubbly and cheerful portrayal before she exited the show to pursue her own path. Pakistani Actor Mawra Hocane's Instagram Account Visible In India
Mawra gained popularity in India after she starred in the 2016 Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam alongside Harshvardhan Rane. Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane's Instagram account is now visible in India. On Tuesday, several users of the social media platform noticed that they could see Mawra's Instagram handle, which was banned a couple of months back after the tensions between India and Pakistan escalated. While Mawra's account is visible, Instagram handles of other Pakistani artists including Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Atif Aslam and Fawad Khan, remain 'unavailable". Mawra gained popularity in India after she starred in the 2016 Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam alongside Harshvardhan Rane. However, after the shocking terror attack in Pahalgam in April this year, which killed 26 people, the tensions between India and Pakistan escalated, following which the Indian government announced a complete ban on Pakistani artists and banned their Instagram accounts in the country. The Government of India also issued an advisory to OTT platforms, media streaming services, and intermediaries regarding content originating from Pakistan. All streaming platforms were advised to discontinue Pakistan-origin content, including films, web series, songs, and podcasts, with immediate effect. The advisory references the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, highlighting that publishers must avoid content that affects India's sovereignty and integrity. Later, Mawra was also removed from the sequel of Sanam Teri Kasam. Harshvardhan Rane had also issued a statement on Instagram, in which he revealed that he would refuse to be a part of Sanam Teri Kasam 2 if the producers would go ahead with the same cast. 'While I am grateful for the experience however as things stand, and after reading the direct comments made about my country, I have made a decision to respectfully decline to be a part of 'Sanam Teri Kasam' part 2 if there is any possibility of the previous cast being repeated," he had written. However, the makers later announced that Mawra has been removed from the film's franchise. 'Mawra definitely nahi hai (Mawra is definitely not a part of it)," the film's directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru told Hindi Rush. First Published: July 01, 2025, 19:42 IST
