That kind of elite talent has helped LSU rise near the top of the 2026 recruiting rankings.
Keys, a five-star pass catcher out of Mississippi, is known for his explosive playmaking and strong hands. Brown, a versatile in-state standout, is widely regarded as the best all-around athlete in the country. On the defensive line, Anderson brings power and quickness to the trenches, rounding out a trio of five-star talent that has LSU fans fired up for the future.
Head coach Brian Kelly is now in a position where expectations are higher than ever. He has been solid in his first few seasons in Baton Rouge, but Kelly is looking to take that next step toward returning LSU to a national championship contender. Landing top-tier recruits is a key part of that vision, and LSU is doing everything it can to support it.

That includes increased investment in name, image and likeness (NIL) deals. According to Yahoo Sports, LSU's football collective has spent about $12 million over the past three seasons on NIL deals for its roster.
That number is expected to grow, with more donor support and long-term NIL strategies being developed behind the scenes via the school's official collective, Bayou Traditions.

In today's college football landscape, stacking talent is only part of the formula. Programs also need the financial backing to keep players supported and competitive. LSU is clearly making that commitment, as evidenced by the improved early returns in attracting top players.

With momentum building on the recruiting trail and increased NIL support, LSU looks poised to make a serious push in the immediate future.

Fever Coach Stephanie White's Blunt Response to Exciting Caitlin Clark News

Fever Coach Stephanie White's Blunt Response to Exciting Caitlin Clark News originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Looking for their third straight win, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever visited Boston to take on coach Stephanie White's former team, the Connecticut Sun, on Tuesday at TD Garden. Advertisement In her second WNBA season, Clark has seen a drop in her scoring production from last year, averaging 16.7 points on 37.4% shooting, 4.8 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game. She is also having one of the worst 3-point shooting seasons of her career, averaging just 28.9% through 12 games. But a three-game stretch before Clark's groin injury may have cost her total average. From June 19-24, she shot 1-of-23 from distance, good for 4.3%. Still, despite the recent shooting woes, Clark accepted an invite to perform in the 3-point contest at the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend, which will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis). The former Iowa star notably did not participate in 2024. When asked about Clark playing in the 3-point contest, White shared her response. Advertisement "She doesn't need any pointers from me," White said. "No, we haven't talked about it. In fact, I saw it on the news. But, I mean, I'm happy that she's doing it. Certainly, in the state of Indiana and Indianapolis, so it's a great opportunity to continue to showcase what she does best to our fans and WNBA All-Star fans." Along with Clark, four other WNBA stars will be participating in the 3-point contest. Those include Washington Mystics guard Sonia Citron, Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray, New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu and Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum. The 2025 WNBA 3-point shootout will take place on Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET, before the All-Star game the following day. After Tuesday's game, the Fever will have one final battle before the big weekend, facing the Liberty on Wednesday. Paul Skenes gives Livvy Dunne a helping hand as they stun at MLB All-Star Game red carpet

Paul Skenes' prowess as a boyfriend might match what he can do on the mound. The Pirates pitcher stopped on the MLB All-Star Game red carpet to help his girlfriend, social media influencer and former LSU gymnast, Olivia 'Livvy' Dunne, re-lace her heel after it apparently came undone. The right-handed flamethrower dropped to one knee as cameras caught him assisting Dunne with her heel before the two continued on. The pair walked the red carpet outside Truist Park in Atlanta ahead of the All-Star Game, which Skenes is starting on the mound for the National League. Skenes sported a grey-looking David Alan suit that featured a light blue collar along with a pair of aviator sunglasses. Dunne arrived in a navy blue sleeveless Silvia Tcherassi dress that she paired with white lace-up heels. 3 National League pitcher Paul Skenes (30) of the Pittsburgh Pirates and social media influencer Livvy Dunne pose for a photo on the red carpet before the 2025 MLB All Star Game at Truist Park. Brett Davis-Imagn Images Dunne shared the MLB social media post on her Instagram story that featured the words, 'Gentleman Paul Skenes.' The 22-year-old also shared the footage on her TikTok page and captioned the post, 'Big P to the rescue,' along with a flaming heart emoji. Skenes and Dunne have been dating for two years after meeting while athletes at LSU. 3 Paul Skenes #30 of the Pittsburgh Pirates walks on the red carpet with his girlfriend Livvy Dunne ahead of the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park on July 15, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his second consecutive All-Star start, though he has only recorded four wins on a struggling Pirates squad. 'Yes [wins and losses matter]. They do,' Skenes told MLB Network on the red carpet. 'It's not a perfect stat. It definitely matters because I think it's indicative of whether you're in the game when the game is being decided, I guess. If you're helping your team win or lose, you're probably in the game at that time, I think.' Skenes said that he's always tinkering with his pitches during the course of the season since spring training. Dunne graduated from LSU in December and hinted that she could look to do some acting in the future. 3 Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Livvy Dunne walk the red carpet during the 2025 All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Deer Park at Battery Ave on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. 'I've really enjoyed watching him, but right now, I'm also going to try to do more performing arts stuff myself. I've always loved to perform as a gymnast, whether it's diving into acting or some kind of other art, I've always been passionate about.'

LSU? Clemson? Head Coach Brian Kelly Thinks LSU Is 'THE Death Valley'

The start of college football is looming, with Week 1 filled with marquee matchups. One of the most anticipated battles will be between the two Tigers. The LSU Tigers will travel to Death Valley for a primetime showdown against the Clemson Tigers on Aug. 30. While both stadiums are known as Death Valley, LSU head coach Brian Kelly says they're letting Clemson borrow the name. Since Kelly's time at LSU, the Tigers are 0-3 in season openers, and Clemson could be their toughest opponent yet. In 2024's Week 1, LSU fell short to the USC Trojans, losing 27-20. The 2023 season saw Brian Kelly face his worst season opener, losing 45-24 to Florida State. Going back to his first season leading the Tigers, Kelly also lost to the Seminoles, 24-23. As the winningest active NCAA coach with 313 victories, Kelly boasts a 29-11 overall record and a 17-7 SEC record. Entering his 18th season as Clemson head coach, Dabo Swinney has had more success in season openers, with a 12-4 record. However, Clemson has also struggled in its recent season openers, suffering a 34-3 defeat to Georgia in 2024 and a 28-7 loss to Duke in 2023. With a 180-47 overall record, Swinney is the all-time winningest coach in Tiger history. While Clemson opens as a three-point favorite in the Week 1 matchup, LSU leads the all-time series between the Tiger teams 3-1. Want great stories delivered right to your inbox?
