‘It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Season 17 Trailer Teases ‘Abbott Elementary,' ‘Golden Bachelor' Crossovers

'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' is back for Season 17 and the trailer is promising all manner of insanity. As previously announced, the new season of the hit comedy will feature the crossover with 'Abbott Elementary' from the gang's perspective, while the trailer also reveals that Frank (Danny DeVito) will star in a new season of 'The Golden Bachelor.' Season 17 will premiere on July 9 on FXX and stream the next day on Hulu. The official description for Season 17 states 'Ronald 'Mac' MacDonald (Rob McElhenney), Charlie Kelly (Charlie Day), Dennis Reynolds (Glenn Howerton), Dee Reynolds (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank Reynolds (DeVito) return to shamelessly shed their 'niche' label for grander aspirations. They'll exploit cross-network promotion to increase market share; they'll scapegoat one of their own to avoid a PR backlash; they'll risk everything for a handshake with the Saudis; they'll bend the laws with side hustles to pad their pockets and they'll change everything about themselves to appeal to a broader audience.' 'And sure, like any corporate goon, the Gang craves money and parasitic social privileges. That's been plain since 2005. But they're also human beings. They crave love.. respect… conditional freedom… constant adulation… histrionic amounts of attention… non-stop gratification… and unfiltered, slaphappy eroticism. In Season 17, they'll chase down them all. And the money. Obviously, the money. They don't want to spend the rest of their lives working like dogs.' Season 17 of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' is executive produced by creator McElhenney, Day, Howerton, Michael Rotenberg, Nicholas Frenkel, Dave Chernin, John Chernin, Rob Rosell, David Hornsby, Nina Pedrad, and Victor Hsu for FX Productions. Will There Be a Season 3 of ‘Nine Perfect Strangers?'

The second season of Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers premiered in May with a new cast of characters, all subjected to the whims of Masha Dmitrichenko, played by Nicole Kidman. The experimental Wellness program ended dramatically, as is to be expected, and fans wonder if there will be more to learn about Masha's psychological philosophies in future seasons. Will there be more strangers meeting in a remote location soon? Here's what we know so far. Hulu has not yet renewed the show for another season, but since season 2 just came out a month ago, they may need more time to assess before making a decision. This season saw the strangers arrive at an exclusive Alpine retreat called Zauberwald to meet Masha for their psychedelic therapy. The official synopsis reads, 'Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru, Masha Dmitrichenko (Nicole Kidman), to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.' The main thing that changes each season so far is the location and the cast, aside from Kidman, who remains the lynchpin of the whole process of becoming 'well.' Kidman would have to return as Masha Dmitrichenko, but other than that, it's anyone's guess. The show has attracted some major stars who probably want to do more TV projects with less of a commitment. Season 2 starred Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong, and Aras Aydin. This post will be updated.
