William tells Lionesses the nation is proud of them in Euros good luck message
William, patron of the FA, will be in Basel, Switzerland, to cheer the team on Sunday, as they face fierce rivals Spain, who beat them in the 2022 World Cup final.
England's habit of dramatic late comebacks in this competition was not missed by the royal football fan, whose online message said: 'Good luck to the Lionesses tomorrow.
'The nation is so proud you are through to the final, after some stunning comebacks! We are all cheering you on! W.'
England clinched their place in the final with a last-gasp victory over Italy in extra time in Switzerland on Tuesday.
It also took a a dramatic penalty shootout win over Sweden to keep their title hopes alive and reach the semi-final, as England looked as though they were going out in extra time.
England boss Sarina Wiegman conceded Euro 2025 has been the 'craziest' run of tournament matches in her managerial career.
On Saturday, she said: 'In this environment you have challenges all the time. Before the World Cup, we had challenges with players who were injured.
'Of course, we prepare a lot and we know the players really well. We think of scenarios, 'Who is the first player to select? Who is the second?'. You're prepared for challenges.
'But in this tournament, it has been the craziest one with how the games went. That has been different.'
Michelle Agyemang, 19, who had one England cap before the tournament, has been a rising star in this competition, and twice became the team's saviour with equalisers in their quarter and semi-final comebacks.
She began her footballing career at Brandon Groves AFC in South Ockendon, Essex, and the club are anxiously waiting for the final.
Roy Enright, 45, who manages the girls' team, said: ' I think it will be a tight game, very close and it might even go to extra time.
'Everyone is excited for the game. It is fantastic to see the impact Michelle has shown.
'The girls in my team are truly inspired by what Michelle is doing at the moment.'

The Euro 2025 winners will be back in England on Monday, ahead of their celebratory parade on Tuesday. The Lionesses are set for their triumphant return to the UK after their nail-biting victory over Spain in the Euros 2025 final. Chloe Kelly's final penalty on Sunday evening secured the England team's back-to-back European titles, bringing an end to a difficult tournament for the squad, which saw them playing in extra time three times in a row. After needing to recover from an opening loss to France just to make it out of the group stage, and then play 120 minutes against both Sweden and Italy to reach the final, England again came from behind on the night and went the distance as Alessia Russo cancelled out Mariona Caldentey's opener. After seeing goalkeeper Hannah Hampton make two key saves before Kelly's winning spot-kick, manager Sarina Wiegman called it 'the most chaotic and ridiculous tournament we have played' as the never-say-die attitude of her players again shone through. But most people will now forget the arduous journey the England team took to reach the final, with all that matters now being that they won and how they are going to celebrate. When will the Lionesses celebrate their victory? The Lionesses will return to England on Monday and will begin their celebrations with a reception at Downing Street. They will be hosted by deputy prime minister Angela Rayner and sports minister Stephanie Peacock. Players, coaches and Football Association representatives are to attend the Downing Street reception, Number 10 said. There has been no word on a bank holiday to celebrate the England team's victory yet, despite calls from members of the public. Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey said an additional day off would be a great way of honouring the "stunning achievement." But when asked about it on Monday morning, business secretary Jonathan Reynolds said he couldn't commit to one. Speaking to BBC Breakfast he said: "So there should certainly be a celebration. I can't, I'm afraid, promise a bank holiday, but there will be a reception in Downing Street today. I believe the victory parade is scheduled for tomorrow." There was no bank holiday following their victory in the 2022 tournament, nor was there one when the men's team won the 1966 World Cup.
