Dick and Angel Strawbridge, the beloved duo behind Channel 4's Escape to the Chateau, have been inundated with warm wishes after they provided fans with an update. Despite their Channel 4 series concluding in 2022, they continue to delight followers with snippets from their French life.
The pair, who celebrated their union at their chateau in 2015, took to social media with a collection of photos capturing moments with their nearest and dearest as they embarked on this year's initial festivities.
With a set of heartwarming pictures featuring their children Arthur, 12, and Dorothy, 11, they shared: "Wow! What a week! ! First events of the year and the sun certainly had his hat on!
"The Chateau was filled with love, laughter and plenty of hugs as we made memories together! We were blown away by how many people came from around the world. Thank you. We are now working on our 2026 dates so watch this space..." They concluded the update, wishing everyone: "Have a Marvellous Monday!"
As the news spread, fans flocked to comment, showering the post with uplifting remarks as one wrote: "Amazing! ! So miss watching you guys!!"

'Taskmaster Greg Davies and sidekick Little Alex Horne oversee the weird, wonderful, BAFTA-winning comedy game show.' Comedian and writer Ania has appeared on Live at the Apollo. She has also written for Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date and Frankie Boyle's New World Order. The star has taken part in The Comedy Guide to Life and Succession. Presenter Maisie Adam shot to fame in 2016 and is best known for being a comedian. She has been in A League Of Their Own, The Stand-up Sketch Show, Who I Lie To You and Roast Battle. Meanwhile Phil is a funnyman who has been on The Russel Howard Hour, Roast Battle and Big Night Out. He's also had his own BBC Radio 4 show called Phil Ellis is Trying. Earlier this week, Channel 4 quietly added the gripping crime drama The Shadow to its online catalogue, based on Melanie Raabe's 2021 novel. In the series, Deleila Piasko stars as journalist Norah, who hopes for a fresh start in Vienna but is haunted by a prophecy that she will murder a man. Earlier this year, Sanjeev Bhaskar opened up to The Mirror about losing out on a film role after gaining weight for the character. 'The main character was a Singapore-based sleuth who was really overweight, so I got fat by eating anything and everything for an appreciable period of time,' he explained. 'But the financing on Inspector Singh Investigates fell apart, it was no longer happening, leaving me to lose a stone and a half.'
