Actor Yami Gautam has praised her husband-filmmaker Aditya Dhar's latest offering, the first look of Dhurandhar. The film stars Ranveer Singh, alongside Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal. The first look was unveiled to mark Ranveer's 40th birthday today, July 6.
Yami Gautam took to X and reposted the first look from Dhurandhar. She started her note by lauding the film's director, her husband Aditya Dhar of URI: The Surgical Strike fame. She also acknowledged the film's cast and crew. 'Your hardwork, grit, talent, patience & journey is nothing short of a film in itself !This echoes your love for cinema & audience @AdityaDharFilms! Like Yami, the Internet can't stop raving about Ranveer Singh's beast mode from Dhurandhar. Ranveer Singh looks menacing in the first look from Dhurandhar. The actor, in long hair and a smoke in his mouth, kills and beats in style, like it's no task. With upbeat music in the backdrop, the film offers a glimpse into the violence and gore in store. Apart from Ranveer, makers have also dropped first looks of the film's other leading cast, comprising Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna. Arjun Rampal, who is one of the key characters in the film, looked intriguing in a never-seen-before rugged avatar, sporting a golden tooth, vintage metallic shades, dense grey beard and classic raw expressions. The film's leading leady, Tamil actor Sara Arjun, was also introduced.
Presented by Jio Studios, a B62 Studios production, Dhurandhar is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, along with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The film uncovers the untold saga of the origins of the unknown men. It hits the screen on December 5, 2025.
