Oasis fan paid £35 for restricted view ticket and 'couldn't believe' what happened
Like many, she missed out - but this week her luck changed as just days before the band opened their tour at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, some very lucky fans received an email to tell them to look out for the chance to bag some late release tickets. And to Kelly's surprise, they were a lot cheaper than she expected.
Instead of paying the anticipated £150 per ticket for Liam and Noel Gallgher's first show back together as a band, Kelly, who is a sales director forked out £35. The only sticking point is that it was for a seat advertised as 'restricted view' - but turned out better than expected, Wales Online reports.

Kelly told Wales Online: "By that point I'd given up hope. I had been checking the Ticketmaster website but everything was really high priced. I was expecting to pay around £150 a ticket for the area we sat in. I also knew how scarce the tickets are and it was opening night too."
Kelly's seat was in block U5, which is right in the top left corner of the map below and on the upper level. And she couldn't get over the price.
"I genuinely thought I'd messed up at first and had only bought one ticket. (Kelly bought two) When I went back and saw I'd got them for £34.50 each, I thought there had been a mistake.
"I then text a friend who works for the stadium and checked that I didn't have fake tickets! I genuinely couldn't believe it." Kelly hadn't been scammed and the U5 experience was "worth every penny."
"The view was brilliant," she added. "You could see the entire stage from side on and you even got to see backstage too when they were walking in which brilliant as they (Noel and Liam) turned to us and clapped when we all cheered.
"The screen was bent backwards so we had view of half of the screen. There was plenty of space too for us to dance. Great seats."
On reflection Kelly wishes she'd got more to be able to ask more friends, but she was afraid they'd sell out if she entered the buying process again.
"Absolutely worth every penny. I can't believe I got to see Oasis on the history making opening night for £34.50! Im so lucky!"
During the opening gig on July 4, frontman Liam Gallagher made reference to the tickets controversy. Addressing the crowd, he asked: "You all having a good time, yeah?"
He then added: "Was it worth the £40,000 you paid for a ticket?"
Oasis tickets can still be obtained from a variety of online retailers, both official and unofficial resale websites - even at the eleventh hour.
Ticketmaster will be the first port of call for fans as the original selling platform for the tour. However, the online ticketing behemoth hasn't had any tickets available for quite some time, bar a few production holds.
At present, only individuals with allocated codes are able to purchase resale tickets. Here's the link:
TICKETMASTER - Buy Oasis tickets here.
Resale sites such as Viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions to confirm whether resale is allowed before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
If you prefer to do your own digging, we've got you covered. Here's a comprehensive list of resale websites where you can find Oasis tickets, including official resale website Twickets:
Resale websites should be the primary focus for fans. Oasis have designated Twickets as their official resale website, but they haven't had tickets available for a considerable period.
Fans have been gravitating towards Viagogo, Vivid Seats and StubHub. At the time of writing, some Oasis tickets are being sold on Viagogo for approximately £200 each.

The Bayeux Tapestry will be displayed in the UK for the first time in nearly 1,000 years
LONDON (AP) — The Bayeux Tapestry, the 11th-century artwork depicting the conquest of England, will be displayed in the U.K. for the first time in almost 1,000 years. Officials said Tuesday that the treasured medieval tapestry will be on loan from France and arrive next year at the British Museum, where it will star in a blockbuster exhibition from September 2026 to July 2027. The loan was announced during French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to the U.K. The fragile 70-meter (230-foot) cloth depicts the events leading up to the Norman conquest of England by William the Conqueror in 1066. The artwork was believed to have been commissioned by Bishop Odo of Bayeux and has been displayed in various locations across France, including most recently at the Bayeux Museum in Normandy. 'The Bayeux Tapestry is one of the most iconic pieces of art ever produced in the U.K. and I am delighted that we will be able to welcome it here in 2026,' Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said in a statement. 'This loan is a symbol of our shared history with our friends in France, a relationship built over centuries and one that continues to endure,' she added. In return, the British Museum will loan treasures from the Sutton Hoo collection — artifacts from a 7th century Anglo Saxon ship burial — to museums in Normandy. The excavation of Sutton Hoo was dramatized in the 2021 film 'The Dig' starring Ralph Fiennes and Carey Mulligan. Other items to be loaned to France include the Lewis Chessmen, the mysterious medieval chess pieces carved from walrus tusks and whales' teeth dating from around the 12th century that were discovered on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland.

Chappell Roan's Brand New No. 1 Single
Chappell Roan's 'The Giver' debuts at No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart in the U.K., marking ... More her third chart-topper — and third consecutive leader — on the list. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 25: Chappell Roan at the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix's "Olivia Rodrigo: GUTS World Tour" at NYA EAST on October 25, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Momodu Mansaray/FilmMagic) After breaking into the mainstream and becoming one of the hottest new names in pop music, Chappell Roan switched things up in early 2025. The world has been eager for new music from the Grammy-winning superstar, and for months, all she's been promoting is 'The Giver,' which has divided listeners. The track sounds nothing like the tunes that turned her into a global powerhouse, as it moved Roan into country-pop territory. 'The Giver' returns to several charts in the United Kingdom this week and debuts on a pair of tallies at the same time, after the vinyl edition of the single finally shipped to fans. "The Giver" Returns and Debuts 'The Giver' opens at No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, which ranks the bestselling individual tracks on that format in the U.K. As the track launches, Roan earns her third No. 1 on the list, as her country-leaning cut joins 'Good Luck, Babe!' and 'Pink Pony Club,' both of which also reached the top spot. Roan has only sent three tracks to the Official Vinyl Singles chart throughout her career, and all of them have hit No. 1. That means her track record on the roster remains unbroken. Chappell Roan Debuts at No. 2 Elsewhere While 'The Giver' rules the Official Vinyl Singles chart, it misses out on opening in the same spot on the Official Physical Singles tally. On that ranking, Roan starts the tune at No. 2. She also reappears in the same position on the Official Singles Sales list, which is not limited to any one format. 'The Giver' has already spent 10 weeks on that roster, and previously stalled in the runner-up spot when it was brand new and only available digitally. 'The Giver' Just Misses the Top 40 'The Giver' also originally missed out on becoming a champion on the Official Singles chart by just one space, when it was brand new and it peaked at No. 2. Though the tune returns to that roster, it doesn't appear in as lofty a position as on sales-focused lists. Roan narrowly fails to send 'The Giver' back into the top 40, as it reenters the all-consumption ranking at No. 43. Chappell Roan's Latest Remains a Standalone Hit For the moment, 'The Giver' is a standalone single, just like 'Good Luck, Babe!' which helped catapult her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess to great commercial success — even though the tune isn't featured on that full-length. Anticipation for Roan's sophomore project is high, though the singer-songwriter hasn't given any real signs that she's ready to deliver an album. So, for now, 'The Giver' must exist on its own as a bestseller.
