HOLLYOAKS Later is to make a shock return for the soap's 30th anniversary.
The series last aired in 2020 and is a post-watershed version of the Channel 4 soap.

It is set to be darker, sexier and more violent for the new episode that will air in the autumn as part of the month long celebrations
And The Sun can exclusively reveal there's going to be a host of familiar faces returning for the episode - as well as some new.
The episode will see the return of Warren Fox and Theresa McQueen to the show as actors Jamie Lomas and Jorgie Porter reprise their roles.
And Coronation Street star Tisha Merry is joining Hollyoaks as series regular with her character Gemma debuting in the late night episode.
Jamie Lomas said: 'It's great to be back for Hollyoaks 30th celebrations and what better way to return than a Laters.
'Warren has been busy since you last saw him, wanting to rebuild his empire and start afresh after the heartbreak with Mercedes.
'We'll be filming a lot on location and they're pulling out all the stops so I'm looking forward to it.'
Jorgie Porter added: 'It's really exciting to be a part of Laters, I've been in so many over the years and they're always my favourite - hopefully I get a swear word this time.
'Theresa is scheming with an unlikely business partner and it's fun to see her living life on the edge again.

The last outing for the series aired in 2020 and saw the grisly end of serial killer Breda McQueen as her own son Sylver stabbed her with a knitting needle as she tried to burn Tony Hutchinson alive.

Channel 4 has faced backlash from advertisers as they demand their ads are pulled from it's controversial documentary 1000 Men and Me: the Bonnie Blue Story, which aired last week Channel 4 is facing pressure from advertisers demanding that their ads are removed from its controversial Bonnie Blue documentary. The programme titled 1000 Men and Me: the Bonnie Blue Story, aired last week and followed the content creator as she exposed the dark reality of her X-rated videos. Now, businesses have asked for their ads to be removed from the documentary featured on Channel 4 on Demand -including card payment business Visa, juice maker Cawston Press and vodka brand Smirnoff. It was reported by The Times that the brands did not want their products promoted during the programme as it does not align with their values or advertising guidelines. The documentary about Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has sparked backlash for including explicit sex scenes - most notably a scene in which the adult content creator films a sex tape alongside two others from the porn industry, the Mirror reports. A Channel 4 spokesperson said in a statement: "We take great care to ensure that advertising is appropriately placed across all programming, particularly where content may be sensitive or potentially contentious. "In the case of 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, the programme was reviewed in advance of transmission to ensure advertising was suitable. Several brands and categories were excluded to avoid inappropriate juxtapositions." They continued: "Channel 4 is a commercially funded public service broadcaster. We use commercial revenues such as advertising to make programmes that deliver our remit to create change through entertainment across a wide range of issues. Our programming is created independently from our commercial operation." Dam Rachel de Souza, a children's commissioner, has hit out at the documentary, claiming that it risked affecting efforts to protect teenagers from online porn. She stated: "For years we have been fighting to protect our children from the kind of degrading, violent sex that exists freely on their social media feeds. "This documentary risks taking us a step back by glamorising, even normalising, the things young people tell me are frightening, confusing and damaging to their relationships," she concluded. Earlier this week, the shadow Home Office minister expressed outrage that children can still access the Bonnie Blue documentary online, despite recently introduced strict age checks designed to block access to pornographic content. Although Channel 4 requires users to be at least 16 to create an account, the lack of a robust age verification system allows minors to easily input false birth dates to view the show. "It seems bizarre to me," Home Office minister Katie Lam said on Times Radio. "There is clearly a consistency problem both in terms of content and in terms of platform." Ofcom has not yet confirmed whether it will launch a formal investigation into Channel 4's broadcast of the documentary but stated that it is "assessing the complaints against [its] rules." In response, Channel 4 maintained that the programme was "compliant with the Ofcom broadcasting code". The broadcaster also defended its decision to make the documentary about the adult star, who claims to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours. Commissioning Editor Tim Hancock said: "I believe it is Channel 4's job to tell stories like this, trying to get behind the truth of the headlines. We film real stories in real time. We are very proud to do films like this."

