The Best Nike Sneakers Releasing in May
The next drop will come May 14, as the 1906L sneaker-loafer gets a new grey treatment to follow up its metallic silver launch colorway from last fall. May 22 will then bring the newly launched 2010, a lifestyle model inspired by aughts runners, and the affordable 471 fashioned after '70s running sneakers.
Andrew Reynold's first New Balance sneaker, the 933, will also join the festivities May 26, and 'Grey Days' will come to an end May 29 with the 1300JP, the premium Made in Japan sneaker that releases just once every five years.
'Whether you're new to the brand or a longtime loyalist, grey embodies the promise of everything that sets New Balance apart,' Brian Lynn, New Balance global vice president of Lifestyle, said in a release. 'The symbolism of Grey has remained central to the brand for decades, and Grey Days 2025 showcases its diverse appeal by bringing together an array of our athletes.'
New Balance's grey lineage dates back to 1982, when it launched the 990 and chose a grey color scheme to allow the premium running sneaker's features to shine rather than color. The company had a modest expectation to sell 5,000 pairs of the $100 running sneaker, but it became a much bigger hit despite being the most expensive running shoe on the market.
For this year's 'Grey Days' campaign, New Balance tapped musicians Aminé and Sainte; athletes Gabby Thomas and Cameron Brink; and the actress Storm Reid.

Quick! My favorite Nike running sunglasses are 63% off in a rare early Prime Day deal
It might feel like running sunglasses keep getting bigger and brighter, and it can be hard to find a low-profile design that still gives you proper eye protection. One model that really stands out and features in our best running sunglasses guide is Nike's Victory Elite sunglasses. These Nike running sunnies usually cost $102, but thanks to an early Amazon Prime deal, they're down to just $38 right now. Paying under $50 for a high-performance pair is rare in my experience testing running sunglasses, so I'd act fast if you want to snag a pair before stock runs out. The Victory Elite sunglasses aren't just lightweight. They also have a sleek wraparound design that stays secure and minimizes distractions while you run. If you wear glasses, you can even clip in prescription lenses, which is a big bonus. For me, these are a timeless pair of running sunglasses that will stay in my kit long after trendier designs come and go. Keeping things extra low-key with the Victory Elites, I tested and trained for a marathon wearing the Matte Black colorway. Right now in this Amazon deal it's the Matte Fossil Rose version that's on sale with a huge 63% discount — and I immediately want this colorway. The pinkish tones aren't bright or flashy, so they'll pair well with other colors and running outfits without standing out too much. Prefer sunglasses that adjust to you? The Victory Elite sunglasses have an adjustable nose bridge and flexible temple arms, so you can customize the fit to your face shape. The arms are also wrapped in rubber sleeves to enhance grip and keep them secure, so you can run hands-free without constantly pushing them back up. They're lightweight, stable, and stay put even on long sweaty runs.

Harris Tweed Joins Nike for a Luxe Take on the Dunk Low
Name:Harris Tweed x Nike Dunk LowColorway:TBCSKU:HQ5036-901, HQ5036-900MSRP:$140 USDRelease Date:Fall 2025Where to Buy:Nike Harris Tweedis partnering withNikefor a highly anticipated release, giving the iconicDunk Lowsilhouette a luxurious and textural update. Rumored to arrive in three distinct colorways, the collaboration swaps out the Dunk's traditional leather uppers for handwoven Harris Tweed wool, imported from Scotland — bringing a refined, heritage-driven edge to the beloved streetwear staple. Each pair is marked by a Harris Tweed tag stitched onto the tongue of the left shoe, cementing the partnership with an official seal of authenticity. The first standout colorway features a multicolored tweed upper, with a soft pink and blue weave that incorporates subtle blue threads throughout, set atop a light pink canvas. A black and white woven quarter overlay adds visual contrast, offering a clash of patterns that gives the shoe an edgy, fashion-forward feel. Rich dark brown accents appear on the Swoosh, laces and heel lining, grounding the palette and tying the design together. A pink embroidered Nike logo decorates the heel tab, which sits atop a brown canvas base. The look is completed with a coral-colored midsole, a chocolate brown outsole and an ocean blue insole, adding a vibrant final touch. In contrast, the second colorway takes on a more minimalist and monochromatic approach. The upper features an all-over black-and-white houndstooth tweed pattern, offering a timeless and sophisticated look. Black laces, Swoosh and matching overlays blend seamlessly into the shoe, making it a versatile option for both elevated and casual styling. This collaboration merges Nike's sportswear legacy with the centuries-old tradition of Harris Tweed craftsmanship. The result is a collection that appeals to both sneaker enthusiasts and fashion purists — celebrating quality materials, timeless patterns and thoughtful design. With its heritage textile base, this Dunk Low release brings a new level of sophistication to the streetwear icon. Stay tuned for images of the third colorway.
