Caitlin Clark rocked custom Nike shoes honoring her dog in her WNBA return
Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark made her triumphant return to the basketball court on Saturday at home after missing the last couple of weeks with a quad strain.
For this special occasion, Clark rocked a custom pair of Nike Proto PE's called "The Bellas" in a tribute to her dog, Bella.
The shoes have an adorable photo of Bella on the back of the soles, which makes the custom game sneakers all the more awesome.
We love that Clark found a way to honor her beloved pup in her big WNBA return against the New York Liberty at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Dogs are the best, of course, and so are these custom Nike game shoes.

Mercury's Kahleah Copper slams 'distasteful' Fever fans for booing DeWanna Bonner

The Phoenix Mercury's DeWanna Bonner made her return to the Indiana Fever on July 30 after being waived by the team on June 25 after it couldn't find a trade partner for her. Fever fans apparently don't have fond memories of her short tenure in Indiana. They booed Bonner relentlessly during the Fever's 107-101 win over Phoenix, with some fans also talking trash to the WNBA player and yelling out "quitter," according to the Indianapolis Star. The treatment of Bonner did not sit well with the Mercury's Kahleah Copper, who slammed the Fever fans for their "distasteful" behavior toward her teammate after the game. More: Phoenix Mercury's losing streak against Indiana Fever extends to 6 games Kahleah Copper calls out 'distasteful' Indiana Fever fans 'I just don't understand,' Copper told reporters about the fans' behavior toward Bonner. 'She a legend and just all the things she's done for the league. Just the disrespect, I can't get down with it. They booed her. She didn't say a word to the crowd. People talk some trash to her, but we had her back. 'It's just very distasteful for what their fan base is doing as far as when it comes to [Bonner] because she's just sweet or so. The situation didn't work for her. That's just not what she wanted or whatever, but we don't need all of that. It's just unnecessary.' DeWanna Bonner on Fever: 'The fit did not work out' Indiana signed Bonner in the offseason, but she requested a trade after just nine games with the team. After being away from the team for five games for personal reasons, the Fever released her and Bonner signed with the Mercury, where she began her NBA career. 'I want to sincerely thank the Indiana Fever for the opportunity to be part of the Fever franchise," Bonner said in a news release upon her release from the team. "Despite our shared goals and excitement heading into the season, I felt the fit did not work out and I appreciate the organization's willingness to grant my request to move on, particularly at this point in my career. I wish the Fever great success as they continue to build around this dynamic group of young players.' Some Indiana fans harbor ill feelings toward Bonner, based on their treatment of her during the game. Alyssa Thomas, Bonner's teammate and fiancée, was seen at one point yelling at some people in the crowd, presumably over the treatment of Bonner. What Nate Tibbetts said about Fever fans' treatment of DeWanna Bonner Mercury coach Nate Tibbetts had a much more guarded reaction to Bonner's reception than Copper and other Mercury players. "I didn't see that, (but) I would guess so. AT (Alyssa Thomas) is a competitive player. Just like their players talk to their fans, our players are going to do the same," Tibbetts told reporters after the game. "I thought (Bonner) handled it fine. That's how sports work, you go to a former home of yours when you don't leave on your terms and typically fans aren't going to be happy. That's what they did tonight." Sophie Cunningham reveals what she wants in a man and it's not Tom Brady

Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham has revealed what she's looking for in a dating partner - and it's not Tom Brady. The 28-year-old University of Missouri Alum opened up about her dating preferences on the first episode of her new podcast, "Show Me Something," co-starred by her childhood friend, "Summer House" reality star West Wilson. During the Monday, July 28 episode, Wilson told Cunningham that he met Brady a few weeks ago, to which Cunningham replied, "How much Botox does he have?" "He probably does (have Botox), but he's very handsome," Wilson replied to the WNBA star. That's when Cunningham revealed her preference in men. "I think I like more of a manly man," Cunningham said. "I don't want my man having Botox." "Like don't have Botox in your head, anywhere," the Fever star quipped, adding that a man similar to the character Rip on the hit series "Yellowstone" isn't her type either. "I didn't even have her by the hair," Cunningham recalled to Wilson. "I grabbed her by the neck." Cunningham says she's seen an uptick in older "thirsty guys" as followers following the on court fight. "I went from I think like 350,00 (on Instagram) and like maybe 200,000 on TikTok," the Fever star said. ""It blew up overnight." She now boasts 1.1 million followers on Instagram and 1.6 million on TikTok. "I worked my whole life to become a WNBA basketball player, and now people know me as WWE," the Fever star said while laughing humbly. Kahleah Copper calls Indiana Fever fans 'very distasteful' for booing DeWanna Bonner

DeWanna Bonner's abrupt departure from the Indiana Fever earlier this season got a little messier on Wednesday, July 30. She returned to Gainbridge Fieldhouse with the Phoenix Mercury for the first time since the team granted the six-time WNBA All-Star a release on June 25. Fever fans booed Bonner throughout Indiana's 107-101 win, and one of her new star teammates with the Mercury took issue with the treatment during a news conference after the game. "I think she handled it well. I just, I don't understand," Kahleah Copper said of Bonner, according to the Indianapolis Star. "She's a legend and just all the things she's done for the league, and just the disrespect, I can't get down with it. They booed her. She didn't say a word to the crowd. People talked some trash to her, but we had her back." "But it's just very distasteful for what their fan base is doing as far as when it comes to DB because she's just the sweetest soul," Copper continued. "And the situation didn't work for her and that's just not what she wanted, or whatever, it's just we don't need all of that. It's unnecessary." WHOA: Caitlin Clark rookie card sells for $660,000, breaking women's sports card record Bonner was booed when she checked into the game for the first time with about seven minutes left in the first quarter, according to the Indianapolis Star. The boos resumed when she got the ball for the first time and then reached their peak when Bonner was fouled on a 3-point attempt and went to the free throw line. Some fans yelled "quitter," the Indianapolis Star reported. Bonner, 37, was signed to a one-year contract to provide veteran support for Caitlin Clark and the Fever, but she lost her starting job early on this season and fell out of the regular rotation. She then missed five games in June for "personal reasons" and requested a trade. She was released by Indiana on June 25 after the team was unable to trade her. Bonner signed with the Phoenix Mercury on July 8, rejoining the team she won two WNBA championships with and played the first 10 seasons of her career. The move also reunited Bonner with her fiancée, forward Alyssa Thomas. Thomas waved on the crowd after Bonner was fouled in the first quarter in Wednesday's return game, according to the Indianapolis Star, and then could be seen on the broadcast apparently yelling at fans in the stands. "I didn't see that, (but) I would guess so. AT is a competitive player. Just like their players talk to their fans, our players are going to do the same," Mercury coach Nate Tibbetts told reporters after the game. "I thought (Bonner) handled it fine," he added. "That's how sports work. You go to a former home of yours when you don't leave on your terms and typically fans aren't going to be happy. That's what they did tonight." The 6-foot-4 Bonner is averaging 8.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists through 15 games with the Mercury and Fever. She had four points and a rebound in 20 minutes of action in Wednesday's loss to the Fever.