Natalie Cassidy says 'I don't miss it' as she opens up on EastEnders exit
Natalie Cassidy has opened up on her decision to leave EastEnders after playing Sonia Fowler on the BBC soap for more than three decades Natalie Cassidy confesses she "doesn't miss" EastEnders after departing the soap following more than three decades on screen. The actress initially joined the beloved BBC programme as Sonia Fowler back in 1993. The 42-year-old remained with the series for 14 years before her initial exit in 2007. She made sporadic returns before securing a permanent comeback in 2014. Yet this January saw the announcement that Natalie would be departing the soap once again, with her farewell scenes broadcasting on April 17. During that period, Natalie expressed her desire to dedicate more time to her family - fiancé Marc Humphreys and daughters Eliza, 15, and eight-year-old Joanie - whilst exploring fresh projects. Natalie has now revealed her feelings about leaving during a chat with fellow soap actress Kellie Bright. Appearing on the Life with Nat podcast, she declared: "I don't miss it, I don't. I miss the people. It's full on." The television personality went on to confess she feels positive about her decision. She added: "I do feel happier doing the things I'm doing now. I always feel like I have to say it, I loved it, I'm grateful for it but I did fall into it and that was that, and that's what I did for 30 years, I don't know if I was meant to do that." Following her departure from the programme, Natalie has penned a book about motherhood, titled Happy Days, which is scheduled for release in October, and has fronted her own consumer show on Channel 4. Her forthcoming series, Learning to Care, will feature Natalie returning to college to discover everything about becoming a carer. Throughout her three decades on EastEnders, Natalie confesses there was one particular aspect she "loved". She disclosed she would get thrilled upon receiving the scripts. She continued: "I used to love it, I loved the prep, getting the scripts. I never got bored of getting a script. I never felt bored or thought, 'Oh, here we go, we've got to undo it all and do it my way and see what's happening'. I never lost that in all of those 32 years." Prior to her departure, Natalie acknowledged feeling "guilty" about how much time she could devote to her domestic life. However, she clarified she did spend whatever free time she had with her family. Speaking to Closer magazine, Natalie confessed: "It's hard. You feel guilty about not spending more time at home, but you need to take the opportunities when they come along to earn money." She continued: "You have to accept that not every bit of your life can be perfect all the time. Any time I do have off, I'm at home with Marc and the kids." Outside her EastEnders role, Natalie has also starred in the BBC comedy Mandy in 2020 as Donna Bell and has made guest appearances on ITV's Loose Women. She has also featured on Celebrity Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing, and The Masked Singer.

As she confessed her fears, explaining that the Radcliffe brothers had implied there was more to what happened to her, she admitted her daughter Betsy Swain had visited one of them, Logan, for answers. But Floyd suggested to her the pair may just be trying to get to her. He asked her if she truly thought her wife was corrupt, or maybe Logan and Matty Radcliffe were lying because they had a grudge against her after their recent arrests. Lisa appeared to come around to the latter idea, while she admitted "you never truly know anyone". As the session ended, Floyd checked in with her and she said: "Maybe you're right," questioning if she'd "been kidding herself" as Floyd seemed keen for her not to believe Becky was corrupt. It's then as Lisa left the room that Floyd got his phone out and called a mystery person. He told the mystery caller: "I think I made a breakthrough with Swain." So was he calling someone to let them know Lisa may drop the Becky case? Was it Costello, who was seen on his phone after? Was it the person who later told a prisoner to attack Logan after his comments to Carla? Viewers even wondered if it was the mystery Tia Wardley, the name Logan gave to Carla. One fan said: "I think we were meant to believe Floyd was ringing Costello after Lisa's therapy session but what if it was this Tia Wardley??" Another fan said: "Costello." A third fan posted: "Floyd the therapist is compromised, he's part of the it! Costello sent him to shut Lisa down and stop her digging into Becky." Another viewer said: "Who was Floyd on the phone to - was it Costello?"
