Post Malone Claims A New Longest-Charting Hit
For years, Post Malone found incredible success in the music industry by switching genres. He first emerged as an exciting new name in the hip-hop space, collecting multiple diamond-certified smashes. He then pivoted again and conquered the charts once more with pop hits that are still played on the radio today. Most artists struggle to score several wins in one field, let alone several, but the Grammy nominee is an outlier, as he's not afraid to mix things up, and his fan base is along for the ride.
His biggest hit of all – one which reaches an important number this week – is the one that helped him jump into the country space, which made quite the splash upon its arrival.
"I Had Some Help" Becomes Post Malone's Biggest Hot 100 Hit
When Malone was preparing to release his first country album F-1 Trillion, he fronted the project with a superstar collaboration alongside Morgan Wallen. Malone dropped "I Had Some Help" in mid-2024, and the tune was an immediate smash. That track now becomes Malone's longest-running hit on the Hot 100 as it earns its sixty-second stay on the tally.
"I Had Some Help" Beats 'Circles'
"I Had Some Help" was tied last week as Malone's longest-charting Hot 100 single, matching "Circles" with 61 frames on the list. Now, the duet pushes past the pop favorite, and it's not likely to disappear anytime soon.
"I Had Some Help" is still present inside the top 20 on the Hot 100 this week, dipping from No. 14 to No. 19. The tune could rebound, after several newer arrivals begin to descend or disappear entirely, and it seems likely that the collaboration will further its lead over Malone's own "Circles" and continue its reign as his longest-running hit for some time.
Morgan Wallen Nearly Matches the Same Feat
The same single is also tied as Wallen's longest-charting Hot 100 success story, matching the 62 weeks that "You Proof" managed a few years back. In just a few days, when Billboard publishes its rankings again, it's likely that Wallen will see "I Had Some Help" beat "You Proof" for good.

Oasis dedicate song to ‘people who can't be here tonight' at Wembley gig
Oasis dedicated Live Forever to 'all the people who can't be here tonight' during their Wembley Stadium gig on Sunday, after a fan fell to his death at the band's convert on Saturday. The touching moment came as the Manchester band brought to a close their first run of five gigs at the venue as part of their Live 25 tour. A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene at the stadium on Saturday after being 'found with injuries consistent with a fall'. Addressing fans on Sunday night after finishing Whatever, singer Liam Gallagher said: 'This one's for all the people who can't be here tonight, but who are here if you know what I mean, and aren't they looking lovely. Live Forever.' The band then played the track of the same name. The tribute came during a crowd-pleasing set packed with their biggest hits such as Cigarettes And Alcohol, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger, with the group set to return to the national football stadium for two further dates in September. Liam and Noel Gallagher arrived on stage hand-in-hand, opening with Hello, from their 1995 album (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, prompting mass football terrace-style singalongs for an opening salvo of fan favourites that included Acquiesce, Some Might Say and Morning Glory. Before Roll With It, Liam joked to the crowd that guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs wanted to sing Bonehead's Bank Holiday, an album track from (What's The Story) Morning Glory? During 1994 standalone single Whatever, the band made a nod to their Beatles influence by including a snippet of Octopus's Garden, from 1969's Abbey Road album. Before Half The World Away, Noel asked the crowd if there was anyone from Manchester in the crowd, receiving a number of boos. He replied: 'None of you would be here if it wasn't for the city of Manchester.' The set climaxed with fireworks erupting over Wembley as the band played Champagne Supernova. Before the final song, Liam told the crowd: 'Nice one for putting up with us after all these years.' The run of concerts has been the first time they have appeared together onstage at the London venue since July 12 2009, when they performed during the Dig Out Your Soul tour. After the first part of their Wembley stint, the band will head to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium followed by Dublin's Croke Park. The group will head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America later in the year. Oasis announced their reunion tour in August last year, 16 years after their dramatic split in 2009 which saw Noel quit following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

Oasis Says It's ‘Shocked' by Death of Fan at London Concert
The death of a man at an Oasis concert on Saturday in London has cast a pall over the long-awaited reunion tour of the '90s Britpop band, which began with fanfare last month. The concertgoer, whose name was not released, apparently fell from the upper tiers of Wembley Stadium about the time the show was winding down, based on initial assessments. 'We are shocked & saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night,' the band said Sunday in a statement that was reported by British news media. 'Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.' The band was preparing to play another concert at Wembley on Sunday, its last show in London this month. (The band's management company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.) The Metropolitan Police said that officers working at the stadium, medics and ambulance service workers responded to reports of an injury around 10:20 p.m. The concertgoer was in his 40s and had 'injuries consistent with a fall,' the police said in a statement. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The authorities were seeking information from the public to help them determine what happened. 'We believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage,' the police statement said. Want all of The Times? President Donald Trump Is ‘Seriously' Considering Pardoning Diddy Following Conviction: Report
President Donald Trump could hand Sean 'Diddy' Combs a lifeline following the music mogul's conviction earlier this month, according to a new report. Deadline reported late Tuesday, July 29, that Trump is 'seriously' considering pardoning Diddy, 55, citing a Trump administration source. Us Weekly understands that the White House does not comment on potential pardons. Diddy's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Trump first floated a potential pardon for Diddy in May after he issued pardons to reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley. 'I would certainly look at the facts. If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don't like me, it wouldn't have any impact on me,' he commented during a May 30 Oval Office press conference. A Complete Timeline of All the Allegations and the Verdict in the Diddy Trial Trump also discussed his personal relationship with the incarcerated musician. 'He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics … that relationship busted up, from what I read,' he said. 'I don't know — he didn't tell me that, but I'd read some little bit nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden.' Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on July 2. The rapper was cleared of three of the most egregious charges against him: two counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy. (Diddy has maintained his innocence since his September 2024 arrest and denied all the charges against him.) The Bad Boy Records founder is currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, pending sentencing on October 3. He could face up to 20 years in prison less time already served. On Tuesday, Diddy's attorneys filed yet another motion asking Judge Arun Subramanian to let him out on bail as he awaits sentencing. His lawyers are requesting he is released on a $50 million bond. Diddy's Life After Trial: Who Still Fears for Their Safety — And Why His Career May Not Be Over The motion said, in part, 'Sean Combs should not be in jail for this conduct. In fact, he may be the only person currently in a United States jail for being any sort of john, and certainly the only person in jail for hiring adult male escorts for him and his girlfriend, when he did not even have sex with the escort himself.' A pardon for Diddy is not without precedent, as Trump, 79, already wielded his presidential powers to pardon two other celebrities earlier this year: the Chrisleys. In May, Trump issued pardons to Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, following their 2022 convictions on charges including tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. (The former Chrisley Knows Best stars have maintained their innocence.) Todd was initially sentenced to 12 years in prison, and Julie received a seven-year sentence. The couple reported to their respective prisons in Pensacola, Florida, and Lexington, Kentucky, in January 2023. They were both released on May 28. 'It's a terrible thing, but it's a great thing, because your parents are going to be free and clean,' Trump told Todd and Julie's daughter Savannah Chrisley via a phone call shared via X on May 27. 'I hope we can do it by tomorrow. I don't know them, but give them my regards. Wish them a good life.' Trump said Todd and Julie received 'pretty harsh treatment,' adding, 'Congratulate your parents. I hear they're terrific people. This should not have happened. … They have good children. You're no longer children, but I'll say it anyway. They have good children, don't they?'
