Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's eldest son Akash Ambani postponed his wedding with Shloka Mehta for some months due to...
Isha Ambani, the daughter of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, is well-known not just because of her role as a Director at Reliance Industries, but also for her elegant style and public appearances. Isha is married to Anand Piramal, the son of Ajay and Swati Piramal. Ajay Piramal is the founder of Piramal Realty which is a leading real estate company in India. Isha and Anand got married on December 12, 2018, in Mumbai. Interestingly, Isha got married before her twin brother Akash Ambani even though he was engaged before her.
Akash Ambani delayed his own wedding for sister Isha
Akash and Isha Ambani, the twin children of Asia's richest man Mukesh and Nita Ambani had grand weddings just three months apart. While their celebrations grabbed headlines, many don't know the emotional story behind how Akash chose to postpone his own wedding for the sake of his sister.
In an 2019 interview with Vogue, Isha Ambani shared a touching moment that shows just how kind and thoughtful her brother Akash is. She revealed that although Akash had been engaged to Shloka Mehta first and had already set his wedding dates, he willingly gave up those dates so that Isha could get married first.
Recalling his words, Isha said, 'He told me, 'I'll get married afterwards, you take my wedding dates.''
She described Akash as the most 'dayalu' (a Hindi word meaning kind-hearted and compassionate) person she knows, saying, 'He's empathetic, gracious, and gentle – just like Shloka.'
Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani, became parents after seven years of marriage. She and her twin brother, Akash, are IVF babies. She revealed that her mother became a full-time mother and went back to work after they turned five.
This simple but powerful gesture touched Isha deeply and showed the strong bond between the twins. In a world full of grandeur, this story stood out as a beautiful example of love, respect, and selflessness between siblings.

John Abraham 'disheartened' as his film 'Tehran' releases on OTT: 'Theatres were a little wary of picking up a film that had Iran and Israel and...'
The actor also said, 'The film is called Tehran and once you enter Tehran, you are not going to be speaking in Hindi. I think my producer is best equipped to answer that question.' read more John Abraham's film Tehran has been awaiting its release since 2023. It finally releases on Zee5 during the Independence Day weekend. And in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor broke his silence on the same. John revealed, 'It's very disheartening. I'm not going to mince my words on it, but it breaks your heart, especially for an actor who always wants to be seen on the big screen. But we all made a very informed decision on that. And the decision was that because of the conflicts and controversies that are happening around internationally.' STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The actor added, 'Theatres were a little wary of picking up a film that had Iran and Israel in it. We had a choice of either showing the film somewhere or not showing it at all.' On the film's limited audience Zee5 has been gracious and told us they would be our platform. But it also breaks your heart as an actor who only wants to be seen on the big screen. I treat this more like a foreign film in a way. When you will see the film, you will understand that why it will not resonate with a larger audience. It has got a lot of Farsi in it and a lot of Hebrew in it. It's only 1 hour and 50 minutes long. It's got a lot of foreign language in it. The film is called Tehran and once you enter Tehran, you are not going to be speaking in Hindi. I think my producer is best equipped to answer that question. Having said all of it, it's finally coming out.

Rekha Once Said She ‘Copied' Amitabh Bachchan Under His Influence: 'When We Started…'
Last Updated: Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan lit up the screen in classics like Silsila and Do Anjaane — but she later revealed just how deeply he shaped her as an actor. Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha's on-screen chemistry is one of the most talked-about dynamics in Bollywood history. Their pairing, especially in Silsila (1981), became a cultural phenomenon — fuelling decades of headlines on their alleged love affair, fan theories and public fascination. While Silsila is often seen as their most iconic film together, Amitabh and Rekha starred in several other Hindi movies that captured their electric screen presence. Some of the most popular Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha films include Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978), Mr. Natwarlal (1979), Suhaag (1979), Do Anjaane (1976), and Ram Balram (1980). Their Bollywood pairing defined an era, with audiences drawn to their onscreen chemistry and the mystery that surrounded their off-screen relationship. In a rare interview with Rediff, Rekha spoke about working with Amitabh Bachchan and the lasting impact he had on her performances. While both have largely kept silent about the love affair rumours that even Jaya Bachchan spoke of, Rekha has, on rare occasions, spoken about the deep professional influence Big B had on her as an actor — and one such moment came during an old interview with Rediff. When asked about the common observation that traces of Amitabh Bachchan's style could be seen in some of her own performances, Rekha didn't shy away from the comparison. 'I don't deny that. When a critic pointed out that I had copied him in Madam X, I agreed," she said candidly. Looking back at their early years in the film industry, she explained how working closely with Amitabh Bachchan at that stage inevitably leaves a lasting impact. 'Look, when we started working together, we were at a very impressionable stage," she said. 'Each one left his or her impression on the other." She even recalled how much of a cultural icon Bachchan had become during that era — not just for co-stars, but for the entire public. 'If you saw a crowd in those days from a top angle, you just saw a whole sea of heads with the Amitabh hairstyle," she added. Having acted alongside him in about 10 films early in her career, Rekha said it was natural for some of that influence to show up in her own craft. 'I worked with him in 10 films at an early stage of my career, spanning over so many years. How can I not be influenced?" While rumours of their off-screen love story continued to make the rounds, it never culminated into anything. Amitabh Bachchan is married to Jaya Bachchan and have two children – Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan. Rekha was briefly married to industrialist Mukesh Agarwal in 1990, the marriage ended tragically with his death the following year. 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' box office collections day 9: Pedro Pascal's superhero flick sees fresh momentum; Global collection crosses Rs 2252 crore mark
After a lukewarm run during its initial week, 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' appears to be getting a second wind. The film, headlined by Pedro Pascal , has seen a significant boost in collections on its ninth day. The global earnings soared to an impressive Rs 2252.45 crore, according to data from Sacnilk website. The early days showed signs of decline. Post-Day 5, the Day 9 numbers suggest growing interest, possibly due to strong IMAX 3D appeal and word-of-mouth buzz finally catching on. India Contribution Modest But Steady; English Version Leads the Pack In India, the film has earned Rs 30.09 crore net, with Rs 22.06 crore coming from the English version alone. The Hindi version has brought in Rs 6.59 crore, followed by Tamil at Rs 86 lakhs and Telugu at Rs 58 lakhs. Interestingly, the English version has maintained the highest day-to-day consistency. Day 9 alone added Rs 1.91 crore to the English total, showing a slight rebound from the mid-week dip. In contrast, the Hindi version saw a smaller Rs 19 lakhs on Day 9, while Tamil and Telugu made marginal additions of Rs 6 lakhs and Rs 2 lakhs, respectively. No Final Verdict Yet; But Revival Sparks Hope for Extended Run Despite its box office turnaround, 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' is yet to receive an official verdict in any language. The numbers are promising, but the lack of a declared hit or average status leaves room for cautious optimism. Still, fans and analysts alike are hopeful. Pedro Pascal's presence and the film's high-concept visual storytelling seem to be finding traction with a wider audience, especially those seeking immersive big-screen experiences. ETimes review for the film reads, "Pedro Pascal stands out as Reed Richards, portraying the duality of a brilliant scientific mind who views everything through a pragmatic lens. His internal conflict over his unborn child's normalcy—constantly running scans and tests—is handled with finesse. Vanessa Kirby impresses as Sue Storm, balancing her duty as a superhero with that of a mother who refuses to sacrifice one for the other."
